  1. Both movies were crap. And Splinter finding a random book in the sewer to learn jujitsu? Just stupid.
  2. I would easily agree with you there. Theoden might be the most beautifully designed minifig of all time! He falls in the same category with the new Boba Fett and Darth Malgus in my book.
  3. I've found this topic very interesting and would have to say that I'm on the side with those that like the most recent design the most. I think the shape and design of the most recent X-Wing is the closest to screen-accuracy. I also like the dark red color that TLG used for 9493. Just by curiosity, which snowspeeder, excluding the UCS, do you like the most? I would have to say that I like 8089. I really hate the snowspeeders with the grey stripe on the front...
  4. That New 52 Batman is so rad! I'm really excited to get that one.
  5. Is @Hulk_Smash a reliable source? We know one thing's for sure when looking at the invisible jet prototype. Wonder Woman's invisible jet has been on TLG's mind. @8BrickMario - It could be a variant of MM.
  6. Is the rumored list confirmed?
  7. I'm sure many, if not all of us, have seen this: https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/ultron32/8105464180/ These are prototypes that TLG designed and built, that we were shown in Lego Batman: The Visual Dictionary. You've got to wonder if that's what the invisible jet will look like.
  8. Unless you've already seen Ant-Man, a film still in the filming process, I'm not sure how you would know how much material it has or not.As far as making Ant-Man sets, I think there's always a possibility. I think because many people aren't familiar with Ant-Man (just like GOTG), Marvel's going to do whatever they can to promote him. I wouldn't be too surprised to see some Ant-Man sets in 2015. Then again Lego can only make so many Marvel sets and they'll most likely continue producing Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble sets, and maybe make sets for the new GOTG cartoon.
  9. The reason why Lego Groot is as big as he is, is so that the Rocket Raccoon minifig would fit on his shoulder. It really is that simple. If anything, people should be complaining about how big minifig Rocket is because that's precisely the reason why we got the big Groot. I don't mind Rocket's size nor do I mind Groot's because I'm just happy we got something. After getting nothing from Dark World and Winter Soldier, it's nice to get some rad GOTG sets. They definitely could've taken the Gollum route with Rocket and made an entirely different mold which would've been okay. Also, according to James Gunn, Drax was purposely made a muddier grey to make him appear more dark and dreary because of his traumatic past. Another reason is so the audience wouldn't confuse his visual similarities with the Hulk. Lego did an outstanding job with the Drax minifig.
  10. After seeing GOTG yesterday, I just kep thinking, "More sets please!" It might not be the best Marvel movie to some but it was definitely my favorite. I'd like to see a Klyn escape set, Taneleer Tivan's museum, minifig scale Rocket's Warbird, more Nova Corps, and definitely Yondu.
  11. Maybe this has been talked about before but I'm not sure so let's see. I'm a fan of the new AT-AT. I like the way it looks, I like the new snowtroopers (I know there are some people that aren't fans), and I really like the new printing for the AT-AT pilot. One thing I consider a HUGE con of the new AT-AT though is the lack of anything inside of it. It only has a trapdoor mechanism for snowtroopers to drop out (if that's what it's for). My question is: is there a set or something that's supposed to go in it? Having 4483, which has seating compartments and a speeder bike, I find the interior of this new AT-AT very unimpressive. Am I the only one?
  12. James Gunn confirmed to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy sequel! http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=104412 Also, I think that Antman poster is just a concept poster but cool nonetheless!
  13. This has been said but I must say it again. That was Qui-Gon Jinn's hairpiece before Bard's and was meant for a minifig with a cape. Everyone is right, that hairpiece would be perfect for Thor.A helmet like Flash's but for Cap would be brilliant for the Avengers 2 sets!
  14. What is the link to this Adam West Batman minifig photo?Edit: Found it! Man, I hope we get that 66' batmobile with the Lego Batman 3 66' Batman and Robin minifigs. I don't think they would make a new cowl mold for one set though.
  15. I don't understand how we couldn't see a superheroes set for $15.20 when we saw the Superman Metropolis Showdown, the Catcycle City Chase, and the Batman: The Penguin Face off sets I understand your point with two new minifigs but the Penguin Face off had variant minifigs too. I'm just saying it's possible. Also, why haven't we seen the Lego-built batcycle yet?
  16. Here's some images of the new batsuit at SDCC. Yeah, the new cowl was definitely meant for the Batman v. Superman movie. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=104225
  17. I'm excited to see that we're getting Brainiac. He's an excellent villain! I like a lot of the ideas I'm reading about. A big fig Darkseid would be awesome! I would really like a Hawkman or Hawkgirl but there seems to be a huge selection of heroes and villains to choose from if this is what this wave is about. I hope we get that New 52 Wonder Woman with the silver crown.
  18. I honestly think the hairpiece is perfect but we can't all win.
  19. You can tell he's the New 52 Batman with the lines all over his torso. There's the three lines that connect from the bat signal on his chest to his shoulders and the lines on his abs.
  20. He's just invisible. ;) That Batman minifig is the one I've been waiting years for! Love the new cowl with the short ears. Looks like we'll indeed be seeing a New 52 Batman and Wonder Woman in the future.
  21. We'll definitely get this 5 o'clock shadow face in the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice sets. Ben Affleck is playing an experienced, grim and gritty Batman. Zack Snyder told us his Batman would be very much like his favorite interpretation of the Caped Crusader which is the Batman of the Dark Knight Returns who also has stubble. Batfleck will have the stubble in the movie and we've seen minifigs like Star-Lord and Indiana Jones with the stubble too. It's really only a matter of time. We'll most likely get the new cowl with the Ben Affleck Batman too. It could've been created specifically for the Batman v. Superman sets until the movie got postponed. I'm just waiting for my bearded Superman minifig ;)
  22. I had guessed Batman of Zur-En-Arrh too. I'm glad it is. Having read Morrison's story of Zur-En-Arrh's Batman, I was excited to see the minifig on the 75th Anniversary poster but I don't mind missing out on this one. Like others have said, at least it's not a key character like Green Lantern or Sinestro, or even other Batman variants that I would've been way pissed to miss out on like Adam West Batman, Jean-Paul Valley Batman, Dark Knight Returns Batman, or even Batman Beyond. (An SDCC exclusive Batman Beyond minifig would've destroyed me!)
  23. I doubt it. I don't think Marvel would allow a Fantasticar since they don't want anybody to know the Fantastic Four even exists. This is old news though.Fantastic Tumbler!
