Anybody have suggestions for making a plant Groot? I think the best way might be to use these three pieces: the brown bucket/flower pot found in the 79008 Pirate Ship Ambush (and other sets), the green plant stems found in 4738 Hagrid's Hut (and other sets), and the dark red open stud found in the new Ghostbusters set. I don't think it's in any other sets yet. I might be wrong though. Anybody else have any ideas for a Groot plant to go in the Milano? We're for sure getting a Green Lantern soon if we're seeing the same design in the Lego Batman 3 game that we saw for the LED light.

I think we'll just see a cameo Victor Stone in the movie. Maybe we'll see his accident too but I doubt we'll see him as cyborg considering we've got three heroes in this movie already. I wouldn't count on getting a cyborg minifig until 2018 for the JLA movie but that's just speculation.

I agree with you 100%. Goyer wrote an excellent Dark Knight trilogy but if we're getting into superheroes like Green Lantern and hopefully Martian Manhuter, let's get someone else. Goyer's a prick. Let's give Geoff Johns a go. He's an excellent writer and has collaborated with Dick Donner on several occasions. The guy interned for Donner and helped bring about the extended Superman 2 edition that had been lost. His New 52 JLA run has been excellent too. I think Zack Snyer can direct an amazing JLA movie if he gets a good script. The guy can't write himself but his Watchmen and 300 movies have been some of the best comic book movies ever made IMO.

@montyofmusic Thanks! You just got me even more excited to get my hands on the Milano. It looks great from the photos I've been salivating over for almost the whole year of 2014 and it will be even more exciting to actually own it. The no potted plant's a bummer but a way easy fix. I think I've seen some numbered stickers in LOTR sets but I might be wrong. 12 stickers seems like a lot but I don't mind stickers because they provide a lot of detail for the set.

First I've got to say that I'm not really one of those guys that's always wondering who would win in a battle between Hulk and Superman or Galactus and Darkseid. However I was looking at two of my favorite characters one day that have very similar fighting skills and also have similar costumes in a way and I was wondering who would win in a fight between Deathstroke and Deadpool. What do you think? p.s. It's about time we get a Deathstroke minifig.

Haha That's funny. I was at the register with the X-Jet when the cashier told me about the GOTG sets coming out really soon. I was going to wait but I didn't want to walk out empty handed. I'm glad I purchased the X-Jet though because it's a way awesome set! Definitely worth it.

Just got back from my local LEGO store in Murray UT and they have the X-Jet available now. The employee told me that they have all the Guardians sets and the Ecto-1 too but they won't be putting them on shelves until the 1st of June.

The new batsuit looks just like Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns Batman. Best cinematic batsuit yet. With Chris Terrio helping write the script I can only hope we get the true Dark Knight the comics have always portrayed since the beginning when Bill Finger created him -- the detective.

You said it. We need a Fisk Tower (could be similar to the Bugle) with Daredevil and the Kingpin. LEGO really should just pick scenes from out of the game and make sets from them.

I agree. If that actor did the voice or appeared as a character for a film or television show, then I would say that actor legitimately was that character. So Tobey Maguire, in my opinion, is the Spider-Man minifig in the Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 LEGO sets. Tobey Maguire's voice, nor likeness did not portray the character in the Ultimate Spider-Man television series though, so he wouldn't be counted for those sets. On the other hand, Sean Astin could be counted for two minifgs because he was Samwise Gamgee in the LOTR and is Raph's voice in the current TMNT series. Here's where it gets tricky for me though. Chi McBride is Nick Fury's voice in the Ultimate Spider-Man series but Fury's likeness was in fact inspired by Samuel L. Jackson in the television series as well as the Ultimate comics. I'd almost have to count both actors

Link's been my character since the beginning. It's probably because he's in my favorite video game and he's my favorite video game character of all time. It's interesting to see the gameplay change from the original to brawl. Link used to be slow and heavy with a quick spinning sword attack. Now he's quite the opposite.

