  1. Unlikely, has that even happened before
  2. I am still waiting on the pigeons for my modular street etc, a Corvus mould would come in handy as well
  3. Creator 3-1 has more or less zero budget for things like that, the prelim figs looks better than the castle ones at least
  4. I do not think the price is so important in regards to what the set is, it could have been 400, but the set in question probably needed 470. If last years Icons set had needed 470 to pull it off they probably would have given it that. We are basically getting a new HP flagship set every year so I do not think the designers take the "highest price ever" much into consideration when they decide what to make
  5. Yes I think a curveball is most likely this year as well
  6. I think any part of Hogwarts castle is unlikely for the D2C, could be something outside maybe, but not the castle. I hope for DA expansion, but not as convinced as other members we will get it
  7. One of the new Mario sets have the small bird in red for the first time and one with blue, however they are both without eye-print (could be a error or maybe not since the white one came without print in a set)
  8. I hope for something that is a mix between and with modern parts, details and building technique as This would be the prefect opportunity to bring back the goats yes I do not understand that logic since there was a second vote, if they had just had one vote then combined all the Castle votes and said they won it would have been something different since Castle fans potentially could have voted 3 times as many as Bonkle fans, however with the second round that problem was eliminated since we only had one vote there My guess is between 10-20 minifigs (closer to 20 than 10 hopefully), then I hope for 4 horses, 2 cows, 2 goats, 2 sheep, 1 pig, 3 hens (some juvenile animals of the former animals), If there is some forest area outside the castle I wound not mind deer, hare, etc included as well. Then 4000+ parts, I know I expect a lot, but it is 350 euro non licensed set after all
  9. https://www.promobricks.de/lego-ritter-sind-zurueck-neue-ritterburg/140348/
  10. I hope the sets include some civilian figs and a lot of animals. I will not be happy with 1 horse (the Santa set had 4 reindeers after all) in this set and it has never been some many farm animals in production as this yeaqr so I hope they take advantage of that I have not been so hyped for a set since B-bay, so I hope it will live up to my exaptations like that set Definitely
  11. Luckily it seems like Lego understood this and gave us a lion one instead The GOAT castle We will see they should have budget for a "new" mould and this would be the perfect time to bring it back Yes this better not have one horse in it
  12. I think 1 year is very short, normally it takes them longer to develop a set I think, if I remember correctly over 1,5 years is the norm I believe
  13. 4999: Vestas Wind Turbine a limited Vestas employee set released in 2008, rereleased in 2018 as 10268: Vestas Wind Turbine. 10189: Taj Mahal released in 2008, rereleased in 2017 as 10256: Taj Mahal 21313: Ship in a Bottle released in 2018, rereleased in 2021 as 92177: Ship in a Bottle 21309: NASA Apollo Saturn V released in 2017, rereleased in 2020 as 92176: NASA Apollo Saturn V However I think most of the parts where still in production, that would not be the case for 30 year old Pirate sets so it is probably not happening anyway
  14. That is right, but the last few years they have rereleased a few sets even two that just had retired due to popular demand. However I have not much interest in old Pirates sets brought back. Firstly I have bought most of them that I want now and secondly as much as I love them they are 30 years old so I rather have new sets with modern building techniques and details like B-Bay
  15. I also spent a fair bit of time building it, but that should mean that it have a lot of details and advanced building techniques right. So not a bad thing in my mind that when you buy a expensive Lego set it takes some hours to build it, that is the fun part after all, looking at it at the shelf later on the other hand soon gets boring
  16. We are getting 3 new animals and corn piece from what we have heard so far for a small sub-theme of 3 sets (could be more hopefully), that is already a lot of new moulds. If you are expecting new moulds for everything then I am afraid you are setting yourself up for disappointment
  17. Why would their be a "compromise", this is a one off fan vote should not matter what else is on shelf's, but what fans voted most for right?! What would have been most interesting is if they had made 4 sets so fans could put their money where their mouth is They did not think it true enough that was why there was so many strange would not say categories, but divided themes, space had several: Bionicle - 24799 Classic Space - 18171 Pirates - 15884 Trains - 14855 Adventurers - 13988 Classic Castle -12603 Forestmen - 8056 Lion Knights - 7117 Imperials - 7012 Town - 6610 Black Knights - 6427 Model Team - 6397 Dragon Knights - 6334 Space Police - 5738 Rock Raiders - 5298 Studios - 5179 Blacktron - 5088 Ice Planet - 4503 Black Falcons - 4244 Aquazone - 4051 M-Tron - 3555 Alpha Team - 2807 Paradisa - 2584 Time Cruisers - 2234 Wolfpack - 2111 Exploriens - 1695 Arctic - 1620 Divers - 1424 https://ideas.lego.com/blogs/a4ae09b6-0d4c-4307-9da8-3ee9f3d368d6/post/6c5a05b4-e29c-47ec-8841-a2bce1f8933e
  18. Yes they are good from what I have seen, however they both leaves something to be desired. If you compare B-bay with the blacksmith shop the former are probably the best Pirates set of all time, I would not say the same of the latter. Pirates have ships as their main sets and forts/hideouts as their second one, B-bay is a huge hideout set, that as a B model can turn into a big ship and a smaller hideout, 10/10. Castle have castles as their main sets and civilian village as their second one, the blacksmith set is no castle and as a civilian set it is still not a 10/10. The build looks great, but there are few minifigs and animals. The Creator castle is fantastic as a Creator set and a parts pack for moc builders, but with a few repeated minifigs and no animals it is of no use to me personally. I big castle or something similar to Medieval Market Village/Mill Village Raid jam-packed with minifigs and animals would be something else
  19. I do not disagree, my favourite theme is Pirates, but since we just had B-bay I think Castle deserved it more and voted for it. I think Pirates would get a lot more votes if the fans where as starved as Castle and Bonkle fans are That said a big D2C set with imperials would be a dream come true
  20. Bonkle only had one category to vote for, the others had several so the result from the second round where we only could vote for one group could be very different https://www.stonewars.net/lego-news/interim-results-of-the-lego-ideas-90th-anniversary-survey/ It was a very unfair first round. E.g in a president election in the states if the republicans only had 1 candidate and the democrats had 8, the former could win with only 20% of the votes even if 80% voted for one of the candidates of the latter party.. What they should have done was have Castle etc as one category then have subcategory of the different subthemes. E.g. vote for the democrats then choose the favourite among the candidates if you had one
  21. A new small trailer has dropped, this time with a picture of Tina, what is going on with her in the movie I wonder https://www.mugglenet.com/2022/03/its-tina-goldstein-japanese-trailer-for-the-secrets-of-dumbledore-gives-quick-glimpse-of-tina/
  22. I say 40% Castle 20% pirates 20% Bonkle 20% Space It got the most votes in the first round if you combine the different subthemes at least. Maybe unrelated maybe not; a reddish brown horse have pop up on B&P, that has not been in any set for several years so that must mean it will come in one soon
  23. The reddish brown horse are back in B&P so this should mean we get it in a set soon Maybe a unknown farm set or the 90th year set if it is Castle
  24. Nice find, it must be rare that a part shows up before a set?! It is even more expensive than the other horses It shows up in older sets with it, but it could be some minor differences to them. The white one was not exactly the same when in pop up again, however I see that they have 2 different listings in there so could be the same. Anyway this is good news, maybe a limited farm set we do not know about yet or a the 90 years set if it is Castle
