3mm rigid hose comes in flat silver if you don't mind cutting to 3L and hole in the middle. Maybe that flat silver 1 x 6 x 3 bar with 4 studs from Optimus Prime can be cut into 3L pieces?

Determine the cost of the damage and lost parts. The cleaning company should be bonded and insured to cover damages. Always use parking brakes or wheel chocks when working on vehicles.

Since it is a manual process, you could end up with a bundle of four if the picker packers weren't trained properly or had their morning coffee.
-
That's good to know the packer will unbundle the tracks when less than multiple of fours.

Tape. It's easier to cut with my knife. Punch needs more slices with my knife. I don't use the punch tabs to open them.

You can try making a mold of the old silicone buttons and then casting new silicone buttons with it. The tricky part will getting the conductive carbon embedded into it. -Model the buttons in a CAD program and 3D print them in soft flexible TPU plastic. -Find a dead Microscout on eBay for cheap and salvage the buttons. People leave batteries in them and the batteries leaked and ate the traces off the circuit board. -Grab an old TV remote and cut out the silicone buttons to fit the microscout

That's going to cause some AFOLs strong trademark headaches. Maybe some aspirin might help?. Didn't the USA seized the Bayer-Mayer's Aspirin trademark and it was degenerated? You could write to your representative in the US Congress. -

That'll work if the user has PU hub. What if they need to re-invent the wheel for their particular controler?- 578 replies

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff

Crazy thought, if you use PU, you could read the rotation sensor in the PU motors. Knowing each motors' RPM at any moment and the circumference of the wheels, you can determine the speed difference between the loco and the tender and adjust the PWM to one or both motors so the speed match. Kinda like the ABS/traction control system in your car.- 578 replies

How would you decouple the cars by hand? Hold one and pull/push the other one away. Reproduce that action without human parts. I guess decoupling can be thought of as breaking covalent bonds by mechanical means. -

Nice video and captioning. Have you ever considered adding another turntable at the other end of the line? -

It is not quite 42053. The mounting of the top cylinder on the arm is different. It might be fun to add a working claw to 42053. -
Good work. Very realistic.

Nice MODs to the Bluebrixx set. It would be too funny if the BB set was cloned with all LEGO pieces. I made a simple jig to cut down flanges without a lathe. Manually turn the train wheel by hand and be mindful where your fingers are in relation to milling bit. It is quick and dirty.

Nice. How many optical sensors are you using? -
Would adding a plate to the bogie of the coaches using the chassis to bring them up 1 plate higher be an option?
