I got my second "punk guitar player" from the collectible Minifig Series 4 recently so I decided to build a small MOC with it. After half an hour this little MOC came out. An amateur Garage Rock Band with some nice equipment, but not enough room for an audience. Maybe this will change in the future.Enjoy. General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Plissken replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
I liked the sets since the prelim pictures, but after these reviews I'm totally in love with them. Amazing, so much great new parts, torsos faces, hairpieces on son on. This is a fantastic new theme Great work Lego. -
Really impressive The amount of details is fantastic, great work. The only things that are still missing are a Ralph Fiennes and Brendan Gleeson Minifigs in the tower and a Colin Farrell fig in front of the building In Bruges

Congrats to all the winners. Some very genius builds in there

Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Holy Grail
Plissken replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in LEGO Licensed
These are really nice custom figures you have there. As for the set, it isn't altered enough for my taste but the execution is pretty good. Some nice DVD's btw -
Indiana Jones and the Romance of Venice

Nice and very romantic. Thanks for the instructions, I'll give them a try. -
Indiana Jones and the Sanctuary of the Enlightened One

This is really nice, a great revision of this classic set. It fits perfectly for Indiana Jones. Great work I also love those prayers flags. -
Another one. The new recruits are really distracting. Distracted by plisskeneb, on Flickr

Thanks everyone for the comments. Very appreciated. Yes it is, but Clones age faster and so their hair grows faster. Unfortunately he forgot his razor (I've got an silly explanation for almost everything ) I thought about this. At first I didn't include the helmet but the scene looked like something is missing. Finally I decided to put it in. Maybe it is part of the plan the trooper has to kill some Droids, or the battleground is so filled with dead clones that the droids don't care about a helmet. It's up to your interpretation.

First, great review WhiteFang. Second, I must admit that I think this series is the best so far. After the mediocre third series a new high for this collection. I'm looking forward to pick these up, at least two of everone.

A small vignette I build today. Enjoy. After days of battle on an ancient planet the trooper finds himself wounded in a wooden ruin. He is the only one left of his squad and he knows this place will be his grave. But he won't go without taking some of those droids with him. Outnumbered by plisskeneb, on Flickr

Thanks to all you guys for the feedback. Very appreciated. Thanks for the advice. I will change the roof a bit to make it wider, I already made it longer so that there is a overhang at the sides of the house. A few other changes can be seen now. Enjoy. The door at the top floor. It is still a stand-in. I'm not happy how it turned out so I will look for some other technics. Hunters Hut WIP 013 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Hunters Hut WIP 014 by plisskeneb, on Flickr The front door. This one is great (I think ) It opens really well and looks good. I will add a doorknob soon. As the first pictures of the NinjaGo Theme leaked last year, this set was the only one that appealed to me immediately. I knew that I would buy it if I stumble over it. Today was the day and here is my review of the set: 2259 Skull Motorbike Brickset Flickr Link Theme: NinjaGo Name: Skull Motorbike Set Number: 2259 Pieces: 157 Figures: 2 Released: 2011 Price: €14,99 First some shots of the Box and Content. "Only" two stickers in this set (I didn't apply them). 03 Instructions by plisskeneb, on Flickr Random Page (you can see where the stickers would go) 04 Random Page by plisskeneb, on Flickr The other content of the box, four polybags filled with gorgeous plastic 05 Bags by plisskeneb, on Flickr Some pieces of interest 06 Pieces of Interest by plisskeneb, on Flickr The Minifigs Jay, the blue ninja. Cool looking but pretty useless 15 Step 24 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Step 29 Some front details 16 Step 29 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Step 6 (yeah, thats right. Step 6. It's a submodel. Everything's still in order ) 17 Step 6 of the submodel by plisskeneb, on Flickr Step 33 More front details 18 Step 33 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Step 7 (another submodel) The front skull 19 Step 7 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Spare parts 20 Spare Parts by plisskeneb, on Flickr The completed model The Bike 21 Complete by plisskeneb, on Flickr Front 22 Bike Front by plisskeneb, on Flickr Back 23 Bike Back by plisskeneb, on Flickr The complete set 24 Complete w Figs by plisskeneb, on Flickr And now as a little extra a small demonstration of the mentioned action feature of this set. In this picture you can see the lever on the right side of the bike (left to the purple stud) 25 AF01 by plisskeneb, on Flickr The next step is to pull it back. The mechanism draws the chain and the front skull will rise. 26 AF02 by plisskeneb, on Flickr If you make these steps a little faster, the skull will come down at the front of the bike, smashing everything in his way. 27 AF03 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Rating Playability/Driveability: 8/10 The bike is great. It rolls very well, it is mean looking and the action feature works surprisingly well. Design: 8/10 Like I said before, the bike is mean looking and I like that. The build itself is nothing special but the mechanism of the action feature is simple and nice. Price: 9/10 I think it is a great value for the money you spend. Minifigures: 10/10 Jay and Chapov are very nice figures with cool prints. I like the new skeleton torso and the armor is great. Really outstanding is the helmet. If it isn't appearing in other sets of the next waves this set will get very wanted. Parts: 7/10 Some purple, some white, a short golden chain, the mentioned helmet and a lot of Technic parts. The feeling about this is a little mixed. Overall: 9/10 Pretty high I know, but I really love that bike. With a few modifications it would be perfect for Lobo (DC Comics character btw).

