Well, personally I believe it's PIXAL who will be the new ninja, if not a completely new character. PIXAL has her own "symbol" and has purple as a main color, which isn't one of the five ninja colors (six, if you include Lloyd's golden suit). It would also make sense, if they continue the "Zane needs PIXAL to fight" thing, but I doubt they will considering Although I just realized Zane's heart is like one of those "friendship lockets" except literally- 4,591 replies

Either way, the plot for Rebooted was brilliant. Unfortunately, I've noticed some more errors in the animation other than characters swapping voice lines. The costume-change problem is still around, although it's far less notable than it was before. Nya at one point in Blackout was using her old outfit (the 2011 one), and Lloyd used his Kimono mid-scene in Codename: Artcurus during the close-up underneath the bell. But it's very subtle, because Nya was only seen from the side in her 2011 outift (when she was scolding Mindroid ) and the close-up on Lloyd focused only on his head and upper shoulders. Still though, less than before. Oh, and I noticed it was the Mailman who Nya crashed the bus into in The Surge EDIT: LEGO has uploaded Episode 34 in another language (it is legal, because LEGO uploaded it) :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qqwvbHbysg- 4,591 replies

Well, my first Bionicle set was- Oh wait, that's right. I never bought one. I do have an unfinished ice-dude (couldn't care less about the name) unfinished green dude (see previous answer) and an instruction booklet for Tahu. I think they were Toa Mata. But they were all second-hand, and came in one pack with a bunch of other stuff. Getting Tahu or a smaller one first anyway.

Good grief, NINJAGO has close to the worse fanons I've ever seen. Although that's out of ones I have seen, so I dread what the internet has come up with that's worse. Anyway, Jay Vincent uploaded the "Mysterious Stranger" track to his Youtube channel. It has a startling likeness to the Serpentine themes. I wonder why that is?- 4,591 replies

Actually, new videos have been uploaded. But depending on where you live (and where the videos were uploaded) it is illegal to view them. So I'd wait until the official release, Volume 1 should be out soon for Americans and it's already out in Australia.

I'm glad that Any word on whether or not they design the plot and then the sets are made, or if they're made side-by-side, or if they've gotten good enough to construct really good plots around the episodes? I'm aware that for the first two/three years the sets were made first, but I'm curious to find out how they do it now.- 4,591 replies

Unfortunately, that trailer was terrible IMO. Hope the movie is better, having Pippin's singing is kind of... stupid, though. But they've really focused on the not-battle parts, and they've already deviated from the book in a whole heap of ways, and now they're going further and further. Good work on Bard's attitude towards the Elves, considering he's never seen an army that organized act like that. Thorin looks ridiculous in his armor, and the way he said "war" was kind of creepy. Still, I'm going to reserve judgement for the film itself, going to see it regardless of reviews or my own opinion on whether or not they're going to butcher it or not.

Anyway, we had better move this to the TV show thread before this gets out of hand, lest we invoke the wrath of the Admin

Not necessarily, it could be rock-beings, lightning-creatures, etc. But still, it sounds more like people vs people than anything else. Sucks that the tech stuff isn't going to stay, it would have been really cool. Also, no more Overlord He was actually one of my favorite characters, Scott McNeil was a great voice actor and everything about the Overlord screamed "EVIL!". I don't "like" the Overlord, but the entire concept was played out so brilliantly that he became one of my faves. That being said, I'm looking forward to the new plot, because I didn't even think the new plot would come along the lines of other people having powers too. I would assume PIXAL is the new ninja, probably the purple one. So, there goes another fanon color (PHEW). Nya is still going to be a Samurai, and unless the Phantom Ninja makes an on-screen appearance or Borg gets cyber-legs, I doubt it would be one of them.

It wasn't just Bara Magna. I'm sure everyone remembers the hideous Mata Nui/s they released? The movie version was better, although apparently the movie was terrible too (I've seen it, but too long ago to remember anything from it)

I'm impressed too, but it's because it's such an unusual piece that it feels like cheap. All it is is a trans-yellow version of Zane's Techno Blade, including the hilt. Regarding the armor, it's going to be pretty stupid if the ditch the armor almost immediately. Zane is almost certainly going to get new armor, because his was destroyed, but the Stone Armor is near-indestructible. That being said, costume change is near-inevitable. Regarding Chima, it looks like it's going to retire soon judging from the plot details. Apparently after the Fire Chi is used to defeat the ice-men (or whatever they're called) there will be eternal peace in Chima. Not to say that they can't do what NINJAGO did, but NINJAGO did this at its apparent end, too.
-
Feels kinda cheap the re-usage of the Techno Blade. Understandable, for a character like Sinestro using his powers, but it's definitely something I didn't expect

If they go with the route of "face behind the mask" again, I just hope they don't do circle mouths again. Just didn't fit.

