LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Plissken replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Bought my first 12 packs yesterday. I tried to feel the figures and choose 10 figures this way. Then I picked up 2 packs randomly. Back at home I searched for the dots/bumps and didn't find any. After I opened the packs I looked again and found some bumps, almost invisible. It would last forever if I try to identify the figures in the store this way. So for this series it's "touching" for me -

These early set pics looks great. Can't wait to see the final figures. I especially like the London escape set, nice house, two great carriages and brown horse. Top set -
Sorry for Doublepost. A new one. Not really a MOC but after buying a few of Series 3 Minifigs today I gave Indy a new jacket. And what's a flightjacket without a plane in the picture? Here is a photo Indy send to his Dad. Enjoy. Indy - Learn to Land by plisskeneb, on Flickr

Thank you for the comments. I'm going to play around with the diary look for some future MOCs. I already have some ideas in mind.

Greenland 1941 After months of research Indiana Jones finally found the Hall of Thor, the last resting place of Mjolnir. The hall lies in ruins on a snowy mountain. Several dead bodies covers the floor. These poor souls tried to protect the hammer. Until now they were successful, the Hammer is still there. Thors Hall by plisskeneb, on Flickr Bonus Picture: Indiana's diary entry with a little more backstory. Enjoy. Diary Entry by plisskeneb, on Flickr Alternate pictures here and here.

Really great shots. The pictures made me think I have to take Lego Indy everywhere I go, just in case . Great work.

Thank you guys for the comments and the advice. I took a few other shots and decided to use a group shot from an different angle and a little bit of altered colors. I updated my first post with the picture. Hope you enjoy it.

Is it possible to change the entry pic for an improved version? I didn't find any rule about it so it should be possible, am I right? I just ask to be sure. Thanks in advance.

It's Christmas Time and Luke cannot wait to open his gift from Obi-Wan. May it be a lightsaber he wished for so long? In the meantime Han and Leia take advantage of the mistletoe and Chewie is still decorating the Christmas Tree (with some unconventional decoration ) It is a good time. Mr. Gray is right. Barbossa will have a wooden leg in the new movie. I didn*t find an actual screenshot but a behind the scenes one with Geoffrey Rush sporting a blue sock over his leg (for digital removing) Blue Sock. When there is a Barbossa in a Movie 4 Set it should have a peg leg. The longer I think about this line the more excited I get. Can't wait for pics. -

A lot of snow came down last night so I took a few more shots. The first shot was taken with a flash. It looks almost like an indoor shot. The other three are shot with natural light. Enjoy. On patrol. Up the hill.

Thank you. I added links to pictures of the outfits. Thanks for the tip. I just noticed that I put the beret in the opposite direction. Will fix this if I take more pictures. -
Nice review Blackknight112. I really like this set. The new pistols are great and I can really use some of these helmets.

Thank you guys. Here is a new "old" one. Rumble in the Jungle.

After watching the movie I was looking to build a Lego version of Barney Ross. I really try to only use official Lego Parts for such creations so I was a little bit limited what I could choose. Here is the first attempt. Ross in his tactical gear. The torso choice isn't perfect butI think it fits the character well. He is carrying his assault rifle and his colt. Click for screenshot The next one is Ross in his casual outfit. Armed with his 9mm Pistol. Click for screenshot Enjoy.

Wow, really good work. I stumbled upon this game in the last season of "Lost" and found a version online. It is a really fun game, simple but great. You did an amazing job in recreating this game in lego.

I wanted to share some pics of my Indy creations I build since 2008. I'm starting with the newest one. Enjoy. Indy explore some ancient ruins as he discovers a golden staff. Only problem is, it is the shape of a snake. Can Indy defeat his fear? Now some old builds. Sorry for some blurry pics, my camera wasn't that good back in these days Enjoy. Many Dangers.
