Thank you all. I can't wait for the official sets, too. I hope this scene is depicted one way or the other :D

It's alway a pleasure to look trough this thread. Very funny indeed. Here is an idea I finally visualized. Enjoy.

Thank you very much. I'm curious if this scene will get an official set next year.

My first MOC in a long time and it was a lot of fun Since the Jurassic World trailer hit last week I am excited for this new entry in one of my favorite movie series. A lot of cool scenes were shown but I think the last shot of Chris Pratt riding a motorbike alongside a pack of raptors was the most memorable. Here is my version of this scene. Its simplified (only two instead of four raptors, daylight instead of night, just two examples ), but I think it captures the scene very well. Enjoy.

Maybe there is a colour difference for female and male Raptors? Or wild and tamed? I think there will be an explanation for the differences. On the other hand I like the variety this colours give for MOCs. As for new molds, I think the Mosasaur will get some new pieces. The animal seems to be very prominent in this movie.

Lego Action Themes Photography Thread
Plissken replied to LuxorV's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Necropost, but maybe this thread gains a little bit of life again. The Dino sets were great and the figures fun to play with. Here is a "camouflage" picture :) Hunted Hunter Old School picture: Big Game Hunter -
Long time, no post :D Some very cool photos to find in here. Great work guys Here is a shot I took a few weeks ago. Indy is still one of my favorite lines.

The D-Rex looks great. If the look remains the same in the movie, I'm happy. The use of the old molds for the Rex and the Raptors is totally okay for me. The Dino line molds were heavily inspired by the Jurassic Park dinosaurs. It's logical to use those molds for a Jurassic Park line.

A great thread to fill with life, even in 2014. Here are two ideas I realized today. Enjoy. -
Disney got the right for all future Indiana Jones films.http://www.digitalsp...-paramount.html Maybe LEGO will renew their license if a new Film or Series is on the horizon

Wow. Thank you for the pictures. This theme seems to become very strong. Nice selection and color choices. I'll buy the Merida and Arielle sets. The tower set looks good too and I think to get this at well. Both Cinderella sets look nice but they don't match my taste. Maybe this changes till the final pictures. As I said, thanks for the pictures EDIT: Little Pascal is a nice addition. Really great to see this little critter in the Tangled set. I also love the three brothers. Good to get all of them. I hope the Arielle sets get new molds for Sebastian and company too.

I'm really happy with this announcement. There are endless set opportunities and with some clever designs LEGO can get around the more adult themes of the show. A few weeks ago I read a rumour that the second collectible Minifig series next year will be entirely Simpsons related. Would be great (and opens the way for more licensed Minifig Series).

Better him than Jack Black (as was rumored many years before Green Lantern got his Live Action Film).

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine
Plissken replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's a bit disappointing. The store flyer for this month says the set is available in stores and S@H on July 18th. Something must have changed this initial release plan. -
Review Review: 21103 Back To The Future Time Machine
Plissken replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the review. It is a great set with an overall satisfying look. Not perfect but close in my opinion. I hope the set will go online at S@H today, can't wait to get it in my hands :)- 207 replies

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine
Plissken replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
Okay, this turned from quite underwhelming to a must have set. The Minifigs look great and I love the 1x2 tile depicting the time machine computer. I hope its printed. The possibility to build the various forms of the car is also a great touch from LEGO. Can't wait to get this set in my hands. -
I was speechless at first. Wow, really great details and so many iconic scenes packed into this one playset. The price is high but in the end it's a must have for a Star Wars collector.
