    I see now, they initially looked like 1x2s; I didn't recognize the dark orange being 3 studs long.

    I was confused by the edge as well since there doesn't appear to be space underneath the tiles to attach them to the ones next to them.

    This has really turned out cool, the curved section looks great. If you are up for suggestions, consider adding the Yard of Bricks from the Indianapolis Speedway with some dark red brick-bricks.

    Very nice Brandon. I think of this as an MOC/Alternate Build because Mods are primarily the original set design with some changes.

    I really like all the subtle details like the single dark grey plate on either side of the tan.

    There are two kinds of fitting in, size and style. The first you can fix with more bricks, but the second you have to decide for yourself.

    When you next replace your fancy helmet store, you should try make something with a curved facade on the one side to match the road. "I really enjoy your food and your music." LOL

    Sad times indeed, but as we say we can find joy in Lego. I like your F1 so far and the pits look very realistic. What are your larger plans for it?

    I like the stumpy little fire truck and ambulance.

    Those are cheese slopes; you see this technique a lot in castle builds. It really is a nice effect.

    I think even dark orange is too close to the tree's colors, maybe something different to make it stand out a little.

    Everything about this is great. The birdhouse design is clever, but I think it could be a different color so it doesn't blend in to the tree.

    It looks great and I like your addition of the turntable "windows" in the red and white shaft. My only suggestion would be to add back the balcony around the top and make it large enough for a fig to stand there. Maybe add a telescope to the railing.

    I understand the point of view of those who were hoping for a set which was primarily an island. I kind of wish they went really retro and did'nt use numbered bags. :D

    Gotta say its super cool and Im not a Pirates collector. I like the classic style of the ship while still using modern techniques.

    The alternate builds might be different ships which could also have sails.
