  1. A good example is Iron Man 3. It used elements of the Extremis arc, but did not adapt the arc itself in any way shape or form. Extremis wasn't even what Stark used for the Mark 42, it was... something else. That said, the Extremis parts of Iron Man 3 definitely could have been done better, but it's a good example of them taking the core essence of an arc without the whole thing. The core essence of Civil War is an issue divides the heroes and they come to blows. That, in the end, is what's necessary.
  2. Sounds good to me. I fire at the Warlock from the back row.
  3. A shame. So much for the easy way. William takes a few hits, but the other heroes press on with the fight. Thalion, Siercon and Dovanna lead the fight, while Alexander fires a deadly shot that nearly kills one of the Mercenaries. Quellir is encouraged by the sight of the heroes fighting, and prepares for the next round. 4. I figure they will advertise a lot of the new movies - things like Thor 3 and Cap 3 are guaranteed sells, but movies such as the Inhumans will need more advertising. I figure we'll get at least once set for each of the new movies, something along the lines of the Battle of Smallville set, which gets across a large part of the climax fairly well.
  5. There's also the fact that the Amazing Spider-Man movies just aren't compatible with the MCU. They deal with two completely different situations where superheroes become known. In the MCU, the battle of New York is clearly the first time this is seen, where in the ASM movie it's clearly the Lizard storming through New York. You can't have both.
  6. Interesting. I know a long time ago it was announced as part of Phase 2, but was moved back. I wonder if this means it'll fall up on Age of Ultron in some way.
  7. For once, Thalion, I sincerely hope you are wrong. Ha, I'm always ready for a good fight. Excellent. The heroes whip around, and find men who are surely the mercenaries blocking their exit. Now I hate to leave a mess... But we also hate loose ends. Now this is nothing personal, so just stand still while we kill you, alright? 8. Like I said, they seemed to be Delfrin Mercenaries, by their armour. I don't know who hired them, or why they're here, but they seemed interested in keeping their identities secret - they wore balaclavas and dark clothes. 'Kept asking me about troop movements and security of the mines, and Duplovia itself. I think they're trying to get the timing on something exact. Whatever it is, they're doing it soon.
  9. It's time to rain justice on the Dread Pirate. I'm ready. Sounds almost like one of the older Chaos Beasts. A good fight, those awful things put up.
  10. Captain Marvel starring Carol Denvers? Best news all year! This whole list is full of amazing news. A bit funny to hear Black Panther was cast before Strange. I wonder if that means he'll show up in Age of Ultron?
  11. It was, but reports have sparked up again that he's in final talks with Marvel. I haven't heard anything official, though.
  12. On the bright side, hopefully that Minotaur means the last of those blasted Pongcanis soldiers. Despicable creatures. They claim to have honour, but it's just a twisted excuse for more bloodshed. They're little better than those Chimera machines.
  13. You bet he is. This is none other than Korr Dovanna. Here I was beginning to think you'd wasted your training and gotten yourself killed. Pfft. Hardly. You've hounded me more than any enemy could ever hope to. That's the spirit. Thalion uses his abilities to melt through the bars, freeing Dovanna. When I was chosen to lead the search party, I wasn't expected half as much trouble as we got. We found the Duplovian camp scatter-brained and crazy. They didn't even notice us. It was pretty bad. We met up with the Delfrin search party, and according to Lachterson their camp was holding up a lot better. We were investigating one of the western caverns together when suddenly we were ambushed. There must have been at least a dozen of them, came out of nowhere. Delfrin mercenaries, if I had to guess. I went down fighting them, but I never saw what happened to Lachterson. When I woke up, I was here and they were beating me for questions.
  14. The whip is definitely nice, I reckon you need it more than I.
  15. The lighstaber piece was created for Star Wars, and has been used in more sets than I can think of. As a more recent example the Mjolnir piece has been used a few other places. This is to say nothing of hair pieces, like the piece which originated as Mutt's and has spread to one of the most common hair pieces.
  16. As the conversation wraps up, Thalion and William begin to dig. Thalion finds a Silver Ore and Williams picks up a Gold Bar. Farewell, Shagcorkh. We'll get to the bottom of this, don't worry. Goodbye, heroes! The heroes make their way out of the Norgh Camp and across to the small cavern. Inside they find what seems to be a significantly sized base. At first no one can be seen, but after a short time they hear someone yelling from within. Is that... They rush towards the heart of the base, were they find a Duplovian commander in what seems to be a prison cell. Took you all long enough.
  17. I do not know, I was not the one who saw them. They weren't miners, that's for sure.
  18. I do not know, but some are said to have seen strange people coming from there.
  19. Those still worried about the Agents of Shield ratings, Marvel has stepped up their game and announced that instead of the trailer, an 'exclusive scene' will be shown during the air of the episode. I'm guessing this will be the scene shown at Comic-Con.
  20. On them they all bear a symbol. It's... I don't know how to describe it. It is a symbol of man, not of the Norghs.
  21. Wow that was bad. Yeah, I think autorolling would be fine.
  22. Wait, why exactly are we out of range? We aren't using melee weapons, and there's no tall defenses between us.
  23. The Masked Men believe otherwise, and what they say seems true. They say that we are only being used. They say that the peace is an unsteady one. That we will be pulled into the war if it comes back. With the Masked Men, we will have peace. They give us supplies and tools, and will give us a better life in their land. What is any ladder for? To reach higher.
  24. Doubtful. The trailer got a lot of hype, and they can still release in with Agents of Shield. It's not like it hurt the attention, and it was going to go online right after it aired anyways. Leaking it had nothing to do with Agents of Shield, it had everything to do with someone getting the file and leaking it. It won't affect Disney's plans or any Star Wars release trailer, which we won't be getting for a long time anyways because it comes out next December, over a full year from now.
  25. No, no - men, not man. Many Marked Men. Yes, yes, up the main mine shaft they went. I don't know what he's talking about any more than you do, Alexander. Hey, Norgh! Yes? Tell us more about these Marked Men you keep going on about. They help us. They promise us freedom from working in the mines. But first we help them. We make new tunnels for them. We help them make the great ladder. The Marked Men are very helpful, so we are helpful in return.