Here is my try. Indy x4 Four different outfits, surrounded by four flaming heads and four (different) animals. Enjoy. Indy x4 by plisskeneb, on Flickr

This is just great. Such as cool looking location. Could also be included in a space western . I love the blue flowers outside the bar and the many details inside are also nice. Really great work

Thanks for your reply. I added the front door and am now working on a door to the bedroom. The next thing is the interior of the basement. When there are some bigger changes I'll post new pics. I just noticed that this is the first MOC I'm working on longer than 3 days It is a lot of fun.

Thank you guys. I think I'll edit the first post when it is finished (the beginning/the end), or maybe like you said. I don't know at the moment but I'm thinking about it. The creature started out as a rabbit but for the lack of parts it turned out like this. Oh and btw I decided that it is a pet not prey I received a Bricklink order today and worked a bit on the MOC. Here are the results. Enjoy. Hunters Hut WIP009 by plisskeneb, on Flickr New overview shot. Added a small tree in front of the house, some vines, a horse, a small seat under the tree and the way to the ladder is almost finished. Hunters Hut WIP010 by plisskeneb, on Flickr The new windows. The back of the house got also two new windows (instead of the long narrow arch). Hunters Hut WIP011 by plisskeneb, on Flickr The road to the ladder with a small place to rest if it is to hard for you ;) Hunters Hut WIP012 by plisskeneb, on Flickr The bedroom is now completely tiled. You can also see the hole in the wall that connects the room with the chimney.

Thanks for the pictures. The speeder bike in the endor set looks What was wrong with the last design? Also the Dathomir Speeder doesn't appeal to me. the figures on the other hand are nice. Same for the Geonosian Starfighter. The bigger sets (Falcon, Frigate, Infiltrator, Pod Racers) look great. I like the fact that the Pod Racers have a tan base to simulate the ground. Is this a new hairpiece for Leia, r just the old one in a darker brown?

I can only repeat myself, really great shots everyone. Some of them are genius Her is a new one from me. I told you by plisskeneb, on Flickr

Thanks to all you guys for the comments, very helpful. Now some more detailed answers. I tried to use brown cheese slopes, but they don't fill the gaps as I whished. The tree on the other hand is some kind of placeholder. It will be redesigned if some needed parts arrive. I changed the window holes to fill them with arched frames in brown. Plants will be added later to the facade. Yes, it is a very unusual home for an elve. My intention was that he is the only one left (only one official Lego elf) and he took care of an abandoned house in the woods. He changed it to his needs and plant a "magic tree" (see the different kinds of fruit it carries) And now some new pics: Hunters Hut (WIP) 04 by plisskeneb, on Flickr New overview. Improved the roof, the front of it and changed the windows next to the door. Hunters Hut (WIP) 05 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Foldable Ladder to get to the upper floor. Hunters Hut (WIP) 06 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Back of the Hut with entrance to the Bedroom. The chimney is "connected with this room (brick with hole) to heat it up. The fireplace on the first floor needs to be moved to the correct position. Hunters Hut (WIP) 07 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Overview of the top floor. Some tiles are missing and will be added later. A small place with chest, weapon crate and comfortable bed. Hunters Hut (WIP) 08 by plisskeneb, on Flickr A small brick buildt creature. Maybe a magical pet or something to hunt. I'm not sure at the moment
