  1. Thank you very much guys.
  2. Name: Deep Sea Striker Number: 8076 Theme: Atlantis Year: 2010 Pieces: 259 Minifigs: 1 Price: € 19,99 BrickSet BrickShelf Found this Set yesterday in a near TrU. After building it I noticed that there is no review of it yet. So here is my take on this set. (Sorry, there are no pictures of the bagged parts and the loose parts) The Box It's a lengthy box which size and weight feels right for this price point. Instructions A small but thick book. Random Page Pieces of Interest Nothing special. Only the amount of some parts is very impressive. You got 10 white teeth, 12 black teeth, 6 red bulbs and 16 black (half)pyramid slopes. DSS I didn't apply the stickers. In my opinion, without the stickers the model looks a lot better. The Atlantis Manta Key Minifig The Torso and Legs are as usual. The two sided head seems new. I really like his scared face. Scooter A nice little vehicle. Nothing special, and against the giant scorpion pretty useless, I think. The Scorpion Torso Claws Head Mouth very nasty Tail Legs Complete He is very big. It's a little unbalanced. The Tail won't stay in place if it is posed to much forward. Scorpion without Tail and Claws Here you can see the pretty accurate pose of an angry Scorpion. The mechanics of the Tail. Turn the wheel and... ...ouch! The two stings hit really hard. There is enough space between them, so there is no way the Scorpion would accidentally hit his head. The complete Set (in a pretty dark picture) Spare Parts The usual suspects. Rating Set 8/10 I really like the Scorpion. He is a great model and looks pretty cool. His balance problems are easily fixed. Without the stickers he looks a lot more intimidating. The Scooter is nice but nothing outstanding. Playability 8/10 Like I said, the Scorpion is great and he can do much mayhem to your Divers. Parts 6/10 Nothing special, but it's great to get so much teeth in one set. Minifig 7/10 Usual Atlantis diver with a nice Head. Build 7/10 The Scorpion build is sometimes pretty repetitive, but the end product holds up very well. Again, the scooter is nothing special. Price 8/10 I payed €19,99 for the set. It's ok. It would be better if it was €5 cheaper (without Scooter) or € 5 more expensive (with a bigger vehicle). Overall 8/10 The 8 just for the Scorpion. I really like this guy. It's a much better design than the shark from the first wave. For Atlantis or Brickbuildt Creature Fans a must-have.

    Zombies!

I'm very happy with the new Collectible Minifigs. They are really great. With the continuous growth of my Zombie Army I decided to place them in a little vignette. So here it is. It's plain and simple, just using two of this for the bottom. The rest are all Minifig baseplates. And of course the brave Spaceman fighting of the Zombie pack Enjoy. I posted it here because of the Spaceman. If it's the wrong Forum, please feel free to move this topic.

  6. After this Video I think that some of the summer sets are way better than expected. The Cockpit of GG Starfighter looks much better now. Aayla is an improvement over the previous pictures. Even the Wampa looks ok now. I'm looking forward to hi-res pictures from next weeks ToyFair to make my final judgement.
  7. Wow. The Roman looks great, so does the Mexican. The Vampire is cool and I really like the new Ski pieces. All we need now is a look from the other side of the display
  8. 5th more Indy is always good
  9. Thank you for the nice replies. I will improve my pictures (lightning,...) for the next review.
  10. The sets look great. 2010 is going to be an expensive year. Two things I noticed, we get the Indy whip in a new shape and the face of the Prince looks very similiar to Indy's. Can't wait to add these to my collection.
  11. Your minis are incredible. Keep on the good work, I'm looking forward to see the next bunch.
  12. Yeah, you're right. I forgot to mention that it was a Promotional. I can remember that a few stores here in germany sold it regulary but in a limited amount.
  13. My first review, so be kind :) Bought this set in a second-hand store. The box was opened before and taped afterwards. The parts bag inside on the otherhand was original and sealed. Some facts: Name: Indian Chief Theme: System/Western/Indians Year: 1997 Pieces: 20 Minifigs: 1 Price: 2,-€ (second hand) Peeron Brickset Up to the review. Some pictures of the Box. Front: The completed Set Side: Another Shot of the Set Top: Relaxing Indian Back: Some different setups. First a hunt scene with pretty colorful Buffalo Second an eagle? Don't know what it supposed to be. Next the instructions. Twosided paper. Nothing special, same pictures like on the box. Pretty quick build. The Parts. The Minifigure. Cute little fella. Printed Torso and Legs. Cool Buffalo-Hat. Nothing special in the back. Weapons and Gear. Bow and Quiver in black, spear with feathers and cool looking shield. Complete Minifig. Ready to hunt or scalp someone. The other half of the Set. The Totem looks a little bit like a duck. Nice colorscheme, like realworld totems. Extra featherclip, pretty useful for details. Shot of the completed set. Summary Design: 10/10 for the Fig, 5/10 for the Totem makes a 7,5/10 for the set. Build: 5/10 Quick and Easy. Playability: 8/10 The Chief can command all of your indians or go dancing round the Ducktotem Price: 10/10 I got it cheap. If you can get it cheap, get it. Overall: 8/10 A great little set with great Fig and a funny looking Totem.
  14. Hello, I'm a long time reader and love this forum for information and inspiration. As a child I had tons of Lego, but a few years ago, in a very weak moment, I gave it all away (except a box full of black and grey bricks). I totally regret it in 2008. As a great Indiana Jones Fan I was happy to hear that Lego got the License. With the release of the first sets I got back into this hobby. Since then I formed a nice Collection of new and older sets across a lot of themes (licensed and original). I hope to have some good time here in this wonderful forum.
