  1. 12 axles may not be enough for a mobile harbour crane.
  2. It is brains they want. Nice build, very bley.
  3. Nice place to work? What happened to the TGV Poste trains? What do they look like inside?
  4. Or control power to banks of IR receivers and multiplexed motors.
  5. It is fantasy castle, maybe some Howl's Moving Castle. Not a theme I would be interested in collecting at this time. I await the EB reviews.

  7. I think there was a topic a long long time ago. Besides signature, you can also put in your user profile.
  8. Welcome aboard, Loong.
  9. Tempting it may be but I mind my own business unless they ask for help.
  10. Depending on what you want to do, you don't need many sets. When I first got back into LEGO, I bought a few small to medium Technic sets and that was enough to build other small to medium sets out of them following the online PDF instructions. The colors may not match but I was more interested in building techniques. Then LEGO started having new parts each year which made it harder to do without buying new sets or pieces. Athough an attempt can be make to do some creative substitution if money is tight.
  11. Excellent build and pillage.

  13. I suppose it could be posted there too but my mind was busy trying to get out of a creative block. Day 282 of 365: Creative Concrete Block by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  14. Hinge bricks swing quite freely. Hinge plates have more friction and are stiffer.
  15. It should be more white to hide on the planet Hoth. Also it is a good starting point for a LEGO Friends version of the Falcon.
  16. wands,
  17. Images: Don't post images that are over 1,024 x 768 (or 768 x 1,024 for pictures with a portrait orientation) or are LEGO confidential. Images rarely need to be over 800 x 600, and any that are over 1MB (including GIFs) are not allowed unless there is admin approval. BMPs are never allowed. Avatar images should be 100 x 100 (and under 20k if hosted on EB), and may not be more than 400 x 400 (and 100k, even if hosted remotely). No animated GIFs are to be used as avatars. Before registering, please familiarize yourself with these tutorials to learn how to reduce your own images. Also, when quoting, don't quote images unless it is specifically needed. This just fills up posts with repeat images for no reason. If you find an image of a new LEGO set and it is incredibly blurry or stamped "Confidential", it is a leak-please don't post it here. If you are uncertain, PM a member of the staff for guidance and include a link to the questionable material.
  18. Thanks Peppermint_M and VintageLegoEra. That is very useful info.
  19. There are many ways to do it. I did this a day shy of exactly 4 years ago. It's a droid arm clipped to the door and antenna on jump plate.
  20. I think if it gets re-released, it won't be exactly like the one before. It'll have whatever building techniques, colors and parts at the time.
  21. Nice build. The red and yellow reminds me of ketchup and mustard with Oscar Meyers hotdogs. Could this be the start of an intergalatic food fight with Kai?
  22. Aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I think by Phred for my Speak Like A Pirate Day MOC: Speak Like A Pirate Day by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
