  1. They are indestructible, or at least incredibly close to it. The serpentine can't dig through it, so someone else had to unlock it. It wouldn't have just gone "poof". Considering that the citizens of New Ninjago City came armed and ready to a group of ninja that defeated the Overlord, the Great Devourer (yeah yeah, Garmadon did it. Garmadon's the Sensei now, so he counts as a ninja now), and various other villains/graphic novel characters, I'd have to say they were pretty brave. At least in roleplay, anyway
  2. Interesting, the USR and the Epic Dragon Battle are still for sale there.
  3. I think it would be more likely that they released a new Pythor with Nindroids rather than with the Visual Dictionary. But it's probably going to be someone else. Wishful thinking would say the Flying Spaghetti Monster First Spinjitzu Master, but that's almost out of the question.
  4. Actually, I think the newspaper and groceries are a big sign that at the very least the Serpentine aren't being completely honest. Considering they mentioned that they had sworn never to return to the surface, it's a pretty big boo-boo if it was a mistake on the part of the Hageman brothers. Someone still had to unlock that tomb, and nothing seen in NINJAGO has that kind of capability. It's also a bit curious as to where the whole oath-taking thing came from. Heck, the entire IDEA of the serpentine turning a new leaf, at least completely, is absurd. If they knew all along the Golden Master would come to power, why did they try to take over NINJAGO in the first place?
  5. Um, no. I think it was pretty well established that the city was destroyed by the Stone Army prior to the Overlord's takeover. That's not to say that the Overlord did nothing but "evilify" it, but the majority of work was done on The Day NINJAGO Stood Still (lame pun ftw) One of the lines by Cole's father of Dareth as they quite literally kicked Kozu out of the Mojo Dojo implies it was already ruined. Not to mention that the scenes before that all indicated that NINJAGO city was in ruins. Regarding all that, "The Final Theory" stuff... it's just a hype machine. The same guy (if I recall correctly) also made the "Zane: Version Zero" theory. I almost laughed my head off when I first read THAT. And of course, the entire thing was completely baseless and surrounded the idea that Borg was a relative of Julien, or at least knew him somehow (the latter turned out to be true, but given the connection between Borg and Nindroids I wouldn't say that the former was baseless) and that there was an evil prototype of Zane or that Zane was evil once, hence the memory switch. If the Final Theory does update their blog as the episodes go along, then it's completely baseless other than for the leaked episode list. And for all we know, that entire list will change soon enough. I recall a leaked episode list mentioning Pirates, the Stone Army etc (and Jay and Nya having a kid ) last time NINJAGO was on air. It was a rough sketch of the plot. A lot was changed, but it wasn't completely baseless. As of yet I don't think and 8-episode season was confirmed (or denied, but I could be wrong). At this point it's just too early to tell the plot other than that the Overlord's going to do something. And he'll use a something to destroy the something and steal the something. That's all that's confirmed
  6. Saw Cap'n Crunch America a week ago. Gotta say, good movie, but a lot of the plot falls away when even the slightest pressure is added. It's good... Just not perfect. Saw Frozen. 'Twas good... ending needs work. Quite a bit, it seemed very forced.
  7. LEGO has uploaded a new TVC advertisement to the NINJAGO website, and surprisingly enough it departs from the typical "formula" LEGO has. The Ninjacopter (which is the vehicle getting built) is destroyed by the Mechdragon. Zane hacks the Mechdragon though, and thus the day is saved. Better if you watch it yourself, not too good at explaining stuff
  8. Very true, but the Serpentine have been bent on conquering NINJAGO from the beginning. The tomb had to be opened somehow, and someone had to inform the Overlord that the Ninja were there. And a diversion to prevent the ninja from rescuing Lloyd when Lloyd is probably on the other side of the planet (figuratively) by now?
  9. Except that one of the Serpentine has continually been being, "warlike," AKA Pythor. I have high doubts that the Serpentine are telling the truth simply because it would be a more blatant revision than the Mega Weapon not being remembered by Lloyd yet remembered by Skales and the other Serpentine. There's numerous quotes from different snakes that indicate it was the humans who locked them away. That was the entire reason they attacked NINJAGO City in the first place. Regarding NINJAGO Theories... good grief, if those are the correct episode descriptions then that clears up a lot of stuff. Question is, though... where's Garmadon?