My no. 1. I'm a big fan of the original 150 Pokemon. I'm "one of those people" that plays the newer games and thinks, "What the heck did I just catch?"

I think he/she just meant that this thread is no longer relevant because the last post was six years ago. I was thinking of starting up a new Smash Bros. thread but found this one. I'm very excited for the new game. I've heard rumors about Ridley from Metroid appearing in the game but that's been a rumor since before Melee came out. Lol My most wanted character is Knuckles the Echidna from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He would be an awesome addition with cool moves like gliding into opponents and digging in the ground.

Don't know if this has already been mentioned (and it probably has), but what comics would you consider to be best to familiarize yourself with the Guardians of the Galaxy? I've done some research and read Bendis' take and these appear to be the best resources: Guardians of the Galaxy Legacy Annihilation Annihilation Conquest And Bendis' Guardians of the Galaxy I've been wanting to read the Annihilations and Legacy but you can only find the digital copies because they're out of print and I'm a collector. I'll have to wait until August for Guardians of the Galaxy Legacy and an Annihilation Omnibus comes out in the beginning of May but it's going to be a hefty price at $125. I'll definitely be getting it on instocktrades.com On a happier note, I've got Thor: God of Thunder Vol. 3, Morrison's JLA Vol 4, and Johns' Infinite Crisis coming in the mail!

29 characters confirmed for the Smash Bros Wii U. That number is incredible and I think it's going to keep growing because characters like Ness, Lucas, Wolf, Metaknight, and Ganondorf haven't been confirmed yet. Not saying all of them will be in the next game but I'm sure Ness or Lucas will definitely make a come back.

I do agree with the "far more interesting" planets to explore. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Kashyyyk or Felucia again.

I think, just as others have said, that Warwick Davis holds the title. He played those roles in costumes with HIS likeness. If you don't count him as a minifig four times you might as well say that his name doesn't belong in the credits at the end of those movies. Davis WAS Wicket W. Warrick, Professor Flitwick, Griphook, and W. Wald. Says so at the end of the movies.

I want it to start with a flashback (since it will be a sequel obviously) of the Sarlacc Pit with a camera slowly zooming into the beast's mouth for at least 10-15 seconds. And just as the camera's zoom gets as close as it possibly can, Boba Fett's fist pops out! Yeah, I'm a huge Boba Fett fan and I know that scene will most likely never happen, unless it happens in the Boba Fett spinoff. Just wishful thinking though. I don't mind seeing Tatooine again. I don't see how you could call it boring. It is where Threepio and R2D2 were kidnapped by a bunch of Jawas, where Han Solo shot first and killed Greedo, where Anakin Skywalker podraced (and that scene was awesome for all you PT haters out there), where Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and the gang almost died in the jaws of the Rancor and the pit of the Sarlacc, and where we heard about midi-chlorians for the first time. Okay, just kidding about the last one but I think the last thing you can say is that Tatooine is boring.

Well, Chris Evans is officially signed on for six films and Sebastian Stan is officially signed on for nine, so we'll probably see Crossbones (and according to the Russo brothers, "he's not confirmed, nor denied" to be involved in the next Cap movie, which basically means he's in it ;D) do his thing that he does in the comics and Sebastian Stan will be the next Captain America. Chris Evans has said that he's grateful for Marvel because they've helped his career grow and gotten his name out. He'd like to continue to enhance his acting skills though and feels that he needs to leave Marvel to do that. So I think we eventually better get ready for some Bucky Cap minifigs but that won't happen until probably 2018.

Wow, I don't think I've ever heard anybody say that they liked the Marvel Now Star-Lord more than the Annihilation. That's a big reason why people don't like Bendis' run. The movie Star-Lord is closest to the Annihilation Star-Lord which storyline was how most fans were introduced to him. I think the red-eyed mask is what makes him look so freakin cool and unique but to each his own.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Moon_Knight replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
They definitely look like mutated turtles.
