What was the last movie you watched?
Moon_Knight replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Don't know if this applies to this thread but I just finished the Firefly tv series and Serenity for the first time and loved them. Need a new series to watch. Any recommendations? -
I sure hope we see a Nova cameo in GOTG. I'm not getting my hopes up though. Since Wolverine is my favorite X-Men, I'm excited to see they have a show with him coming out. Makes sense that he would be the central focus of the show since he's the most popular X-Men especially to children. It's kind of funny that he's so popular to children especially since he's probably one of the most violent Marvel characters with knives on his hands! Growing up in the 90s I love the animated X-Men television series for the nostalgia but it in no way compares to X-Men Evolution or Wolverine and the X-Men. They were better written. Wolverine and the X-Men's Days of Future Past episode was way better than the 90s animated series' episode IMO. I've tried watching the 90s cartoon on Netflix and couldn't get past the first episode. I turned it off because I decided that I wanted to keep the fond memories of waking up Saturday mornings to watch it.

Don't mean to be that person but Dwayne Johnson hasn't been confirmed to be Black Adam yet. Just a rumor.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Moon_Knight replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I like the shells on these new turtles. They really should've included the hole to put accessories and weapons on the cartoon turtles' shells. Leonardo looks really cool with his katanas on his back. -
Man, I hate speculation. I just want to know what set we're getting for the 75th Anniversary of Batman.

Agree with you 100%. It is one of the best DC sets we've gotten. I think the mech is the primary reason to get it. It's a fantastic design and Lex looks brilliant in the mech with his suit.

JGL will also star as Morpheus/Dream/Oneiros/Sandman. It is also very a part of the DCCU. Morpheus hangs out with the JLA, Constantine, Metamorpho and even takes down Dr. Destiny in the comic.

It's not in any of the sets. It will be in my Milano when I get it but it's basically just three pieces. There's the plant pot and plant that @kevkipo mentioned and linked, and I took this piece (http://brickset.com/parts/6073031) that came with the Ecto-1 and stuck it into the plant pot and stuck the plant into it. The dark red piece is a brand new piece I think, that you can only find in the Ecto-1 and in 70814: Emmett's Construct-o-Mech. I took one of the extra pieces from my Ecto-1 and easily made this.

I would really like this game to be as good as the Lego Marvel Superheroes game. -

I would love to see a Golden Age Namor movie! A Namor vs the original Human Torch movie would be awesome. I don't think Fox owns the rights to the original Human Torch.
-
Your article in no way states that Marvel has the rights to produce Namor films. It just speculates. Kevin Feige says in the article, "Hmm. My digging on both sides of the aisle revealed Namor at Marvel. I'll have to burrow deeper." He's not even sure. I'd love to be proved wrong though. The last thing I want Is Universal Pictures to turn Namor into an Ang Lee Hulk movie...
-
With the personality that he plays in Sherlock, I think he'd be the perfect cocky son of a gun surgeon that Doctor Strange is. I think Namor would be an excellent choice for Cumberbatch but with Universal Studios owning the rights, I'd rather see him with Marvel Studios.
-
Appears that Marvel's looking at Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy for Doctor Strange. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=101454 Cumberbatch is my no. 1 choice. Hardy has already been Bane and he's going to be Mad Max. I don't think we need to see him in another huge role. Bring on the Khan!

I'm just telling you what they told me. Maybe they're less strict with other licenses or more lenient now. I asked for a replacement almost two years ago.

Don't get your hopes up. I called in to ask for a replacement for a Star Wars mold and they said they don't replace licensed molds. You can bid or buy a Rocket Raccoon on EBay but they're about $20.

They could make it a part of the MCU. It is based on a Marvel comic. The Marvel trademark really doesn't matter whether it gets made into a set or not. We've gotten Toy Story, Cars and Disney Princess sets. There's still a possibility. I don't think Big Hero 6 will be doomed without the Marvel trademark either considering that they've put "From the Creators of Frozen and Wreck-It Ralph" in the trailer. Both of those movies are critically acclaimed and huge box office successes..

I've never really spoken my opinion about Groot on here but I've always really liked his look. I think they got his face perfect and I like his design. In all honesty, I'm not really picky about most of the minifigs we get because ten years ago I never would've dreamed of getting a Groot fig, nor a Deadpool or even a Wolverine minifig. It's an exciting time to be a geek and a Lego collector. We have a Guardians of the Galaxy movie and a movie with Batman and Superman fighting each other coming out! Yup, it's an exciting time to be a geek and I'm going to enjoy it for as long as it lasts.

I'll pass if the Batman set is the batwing from the Lego Movie. I find a 66' batmobile or tumbler way more appealing. I'll probably go with the UCS Slave I if it's the Lego Movie batwing. I'll be even more pissed if it's the batwing and includes GL.

@legofreak86 - Couldn't agree with you more. Bane breaks necks right and left in TDKR. I think making a Heath Ledger Joker minifig would be fine and it would be amazing. I would love to see Liam Neeson Ra's al Ghul minifig too. As Neal Adams said, "Ra's al Ghul is Batman's Moriarty @Robianco - I agree with you too. While I'd love to see a D2C JLA watchtower, I think we've got plenty of time for that especially since we have Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice coming out in 2016 and the Justice League movie coming out in 2018. I want to see a Tumbler with a batpod and a compartment to put Batman in for "attack mode".

I hope they can make this Beyond Gotham game as good as the Marvel one. I didn't mind the past Lego Batman games but Marvel's variety of characters and giant open world has made it the best Lego game up to date IMO.

K, that's what I thought. It seemed a little peculiar that TLG would put that kind of humor in a kids video game especially since DC is against it.

I like the ears on the new cowl but I still think it needed a chin strap. Doesn't look quite right. Anybody else notice what Robin was doing with his hands in the trailer?
