You can have as many projects going as you want. It gets a bit more complex if you have many projects going at the same time. But they can be managed using project management principles and concepts. Those come in handy if you're leading a collaborative build project with many builders and deadlines.

They are probably aware and may consider it acceptable wear and tear as toys tend to get beaten up when children play with them. They may see play value of jump flying figs more important than collector value for their target audience.

Maybe Ideas team only has the authority to reject submissions that don't meet the basic House Rules like violence, alcohol... If it gets to 10K review, then they involve the other departments like legal, IP licensing, production, marketing, etc. Labour costs for that skill set may be too costly to review every submission right off the bat.
