It's listed as sold out on S@H in Canada before Christmas Day. Target had a big discount on them. Unfortunately, my local Target store didn't have any Lone Ranger sets at all. :(

That looks familiar for some reason. Maybe then price of the current red passenger train will go down.

Happy New Year! Choo-choo

Why not? I'm thinking about entering for fun. It could be more challenging if contestants from different countries are randomly teamed up.

Sell 8043 for 42009?
dr_spock replied to junglistjoey's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
How badly and quickly do you need the money for the 42009? Anywhere else in your budget you can trim and save over time for the 42009? I think the crane will be around for a year or two. -
Bricks and Pieces at Lego
dr_spock replied to Lakop's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
There were Technic turnables at one time. I should have grabbed more. -
I know im an AFOL but i still expect some LEGO under the tree for me &
dr_spock replied to LEGO Family's topic in Community
I don't ask for Lego but receive Lego nonetheless. The good thing about Lego presents is if I don't like the gift, I can part and sort it into my loose pieces collection bins. Some of it eventually ends up in a MOC. -
Welcome to Eurobricks. The Unimog is a fun one to build and make implements for.

Looks great with the non-Lego tires. What kind of rims did you use? It would be funny if the mortar shoots.

Welcome to Eurobricks. Happy searching.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you need a second 8110 unimog for parts.
-
Interesting idea. Have you had a chance to build a physical working model of it?

Excellent factory for those "two horses". Like your old school CRT screens in the office.

Question regarding Power Functions Motors
dr_spock replied to Paperballpark's topic in LEGO Train Tech
You can put both motors on one channel (red or blue) for easier control. Depending on the motor's current draw, a V2 IR receiver may or may not be necessary. I think for L motor you may need to use the V2 IR receiver if you want to connect two L motors to the same channel. You may not not need a polarity reverser depending on how you mount the motors and geared the drive train. I used a M motor in my AEM-7 and just plunked it through the floor. I ended up replacing it with a PF train motor as I needed the M motor for a Great Ball Contraption module. I think it is easier to use the PF train motor unless you have special needs. -
I don't think any of the i-devices have built-in IR. There are 3rd party IR devices that can connect to the headphone jack to remote control your TV, DVD, etc.

LOL. Minidolls even expanded into the Disney Princess licensed theme. I think they are here to stay for a long while. Maybe you can get the Friends involved in some sort of moral scandal with a Sith Lord or some shady bounty hunter then TLC can't support them any longer.

Adults not allowed! - LEGOLand Discovery Centres
dr_spock replied to happymark's topic in General LEGO Discussion
This is a known policy and has been discussed before in this thread: www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=75760 I guess Merlin Entertainment has made it global policy. There is always adult nights if you wish to attend and enjoy without being surrounded by screaming kids. It is quite loud with kids around. -
Good work sqeezing it all in.
