  1. Thank you. Right now, when I look at the pic, I'm not satisfied how the look of the tooth pieces at the roof turned out. This needs to be improved at later MOC's.
  2. Very nice and creative ideas. The foot-soldier reminds me of the soldiers in Disney's Robin Hood. Well done
  3. Great new pictures everyone Another one from me, without words, just called "Buddy Vacation". Enjoy. Buddy Vacation by plisskeneb, on Flickr
  4. Photographing Lego (especially SW Lego) gets really addictive. I bought the new battlepacks today and thought that the mandalorian head resembles the brilliant actor Klaus Kinski. This would explain the name of the picture. Here it is. Enjoy. Commander Kinski by plisskeneb, on Flickr
  5. Very impressive, so many lovely details. I really like the roof. The new 2011 parts (dog, bone) are very useful. Good work.
  6. Warm with 90% humidity, like in a primeval forest
  7. Here is a quick vignette inspired by the 1999 dark comedy/horror/western Ravenous (I hope no one will be offended). It plays at an frontier military outpost in the middle of the 19th century. The myth of the Wendigo is an important piece to the whole story. Enjoy. At the end of winter the "cook" is preparing the meal while the captain is waiting impatiently for dinner. Eat to live. Don't live to eat. by plisskeneb, on Flickr
  8. Many great new entries, great work Another one from me. Weather Forecast by plisskeneb, on Flickr
  9. Thank you all for your comments. All parts are official. The printed piece in the cockpit says "Mission Deep Sea", it was available in the Alpha Team theme. As far as the mentioned printing goes, don't look to close at every detail
  10. Thank you all for the comments. The Gorilla is really a great and fun figure and one of my favorites from series 3.
  11. They look interesting, but I don't think a german seller will pick them up The more I look on the pics, the more I like it. I think I really need the 11 Doctors set
  12. Very impressive. So many lovely details. Great work Laureano. BTW where are these big tile pieces from?
  13. With two more Gorilla Minifigs I decided to create a little scene. It's loosely based on the Planet of the Apes. Enjoy. The Vicious General hunts down human scum and capture them to make them his working slaves. Joining him on his hunt is his trusty heavy bullwhip and his best ape. After a quick chase they captured their first prey. The human is sweating in fear, knowing what will happen to him. 14. Nice shots everyone. Here are a few of mine. Heroic Pose by plisskeneb, on Flickr Weapon of Choice by plisskeneb, on Flickr A painting style version of the first shot. Spalko Painting by plisskeneb, on Flickr A close-up shot can be found here: Flickr
  15. At first I didn't realize how massive this whole thing would be. At the last pictures I was really stunned. This totally looks amazing. Fantastic work
  16. Thank you guys. And for the torsos: You really should see my ostrich army
  17. Here is a quick build I did today. The color choice in the front was a little bit forced (lack of parts in yellow) but I tried to use it as a concept (like the grey stripe which ends on the engine). I didn't photograph the bottom because it's really ugly. Maybe I find something to improve it but for now this is the result. Enjoy. A small one-engined speeder with two seats and nothing more. It's made for fun, cruising down the streets of Coruscant or highspeed races over the wide deserts on Tattooine. 18. Fantastic work everybody, but I especially like the last one Clone O'Patra. Really great. Here is another one from me, not so "laugh-out-loud" funny but maybe it will bring a smile to some faces. Enjoy. Ladies Night by plisskeneb, on Flickr
  19. Great idea R5-N2, very nice
  20. Thank you very much for the nice comments guys. Really great new entries. Here is another one from me, had the idea for this last night. Enjoy. French Nails by plisskeneb, on Flickr
  21. Just create an account on Bricklink a few weeks ago. Since then I made two orders. The first only for minifigs, the second for a few different parts. At both orders I followed the same strategy. There was one part/fig I was looking for. I searched it in countries with my currency and then pick 3-4 stores with the lowest prices. After that I look around if the store offers something else which I'm interested in. Then I order at the store where I found the most interesting things. At the moment I think I will keep this strategy.
  22. Congratulations to the winners. And for the judges, you really choose wisely. These are awesome pictures.
  23. Thank you guys. Here is another one. Enjoy. 1st Official Republic WTS Contest by plisskeneb, on Flickr
  24. I repeat: Wow. What a great MOC. The features, the overall look, the hangar,... . I'm stunned. Or in other words: A great choice for a MOC you've made. Very unique it feels
  25. Really great and funny posts in here. I tried some myself, here are the results. Enjoy. The Wrong Guy Part 1 by plisskeneb, on Flickr The Wrong Guy Part 2 by plisskeneb, on Flickr Aayla's Day-Off by plisskeneb, on Flickr
