Nice. The Waterfall looks amazing, a design to remember. Great work. The goats and the birds are also lovely.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 poll
Plissken replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I voted for the Bio-Hazard personell. Overall I really love this new series and I think Number 4 is the best so far. The only thing I don't like is the hairpiece of the ice-dancer. On the first pic it looks great but on the second one it's looking pretty bad. Maybe it's better in person, just wait and see. -
General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread

After the video I think we can except a carriage (maybe two) in the "London Escape" Set. Nice. -
Today I bought two more copies of the Ostrich Race (40% off ). While sorting the parts I had an idea, build something only with the parts of these two sets. So I came up with a little fighting contest. Two contestants climb on the wooden stage and fight with their battle staffs. The one who falls of, lose. In the middle of the stage is a hole with wooden spikes and spears. In this case falling through the hole is the more dangerous way to lose. Enjoy. Note: Can a moderator please change the Topic Title? I forgot to finish it. It should be "[MOC] PoP - Fighting Contest". Thank you.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread

Blackbeard is the supposed villain in the fourth film, played by Ian McShane (Deadwood). The set descriptions sound very promising. Can't wait for pics. One thing that bothers me is: No Elizabeth Swan? EDIT: Oops, sorry. There seems to be an Elizabeth Swan figure in the "Isla de la muerta" set. My fault. -
This theme turns out really great. I like every one of the sets. Can't wait to find them in the stores. My new most anticipating theme at the moment.

This are really good news (Minifig Keira Knightley ) My guess for the sets are: Four sets for the new movie (like in the Indy line), so don't know what it could be. For the other four sets I would assume definitely a ship. The Black Pearl (BP) would be the first choice except it is planed for the forth film line-up. In this case I think it is going to be the Flying Dutchman (FD). Figures would be for BP: Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swan, Barbossa and one or two crew-mates. For the FD: Davy Jones, Bootstrap Bill, Jack Sparrow, maybe Will Turner and up to three additional crew-mates. Another set could be a Harbor Type. I would guess Port Royale or Shanghai. For Port Royale I think the Minifigs could be: Jack, Norrington, Governor Swan and one or two soldiers. Maybe with a part of the jail or an civilian house. Shanghai could have the following Minifigs: Sao Feng, two henchman, Elizabeth Swan and maybe Will Turner or up to two soldiers. Part of the harbor and the bathhouse. I really wish that the mill wheel battle gets a set. Includes Mill, wheel, maybe some landscape and Jack, Will and Norrington. Maybe Elizabeth or an random crew-mate. The small set could be the first fight between Jack and Will in the blacksmith store. Great possibility to get a donkey Includes Jack, Will and the Blacksmith or an more prominent Character (one of the soldiers or Norrington). Really sounds like wishful thinking, but maybe the first pictures will show up soon. -
Wow, this is great. I love Lost and your creations capture the series perfectly. The fourth one is my favorite, the van is fantastic. Also I like your method to make Hurley a bit bigger than the other figures. Good idea. At last a question, which head did you use for Locke? It looks pretty good, but I don't know from which theme it is.

There is: Death Race 2 But a theme only with cars isn't really appealing to me. On the other hand, minifig versions of Jason Statham and Sean Bean would be fantastic.

"The Hobbit". After years of struggle they are finally making it. Oh, and Peter Jackson is directing again. With the release of Avatar 2 and 3 (2014 + 2015) Lego sets would get enough support to be successful (crossing fingers)

Thanks for the nice review. I bought this set today for a discount price. I paid 32€ and I must say it is really worth every cent, but the full price would be a little bit too much. The mechanism of the cockpit is great and I like the new Grievous. The Mon Calamari is nice, too. The overall design and the build of the ship is nice.

I bought the three smaller sets back in April and was really pleased with the great parts, figures and overall look. Two weeks ago I got Race against Time and Battle of Alamut on clearance. Alamut is an amazing set. It would be really nice if the theme would go on but after watching the movie I don't think there is much potential for more sets.

Return of the Creature
Plissken replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That looks fantastic. Captures the feel of the movie really well. The minimates Creature is amazing. I need to find one of them for myself. Great work -
Very nice review. I received the set last thursday. I really like it. The minifigs are great and the details in the inside of the hut are amazing. I don't mind the design of Aragog, it's ok for me. Overall I think it is a little expensive (I paid 49,99€). 40 - 45€ would be enough in my opinion.

Nice creation and very clever design. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations to all the winners. Awesome work you've done there

Thanks for the comments and thank you for moving the post in the right forum. I will keep it in mind when I post another MOC without clear Theme affiliation.

This is great. Very good idea to make figures for the manga adaption, very original. I like Leias face. Are you going to make some others (Ep I,V or VI)?

I hope this is the right place to post this little vignette. Build this an hour ago. Enjoy. A resistance fighter in his storage part of his hideout. He has a few weapons left, so anybody wanna join? And an old postcard style version of the picture.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Plissken replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The Torso Print of the sumo guy is ok, but it is still the lamest figure in my opinion. I like the pilots torso, very useful for WW II Pilots. The baseball bat is fantastic. -
Thanks again. The sets look very nice. It's a pity there is only one real building. A few more ruins (not just columns) would have been great. But otherwise the Atlantis theme is still amazing. It gets better with every wave. I hope it isn't the last one.
-
Another thank you. I'm really in love with this theme. They all look great. Fantastic new molds and torsos. My favorite theme so far for the next year.
-
Thank you. The space sets doesn't appeal to me. I don't like the design of them. But nice to see the Atlantis column piece in gray and Malfoys hair in black. The Police sets are also not my type, looks like the old ones. I will only buy the small minifig set just for the crowbar and the new dog mold, oh and the money tiles

The Tank like vehicle looks interesting. But the package of the Figure/Card packs is bad
