  1. We know much of what's going on in these mines. This probably ain't something you're keen on hearing, but we are what's going on in these mines. The attacks on the Duplovian base, the slaughter in the Troll's den, that was all us. And a mighty fine mess you've made, pal. That's the plan! 'Course I can't tell you the whole plan, because you folks seem set on stopping it. If you don't mind. Look, Archer, you can give up now or- Ha! I hardly think so. You're in my territory, remember?   2. That crossbow looks pretty nice. I'll take it if no one else does. So are we done here? Luke, you should tend to Sir Leonard if you can.
  3. Personally, the Pirate Ship was a great set. Would I rather have Minas Tirith? In a heartbeat. That doesn't make it a bad set. The boat itself is pretty cool, but I don't have very many boats so I'm not the best judge of that. You get the Three Hunters, so if you haven't been an avid collected that's a good place to pick them up. You get the Oathbreakers, which are amazing figs and a cool addition to the collection, you get more Orcs, and a Corsair of Umbar. It's a pretty wide variety of cultures represented, which I love. The Goblin King set is pretty cool, but the price is steep. If you're looking to collect all the dwarves it's essential, as Nori, Dori and Ori are only in this set. It also represents a pretty memorable scene both in the book and the movie. If you have it, the set looks great with the Orc Mine set, resulting in an amazing display piece once the dwarves and goblins are crawling all over it. I, personally, would go for the Goblin King out of the two because you complete your dwarf collection, but the Pirate Ship is still a great set if you can pick it up later.

  6. Well then. It seems we have similar goals. Tim and I set out a while ago to stop this nonsense. We didn't make it very far before we were attacked by mercenaries. That's always a nuisance. This here? It's their staging base. Your map probably doesn't show it, but the mine splits off in two forks from here. Far as I can tell, they've got something up at the end of one of those passages. That's not all. Well 'couse it ain't. Nothing's ever that simple. Far as I can tell, these mercs have a rival group of something down here, I don't know anything about them, but the merc leader seems pretty concerned with them. Do you think this other group would be a help? Ha ha! Do I look like a guy who knows? I'm just a miner who was chained up. I don't know the first thing about mercenaries.

The heroes continue down a long, dark hall. They find a glow at the end of the path and pick up the pace. Once they reach the end they find an almost decrepit mine base, with two men tied up in it. Oh, great. Looks like the mercs have hired some new meat.

  18. The only set I skipped out on was the Wizard Duel set, mainly because I already had Orthanc and the only difference was the Eye of Sauron piece.
