  1. Looks like the frog comes in a new colour "Vibrant Yellow" in 11022 space mission (the set also have the 2 other new frog colours this year).
  2. I tried to call in an order some animals, off course no luck there, but it was worth a shot
  3. I was hoping for a limited farm set that would be revealed today, but that wish backfired and at least for now all the farm sets are limited to one retailer in Norway
  4. Just found out that all the farm set are for sale only at one toy-store chain here Hope that is only a limited time like last years wildlife sets or it is going to be very hard to get a decent discount for them
  5. Only the sets and the parts already for sale none of the new animals are listed..
  6. No doubt When I came out of the dark age Lego was maybe half the price in the states now on the other hand some sets are really expensive there For once we are getting a decent price in Norway, so if I am lucky and get it for 40% off on a sale later it might be a better deal than B&P/BL. The B&P price is rather similar in different countries right, so if the animals show up there they should be a lot cheaper than $70 right?
  7. Looks like some of the animals are "cheaper" than before the lock down The new City farm set are there already, however none of the new animals yet
  8. If it is something similar to last years Con then no way, but hopefully they have learned something and it look like they are going to give us more reveals this year. I do not know what sources Promobricks have, but the fact that they have so detailed info on this type of set already now suggest that a reveal is coming sooner rather than later. If Lego is planning a reveal in August they should be able to keep it under wraps until then since it is a D2C/limited type of set that do not show up in the normal retail-catalogue sent to shops half a year before Something related; apparently there has been a 2 day event in Billund for fan media now in connection with the 90 year anniversary(?). As normal most of them do not report much from this type of events at least not until the new sets they are shown have lifted their ban etc weeks later, however Zusammengebaut had a "Live-Ticker" with pictures from the event. Off course no secret sets are shown on those, but do not tell me it is a coincidence that Mike Psiaki and Milan Madge are in a picture with the 2 old sets that are rumoured to come out in a new edition this year It do not necessary mean that they are the designers of the new sets, but if it do we are in good hands On the other hand I had hoped for a set for Pirates this year as well (and bonkle fans probably have hopes for a bone as well), but maybe it is only Castle and Space (the winner and a close second place?!) since the other 2 are not in pictures like this
  9. Thanks for the link, have waiting for the reviews of the farm to show up. It was a really good review even if I did not understand much of what he was saying The piglets and lamb is tiny, but very cute, really looking forward to adding all the new animals to my collection
  10. "On on the topic of animals, why weren’t there any other animals such as chickens? Were any farm-type animals that didn’t make the cut? Wes: This kind of along the horse scenario – we have to work within these limitations and have to choose between things like expensive animals. Whether it’s a couple chickens or even one chicken or one horse. Sometimes the smaller stuff takes more than you would think to produce. So in this case, we felt like the horse was really the the strongest addition to the set because it draws the carriage, plus we could make it in a new colour and it’s a larger animal overall. So, yeah, I would have loved to have some chickens, but I’d have to make some cuts somewhere else." Yes, I am happy they made the choice to make the horse in a new colour for that set, but it is crazy that one horse cost the same in the budget as one or two chickens. Makes no sense to me at all and I assume the husky for some reason is cheaper than the chicken since they managed to include that (or maybe the same and they preferred the dog)? The new hen hose in City only have two even if the prelim had 3 (+1 used for the weather vane), so that would explain the bare minimum included in the set, when Playmobil do it for the same budget: or Exactly, how many AFOLs will end up buying at least one of the 4+ City farm just because of the animals included
  11. No stable was a huge missed opportunity in my mind It is a nice GWP, but I would have preferred they made the tree in brown this time, never liked that the forestmen trees was black back in the day
  12. Could be However why "waste" the goat on a CMF, to me it would more sense to include it in a set so it can boost the sales of that set However what do I know I am not a sales person at Lego and maybe none of the sets like the 90 year castle it would make most sense to include it have the budget to do it Since we have gotten a CMF series 22 this year we would normally have to wait until next year for something non licensed, but the 23 series gives me hope of something existing are coming our way
  13. I set myself up for disappointment I guessed it will have died down by the time I see the set so I can be happy with what we get
  14. Definitely, but I do not think they will give us something so big now, however a modern take on Sabre Island or Lagoon Lock-Up would be appreciated
  15. Castle are getting 2 sets this year and classic space 1, now I am starting to expect something for Pirates as well
  16. From what I understood this is exactly what is is, is this still a discussion? Someone who speak German please confirm that the set in the BTTF video is a prototype of the set we are getting Here are the B-bay prototypes, so as you can see they are very similar, but the details change I hope you are right, the skeleton kept popping up in the minifig line-ups, so it might been lost in translation for me
  17. The 90 year castle set is coming with the 2 horses we got in other sets this year and a cow and a lamb from the City farm set. That was a disappointing low number to me in such a big set, was expecting at least 4 horses and more other farm animals when we got so many in City they could use Looks like there is 2 tan bats in the HP set not 1..
  18. I must say my expectations was tempered some what after watching the big Castle reveal yesterday (probably a good thing). I know the castle and minifigs from the back to the future promo is a "prelim" model of the set, but do not look so impressive to me, however the sketch from promobricks looks decent so I hope the finished set is better From the description it sounds like a low budget set unfortunately. If we compare it to Ninjago city gardens a set that cost 50$ less this has almost the number of minifigs. 19 (when did skeletons start to count as one) is a good number and with 3 fractions and a few civilians it is more or less what I expected (except the king, but queen is better anyway) and I feared it would be fewer. The "gardens" have over 1000 parts more, but the castle may have a lot of bigger parts so that is fine I think. The castle have more animals than the gardens set, but this is my biggest disappointment with the new we got so few I would say 4 horses should have been minimum for a huge set like this, that we only get 2 is a disappointment I get my "ox" cart and a lamb from the City farm set, but with a better budget they should have been able to include more of them (and brought back the goat) The forestmen GWP is a nice surprise, but no way I am waiting a month to see if it is still around when the Castle show up. I will get the GWP day 1 and probably wait to buy the castle until I get a nice GWP or similar later
  19. If everything was published instantly we would never have anything to look forward too.. Since that is not the case I really look forward to hearing some more news about the set tonight
  20. Congratulations on finishing over 500 excellent minifigs Happy to see that you included a Imperial Soldier in the last series, they have always been my favourites since they first came out in 1989
  21. I agree you definitely drew the short stick this time and normally it is we that do that. So I was very pleased to the that it was only 53,50 Euro her for once. A 40% discount for a normal City set is not rare if one is willing to wait a while, with all those animals it may be cheaper to just buy the set even if they pop up on B&P again
  22. Yes, have not been so hyped for a set since B-bay Hope I do not set myself up for disappointment I do not think that was the case, from what I remember it was not enough time to make it. So the designer probably made the request too late in the design process That is right, people want what they can not have
  23. I agree with all your points, however the goat is a special case. The only set that had it was a Castle set, there is a huge demand for it and a anniversary set like this would be the perfect occasion to bring it back. It all depends on the budget of the set, if that is big enough to make a "new" mould they would probably do it if not no way it is included without as you say showing up in City or CMF first. The only chance for that now is a limited City farm set that have not leaked (I still hope there is one) or the so called anniversary CMF series (if that is still a thing)
