Heroica RPG - Quest #53: Chaos in Eubric
The Legonater replied to Zepher's topic in The Heroica Archive
As I wait for a reply, I help Arthur back up How are you? You looked pretty beaten up when Alexis went down. Are you going to be alright? -
Knowing Arthur, that may have been the point.

You know, if this is real, this may just be the first UCS set I get. It would certainly make up for the relatively lackluster wave.- 7,499 replies

I've started re-reading Quest 19 today. Man, I didn't remember Dyric being so angry and threatening . I'd label it as just some OOC due to it still being an early character, if it weren't for the fact that it works surprisingly well with character arc I realized during Rone's discussion with McColt earlier in 53. It's kind of amusing how things like that work out.

Gnash, I might be able to hook you up with a trainer. There is always the unfortunate cost of payment, however. I hail from Duplovia, the shining city across the sea. I've never been to Dastan before, however. How is it? -
Do you mean will someone die on a quest through time to find a whale to stop the brilliant Christopher Lloyd from dooming Earth with the Genesis project? No. No such luck. At least, I should hope not. Those having Christopher Lloyd in another time travel movie would be amusing in itself. I merely think that J.J. Abrams is intentionally nodding back to the original 'reality' and films. It's kind of interesting to see the two timelines echoing themselves, actually.

I probably shouldn't. I've had a knack of getting knocked out a lot. Just ask Haldor or Skrall here, they'll tell ya. -
Happy New Years, all!

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

Agreed. Trebor has been a character I've liked since Episode II came out, even though he was just one of those bit pieces, but he's an unlikely fig. -

Sometimes, I say softly. It is not about protecting the ones we love, but the one who can't protect themselves. Often... often those we love are sacrificed in the process. I look away, a flash of old pain coming back and hitting me hard. -

It sort of looks like they are using one of the old Nazgûl figs as a prelim for the Mouth of Sauron on the actual box art.- 7,499 replies

Well, that was interesting. Gnash, are you okay? It seems you get hit and go down each battle. You could probably use a trainer. I happen to know one. -
I wouldn't say that. Although there are some clear similarities (the hands on the glass pane, for example) it's clearly not a direct re-make. I don't remember San Francisco under fire in Wrath of Kahn, or the Enterprise crashing into the water, although it has been a while.

I've got to agree with Mr Man, I found Bombadil tedious at best. I did like how some of the themes he brought up were echoed in Treebeard in the movie, though. That's something I love about Jackson's movies- many of the things that were left out are usually touched at, at the very least. The Barrows did seem like a pretty fun sequence, as was the whole arrows firing back and forth on the Andurin.

I nod solemnly to Arthur. I just hope you aren't getting your personal feelings in the way of the battle, Regulus, that is if you have any. I use a Pheonix Essence on Alexis from the back. -
I don't mind them

Not entirely true. Although he may have thought of it for the Warg Attack, the original Oaken Shield idea was present in the appendices.- 7,499 replies

It doesn't help when some heroes were dirt-poor when they arrived at Heroica I've always imagined Dyric being that one guy who just kind of sleeps in a chair, feet up on his table anyways. No idea why, though.

I nod to Skrall, and fire an arrow at Bombster B from the back with my bow. -
I'll go on another one if your quests if only for the shields you keep rolling me

That's one of those infernal machines destroyed I say, pulling another arrow. Time for a few more. Someone, get on that second abomination, it looks pretty weak from where I'm standing. Are those Bombsters still at full health? Blast! What nonsense is that? And who ever said that assassin's don't get any gold!?! I fire at Guard H from the back with my bow. -
My Hama is in a really weird place. He's in Edoras, wedged between the side of the wall and the cliff leading up to the Golden Hall, and thus he's constantly trying to climb up it, which is an all but impossible task for him. Really don't know what to do.

Chimera Guards!?! What are these abominations!?! What sort of coward sends machines to kill!?! I attack Guard C from the back with my bow. -
Don't worry, it already is!
