  1. Right, right, right. Blasted undead keep messing me up. I target Zee instead of B.
  2. I attack Recent Deads A and B with the Cat O Nine Tails from the Back.
  3. Gah, misread the battle orders. Getting more confused by the minute.
  4. Neither. Negotiations can be made with anyone. My plan was to negotiate the transfer of this spire to us while she went to find another. Of course, we are already taking most of the spires, it'd be her loss, and our gain. Also, it's just a tad difficult to discuss a plan when you're off being Leroy Jenkins! I don't use the Nostrum on Atramor, and instead attack Zee with the Cat O' Nine Tails.
  5. See a good plan, save for the fact that- as Atramor said- I can't have my Aqua Gear and Lucky Die equipped at the same time
  6. Gah! There goes one major advantage. I switch out the die instead.
  7. Sorry, sorry. Blasted undead throw me off game. And Thothwick, if you mess with another one of my plans... I give Atramor a Remedy, and switch my Sticky Gloves out for Aqua Gear. From the back row.
  8. So, when the Apothecary party is done, can they come help us? If we're still alive, that is?
  9. In light of this revelation, my face turns very pale. Thothwick, you just had to mess up my plan, didn't you? I use a potion on Atramor and a grand potion on Ancient A from the back.
  10. We also have a lucky, hastened Assassin with the Cat 'O' Nine Tails. I think we'll do fine. EDIT: I take it all back
  11. Quest 53: Well. There goes one brilliant scheme down the drain.
  12. Blast it, Thothwick, I had a plan to get us out of this mess without bloodshed! I attack Ancient A from the back row with the Cat 'O' Nine Tails. OOC: I should be hastened.
  13. As I wait for the answer, I do a rough estimate on how many graves there are.
  14. Ah, I see, I see. And how many spires would you need to perform this summon? I suppose if Wren or one of her allies came here to use it, you'd stop them, right?
  15. I down a Smelling Salt. As my good friends mentioned, we have no strife with you or your order. My name is Dyric Rone, by the way.
  16. Dyric Rone, Assassin of the Light. I nod respectfully.
  17. I didn't even think about that. Okay, I'm definitely more willing to set aside my bow now
  18. I thankfully take the Cat 'O' Nine Tails and the Pheonix Essence I'm afraid I don't know any of you very well. I don't think I've quested with any of you, save Sir Poletad here.
  19. The actual battle was not, but one of the characters in the set was.
  20. Well, it would seem to me we can expect to find little more than cats in boxes. An odd thought, but a non-threatening one all the same. Unless I'm wrong, of course. Or something.
  21. Scorpiox, I think we just out-Flipzed Flipz.
  22. No problem! Get well soon! I would have never noticed
  23. Because that judgement and self-judgement is in our nature. In many ways, how we judge ourselves is what drives us forward. You say that your shadow is all that follows you. For a time, I was the same. I had just been betrayed by the very throne I swore to protect. I was sure that there was something wrong with myself, something I had missed, and I judged myself as they would. And I became bitter, and angry. I embraced the grayness which you embrace now. But when I saw the duty I had to defend Eubric until the chaotic times it is in passed, I found a new judgement. I saw that it was not my fault I had been exiled, and that there was nothing I could do to redeem myself to the throne. It was the King's fault. Thus, I began to live with freedom and hope for the future. The reason you are still trapped, Regulus, is because you refuse to let go. You believe you alone are responsible for the fate of Wren. You berate yourself with this loneliness. If you were to accept those around you for who they were, people who could assist in their own ways with this task of yours, then you could achieve your freedom. I am not here to block you, Arthur, no matter if we disagree or not. I am here to assist you, and you me.
  24. Because I was in pain once. I sat there and watched as everything I knew turned its back on me. I screamed for help and none came. But now I work for stabilization. You know this. I believe part of that stabilization is to help all who need it, if you can. If you are capable of helping others and instead push that aside, you can count yourself worse than those you are fighting.
  25. I believe they are referring to the old picture with all the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings prototypes.