  10. "We should have been the ones ruling the surface! Not you!" - Pythor "There will be nothing it won't consume!" - random snake in episode 10 All of Nothing Skales doesn't believe in legends. That's been pretty well established. He didn't believe the Great Devourer existed, or Ouroboros, or the Dark Island, and when they discovered the tomb of the Stone Army he claimed it was impossible that the image was referring to him. So he didn't believe even the two legends of the serpentine, why would he believe a third? Numerous quotes from Pythor state that the Serpentine were forced underground by humans, and Sensei Wu's flute practically confirms it. Don't forget how Fangtom stated that Lloyd had, "freed," them. The prophecy doesn't match up with what is already known, and already established. I doubt the serpentine would lock themselves in a tomb with only a button on the outside to let them out. The attack on the Stone Army's tomb couldn't have been a simple diversion, given how far away Lloyd and Garmadon were.
  11. I... don't believe the Serpentine really are being nice. What is being said doesn't correlate with what we know. The reason why Pythor wanted to unleash the Devourer was because the citizens of Ninjago locked them away. I doubt that the Anacondrai would willingly lock themselves in without a food source, though it would shed some light on how Pythor survived if they didn't have enough food when they locked themselves in. It's also made pretty clear that most of the Serpentine want revenge on humanity for it. The fact that the Overlord invaded the tomb with Nindroids indicated that someone other than the Serpentine knew they were there, and the serpentine have no intention of preventing the Golden Master from coming. Someone also had to break the seal on the tomb, and the serpentine were unable to do that. That being said, I do doubt that the Serpentine would ally with the one who caused them to be stuck inside the tomb in the first place. Still though, we'll find out later whether or not they are being true. But as Wu said, "never trust a snake."
  12. I don't believe so, but I haven't exactly been on a lot lately (family issues) so I wouldn't know.
  13. Already confirmed really, I knew about Nindroids but forgot to mention it. Still though, it's not entirely confirmed that he will play a big part just yet, but given the insane amount of evidence there already is regarding who, "The Stranger," is, it's unlikely not to be him.
  14. I think it would make more sense that Pythor would be the Minifig, considering he's already a big character, as he's most likely the one who
  15. Wrong, there were a few more tracks that haven't been uploaded yet. For instance, the music that plays during the scene were Borg explains to Kai what's (mostly) going on. In all seriousness though, looking back on how many plot holes there are in this season in comparison to Season 2... eh, it's better than the original Pilots, but it's pretty sub-par. (eg, only one power source in NINJAGO [which is going to be COMPLETELY redone in the next episode], Borg not explaining anything to Kai other than that the Overlord is back, and that he regrets building a tower. Also the "who uses wheels" comment only moments before the Thunder Raider shows up, not to mention Destructoid and the Samurai Car. Did I mention the absurdity of them losing the Elemental Blades, and the outright stupidity of the Techno Blades being the ONLY thing that can reboot the Master Computer?)
  16. I don't think that's a doctor's office... But something isn't right about that scene though. Zane's core isn't fully blue, only around a quarter of it is. And why he'd be just sitting there like that is beyond me as well. Perhaps this is the way PIXAL will come back, or maybe it's inside Jay's parent's new home (the Scrapyard has been "technofied", the Wu video shows it) and is the reason why Evil Wu showed up. Also, the character videos for all of the main characters are up now. By that I mean anyone who has been, or is a protagonist. PIXAL, Cyrus, Cryptor and the other Nindroids still don't.
  17. I only really like the first half of the song... after that, it becomes pretty... hype-y, to me. That's not to say it's bad, just... well, I don't like it
  18. Oh... now I see what he meant Sorry about that. But I doubt they'll use A-W-E-S-O-M-E anyway, because NINJAGO has had (other than last year) a new "song" each year. It'll be pretty late to use A-W-E-S-O-M-E by that point really.
  19. Your argument is that you asked 9 people if they would see a movie about NINJAGO. Let me guess, Facebook friends, perhaps? Nine people is no indication of 7 billion people. You say that you are not claiming, that no one is claiming, that the NINJAGO movie would flop and yet then you turn around and say that a maximum of 4 out of 9 people will go and see it, with a minimum of 2 out of 9. Do you not see the hypocrisy in your own statement? Go back two years ago and ask people if they would have willingly watched a movie about LEGO. Very few people would actually say yes. You're saying a movie due in around two years cannot possibly compare with one just released. Only the cast, producers, writers and the director have been announced. Not even a hint at the plot. So tell me, if you told nine people two years ago whether or not they would see a movie about a "Chosen One" that was actually a bumbling idiot who was in reality controlled by a young child with daddy issues, I'm sure you would get a very negative result. It's too early to make any claims just yet. Considering NINJAGO's current state, I can't actually say I would want to see a NINJAGO movie. Your own argument about two movies I haven't seen is also hypocrisy, because you're saying that a movie you haven't even seen couldn't possibly fare up to a movie you have seen.