Indeed. Glad to know it's an exclusive, that way I don't have to be expecting to find it all year only to find utter failure (I get enough of that at my school, ugh). I'm hoping to buy everything I can of this wave. For me, the value of collecting a line diminishes the closer to discontinuation it gets :/ .
-
Yeah, that's really disappointing considering it's in another book and Destructoid (side note, Destructoid is not an LE set in Aus, could be exclusive though as I've only found it in Big W stores) Let's hope that the book will be more accurate than the last Visual Dictionary, because in short the original had next to no accuracy on the plot line (and thus a lot of mistakes were made about characters, Lloyd as the Green Ninja was made out to be more or less the same as the original appearance of Samurai X and eventual reveal as Nya)

No, I haven't had any audio issues with The Final Battle. Regarding what I meant by "voice swap" I mean when one character says something with another character's voice. Eg, Cole yelling "Nina GO!" in the Fire Temple in Episode 10 when only Kai and Lloyd are there, Kai saying Cole's words, etc. It's an animation problem, because there's full animation of the character's mouth. It was a lot more prevalent in Season 2.- 4,591 replies

Same here. I got mine last night (Wednesday) for $16 from Woolworths (saw it on the shelf, couldn't resist :P). Don't go to Sanity to buy them. $20 at those stores. I haven't been able to find the release date for Volume 2 Also, sadly, seeing the episodes in proper quality revealed that the "voice swap" is still happening, a problem I thought they fixed... sigh. The budget expansion was smaller than I thought it was. The menu theme was, (like the previous ones) the same as the "theme". However, they just took the audio straight from the intro, fight sounds included. The outro music is the same as all of the previous episodes (as in, Season 2)- 4,591 replies

Thanks Starrocks for letting people know I'm not the guy on Youtube. Haven't been able to use the internet for a month (switching networks at home, at my town's library at the moment) Official release date for Volume 1 of Season 3 is 16/17 of July in Australia, and from the descriptions I've read it seems that it will contain all 8 episodes given the amount of plot references to the second half of the four episodes they have. Anyway, I've only seen the end of The Titanium Ninja, so it would be good if someone could fill me in on everything that's happened so far. (yeah, off-topic, I know.) Learning of Pythor's (presumed) demise is funny, did not expect he'd be eaten again From what people have wrote, I assume that There's going to be some serious hero-/-villain reductions and increases respectively next year. We've got twelve current protagonists, including Dareth, Borg and the Falcon, and no current enemy (granted Pythor is a somewhat loose end, as is the Overlord and I have no idea if anything's happened to the Nindroids). This year was the biggest for hero-/-villain ratios, excluding the snakes (considering most of them didn't get a verbal mention), so I'm wondering who the "main character" will be next year. I'm thinking either Pixal or Nya, or Jay. I doubt Cole will have his "year" yet. It could be Zane again though, after all Lloyd got a year and a half, and a technical two full years as his "year".- 4,591 replies

Eugh, I hope it doesn't. That'd pretty much destroy NINJAGO in so many people's opinions, because it strips away all of the depth of the original TV show. If this was the original Ninja line, fine, but making a parody of it like this is just over the top. Funny, yes. This would just ruin NINJAGO for me, in so many ways. Furthermore, it would also give the majority of people who hate NINJAGO and pay no attention to it an actual reason to think it's a stupid, over-the-top, ninja samurai robot mecha people versus four-armed snake mech overlord doom death thingies that spin around and eat pizza while nuking North Korea on a skateboard. While arguably NINJAGO could be described as that if you took a first glance at it, when you delve deeper it's the exact opposite. SOrt of like BIONICLE. If you took one glance at it having never seen it before you'd thing it's a bucn of ugly robot hero element giants versus ugly robot doomsday spirit island giants with brain parasite pets fighting over a massive giant robot they were living on the entire time, sort of like Cybertron in TRANSFORMERS.

No, the new updated Visual Dictionary has Luke in pieces. The earlier Star Wars books, however, yes, they were assembled (except for perhaps Yoda Chronicles, I haven't seen that in a while)

To be honest I'm surprised no one has suggested that Misako will play a part in the "Evil Wu" thing like Lloyd had with Garmadon.- 4,591 replies
