A great, and timely update. Stay safe during the island lockdown, at least you should have more time to build :D

Looks great and I love all the SW Easter eggs.
-
I like it a lot. Everything has a nice compact style without being simplified and I think the really bright colors work with all of the grey. The arches below the elevated track look great.

You can literally google it and also use maps/streetview.

Looks great. I like the arches throughout.

Really nice

[MOC] Canada Post Delivery Truck - LEGO Ideas
gotoAndLego replied to NickLafreniere's topic in LEGO Town
I agree. I don't think I've seen anyone use the 2x2 jumper like that before for lights so congratulation on a new technique. -
I think you will live a very unhappy Lego life if your reaction to neat small sets is comparing them to huge, massively complex MOCs with big parts counts and likely quite a few illegal techniques. I like Boba more and appreciate the combination of smooth surfaces and studs.

Thanks, you're is looking really good.

Years ago, after getting out of my dark ages, I made this midi-scale one and now you've kind of inspired me to update it.
-
Which truck will you pick (only one) 60182 or 60254??
gotoAndLego replied to ks6349's topic in LEGO Town
Since you don't like boats, don't get the set with the boat and just modify the truck in the other one if you like it. The only reason for you to get the boat set is if there are parts you really want. -
Great update.

I'm looking forward to more photos as you build out the water. -

I like how your ground isn't perfectly flat, even if it only varies by a plate or two. -
This really I stunning and I like how all the parts are hinged; especially clever are the way the small baseplates are hinged so you can open the sides more. Something I'm still chuckling about is that I think the camera is broken in the photo studio.

"Reverse engineering" Razor Crest MOC

Something I noticed which I don't think you addressed is that where the body connects with the "wings" is noticeably wider behind them. -
I'm glad they went with my choice. I'm tired of $700 sets which are hard to find display space for and I already have two UCS tie fighters. besides the RGS (and ARC170 to be fair) is one of the coolest Prequels/Clone Wars ships. Besides, there are hardly any RGS MOCs, so the chances of "The set sucks compared to X" comments are pretty low.
-
Holy cow, how large is your ship going to be?
-
Your Munificent is magnificent.

Members of DixieLUG are starting to build MOCs of Atlanta buildings for our public displays. This is my contribution. And here is the window design, it doesn't matter that the brackets are two studs deep since it won't have an interior. The most interesting thing about this build is the amount of color variation in lime green; it's all over the place. LOL
-
Hilarious, love it.

Obviously it's all good, but a great use of jumpers and tiles to achieve small depth increases and I like the stacked 1x1 plates on either side of the windows. Curious why you used paint brushes instead of short axles to reverse the 2x2 round plates under the roof top.
