  1. Yellowish/orange, it's all the same to me. It's definitely not red. I'm digging Rocket's giant gun though. LEGO did an excellent job with that. I'm not a huge fan of Groot's arms but it doesn't bug me too much. I'm excited. Being a Guardians fan, I feel like my Marvel movie has finally come and the sets look fantastic. The Milano looks amazing! I will be buying all of these sets immediately when they come out.
  2. Have we seen a Tatooine Luke Skywalker with stormtrooper belt minifig yet? That would go great with my Death Star.
  3. It's for sure yellowish. Compared to the vehicle he's driving and the background of the characters on the bottom left corner, his uniform is the same color which is yellow. That's what he's wearing in the preview too so I'm not sure what you're seeing.
  4. Could there be a possibility that a Green Lantern minifig would come with the Lego Movie when it comes out? Then again the LED Green Lantern has a different outfit than the one in the movie.
  5. Damn, you just ruined the Winter Soldier movie for me.
  6. Sadly, I think it's the Mutt Williams hair mold. I would've preferred the CMF sleepyhead hair mold for Star-Lord.
  7. Sneak peek of the trailer: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=94753
  8. I'd like a Green Arrow to go with that Black Canary that I wouldn't have to spend hundreds of dollars for. Keep the hood but with the goatee.
  9. That's why I suggested the idea buddy. Edit: Almost every superhero got a power ring in Blackest Night and Brightest Day so you're basically spot on. I totally agree with the Noel Batman even though I could use a mech suit Batman from The Dark Knight Returns. And Hal is the best, then comes Kyle Rayner, then John Stewart, and I won't even put Guy on my list.
  10. I've got it........ Sinestro Corps Batman!!!
  11. I'd rather have the comic Green Lantern over the movie SDCC Green Lantern any day. If they do put the boots on GL's minifig, then that will indeed be good news. I would love a Sinestro minifig but you know how that is...
  12. Well, if you bought the 75014: Battle of Hoth for General Rieekan (like me), then you're an idiot. I can't believe how pointless that set was with this year's advent calendar and snowspeeder...
  13. Guardians of the Galaxy trailer tomorrow night on Jimmy Kimmel with Chris Pratt!!! I'm not going to get my hopes up but I don't think the Brick Show would lie considering how many angry fans they'd have...
  14. Looks like Rocket Raccoon is a minifig with the stubby legs. I was hoping for a new mold like Gollum but I'll take what I can get.
  15. @legofreak88 If you want to get more technical then you forgot to mention that it's Juan Bautista's first time being a minifig, same for Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel. The question is though: Would it be Paul Bettany's first time if we get a Vision minifig for Avengers 2? We did get the Malibu Mansion with some computer tech so it somewhat includes Jarvis. As for the Guardians of the Galaxy's Milano, it looks fantastic! I'm anticipating these sets the most for this year. If this movie is as good as the set looks, then Marvel Studios has phase II in the bag. I believe in James Gunn.
  16. If you want to get a first look at James Gunn's Guardian's of the Galaxy (finally), the first teaser trailer comes out on 18 Feb.
  17. @Numbuh1Nerd Wait, did you see all of the set or the same image of half the set that everyone's been talking about? Looking at the image that we've seen, I don't see anyone in back of Gamora. You're right though, she is a lot lighter green than I thought she would be too.
  18. That's what the problem is! A new banner, of course! I like the idea of the Avengers alongside the JLA. Or maybe you could have them fighting because that seems accurate haha! So if we're getting Star-Lord and Gamora in the Milano ship set, looks like we'll see Drax, Groot, and Rocket in the others. Unless one of them is on the other side of the box which is very possible since the Quinjet came with three of the Avengers. I wonder if we'll get more variant Star-Lord minifigs like we got different Ironmen with the Avengers sets. I could see a possibility of a young Star-Lord when his dad crash lands onto Earth if the movie is accurate to Bendis' take on the Guardians. Gives Lego another excuse to make a spaceship.
  19. Nuff said. That explains everything.
  20. @korpen4444 - Are you talking about the humor from the movies or the graphic novels? If that's Star-Lord shooting the ray or whatever at that enemy ship, then it looks like Star-Lord is wearing a helmet or a darker brown Elvis hairpiece that the CMF Evil Kneivel wears. The Elvis hairpiece seems very unlikely but if he has a helmet, that is also surprising because the promotional images clearly show Star-Lord without one.
  21. @korpen4444 You can count me out of the group that only cares for the minifigs. While I do enjoy the minifigs that are included, I would prefer owning a detailed, legit set. We all know what LEGO is capable of with the Arkham Asylum and Unexpected Journey sets. You have to admit that the Batcopter build is a little ridiculous.
  22. I'm sure we all can agree that getting an Asteroid M, or an X-mansion, or a Hall of Justice D2C set would be amazing. Lots of us (including me) would be willing to throw down a significant amount of dough right now for a legit X-Mansion like the one on Cuusoo. I'm afraid It's just not going to happen right now though. Batman is the appeal right now and we're going to have to live with that until Flash or Wonder Woman or even the X-Men take the lead. Wolverine and the X-Men had one season and lost appeal. I loved it but my nephews didn't. They preferred reruns of The Batman and fell in love with the Brave and the Bold when it came out. I know the new Bat chopper is just plain ridiculous but let's just be happy that we're getting a new 52 Nightwing and the Flash.
  23. I completely agree with you. I wouldn't mind seeing a few variant Batmans though, like Flashpoint Thomas Wayne Batman, Sinestro Corps Batman, or Batman Beyond. How awesome would a Dark Knight Returns Batman be? Bring on the Batmans.
  24. I couldn't agree more with the people that want sets that have "more meat" to them. I just don't think these sets are ever going to be made, and if they are going to be made, it's not going to be for a while. What AFOL/Superhero Geek wouldn't want the Fantasticar, the X-Mansion, a Justice League Watchtower, an Oa set with the giant Green Lantern power source and the Guardians of the Universe, etc.? We all know that LEGO is capable of it with our Arkham Asylum sets sitting on our shelves. The LEGO Marvel Superhero videogame demonstrated pure proof as well. The problem that us Superhero lovers face, is the Caped Crusader. LEGO makes what's popular and at the moment, it's Batman. If you've seen the LEGO Movie (SPOILERS, but not really), Batman was the most popular DC Comics character (We didn't even see much of Superman in the movie). Time Warner Inc. recognizes this as well and that's why Batman is coming back to the big screen instead of the Flash or Wonder Woman getting their own movies. Heck, they've even scrapped a couple Justice League movie scripts over the years because they didn't have faith in any of the League members; not even Superman (check out Kevin Smith's Fat Man on Batman podcast for more info). Warner Bros, just really needs to grow a pair... I'm just like you guys. I want to see some new and creative superhero sets too but I honestly don't believe it's going to happen as long as the Dark Knight is towering over all the other superheroes. So I'm just going to be happy that we're getting a UCS Tumbler hopefully (only a rumor, I know), and cross my fingers that the Superman/Batman movie is a success because that is what's going to determine whether we get a Justice League movie or not and ultimately decide whether we're going to get a Flash set that includes Batman instead of a Batman set that includes the Flash. Just a silly opinion though.
  25. What are you talking about? A UCS tumbler is a fantastic idea! That would be the ultimate set that every LEGO Batman fan wants, especially me. I hope this rumor is true.