  20. No, just no. "Everything is Awesome" was fine and dandy for TLM, but using that as part of NINJAGO would completely obliterate its two music requirements: 1) It must fit in with the NINJAGO style (look at Jay Vincent's works on Youtube, ever since Episode 11 NINJAGO's music has a clear style of it's own until episode 26), or at least techno in some way (too early too tell with that style) and 2) If not the former, must be the Fold. "Everything is Awesome" violates the bit about the Fold, and the song is dubstep, not techno. It's also going to be pretty ridiculous to have that song in NINJAGO anyway... Unfortunately, none in my area so far. I'll be sure to say if I spot it anywhere.
  21. We know the Hageman brothers made the script, we know Dan Lin and Roy Lee are producing it. Also, I just noticed Charlie Bean is directing it. My bad. I'll go correct that. I'd also like to take this moment to say that NINJAGO, when discontinued, if I recall correctly the LEGO customer support service recieved about 7,000 calls a day about it from parents for a while. Depending on interpretation of that data, I'd say a lot of parents wouldn't mind a movie coming out.
  22. edit: Charlie Bean is directing, my bad. Second, From: http://www.hollywood...ould-hit-681069 Third, do you pay no attention whatsoever to a brand? NINJAGO's fourth season of TV episodes has already aired, the main cast is more or less confirmed. The voice actors of Cole, Nya, Sensei Wu, Garmadon, Zane, Jay, Lloyd, Dareth and the Overlord will almost definitely come back, as long as said characters are in the movie. The NINJAGO movie is going ahead, do you research before arguing. According to the same article, a draft script has already been written for NINJAGO by the Hageman brothers (who made the story for the TV show), and they were also in the credits for TLM for creating the story. Fourth and finally, claiming that NINJAGO will be a flop already is premature (well, so is claiming the TLM sequel will be, hypocrisy ftw) especially when its being made by more or less the same people who made TLM. While TLM may have had freedom for its comedy genre of being able to explore every LEGO world, the NINJAGO movie has the easy route of massive pop culture references, references to things such as Clutch Powers, Power Miners (yes, the Cragglings count) and Japanese themes (which will likely make it sell better in Asian countries) not to mention countless stories that can be told NINJAGO has a very rich, complex and deep backstory not yet fully explained in detail. If someone told you ten years ago that in ten years time the demographic for My Little Pony would change from little girls to little girls + teenage/adult males you seriously wouldn't believe them. Just because something is far from a certain demographic means nothing, success is based on popularity and quality. NINJAGO has popularity among kids, which means the parents will come. If quality is up to par with, or above, TLM then parents will tell their friends, who will tell their friends and so on. NINJAGO has already broken out of its own demographics anyway, an estimated 30% of fans are girls. Don't assume the NINJAGO movie cannot compare to TLM just yet. I still haven't seen TLM, and I can see no possible way for them to pull off the "real life" aspect of the film. But I know they have, because I've read the reviews, and I trust those reviews. I suggest we move this argument to another thread.
  23. No, Season 3 actually had some good prophecies in it. But I don't see how a prophecy of a "golden master" makes sense, considering the "golden master" is clearly the Overlord and other prophecies stated that the battle with the Overlord would be the final battle with the Overlord. Granted, Cyrus did muck that up a bit, but at the end of the day unless there's a group of ancient Samurai Warriors trained in the art of Samurai-jitsu there's no one else who would have needed to make a prophecy about the Overlord.
  24. You're making it seem like the two movies will have the exact same audience, the NINJAGO movie won't be exactly like The LEGO Movie. And there is a way that the NINJAGO movie will do better. As it is, The LEGO Movie's sequel is shaping up to be a failure because Phil and Chris will be directing the NINJAGO movie, while some other duo will be doing the sequel. If the track record of Phil and Chris continues, it will be brilliant. As it is, we know nothing about the NINJAGO movie yet other than the directors and the actors (well, more or less, I doubt they'll make many changes if they do). But you're also discarding the entirety of NINJAGO itself anyway, NINJAGO is filled with pop culture and other LEGO line references, if pulled off correctly it'll be a gold mine of potential. I'm certain Galidor rules over most of that region (not to mention it deserves to be sealed off )
