  1. I equip the scarf and hand Arthur the die
  2. Well seeing as everyone's changing costumes, I've decided to make a new one for Dyric that better fits the title 'Assassin of the Light'.
  3. I down a Nostrum.
  4. We've had quite a few shirtless figs in LEGO's time. Again, Indiana Jones had dozens of potential sets - most more action-packed than your ideas - and it was still cancelled after a few waves.
  5. Actually, if TLG cheapskates and doesn't produce a new mold, I could see that being used for Anduril in the LotR line.
  6. The fact that it is clearly labelled 'Kashyyyk Battle' would also point me in that direction, but hey - people are determined.
  7. 'Royal Retainer of the Banished,' eh? Well, I'm sure I've had more pompous titles. Do I get a cloak? Dyric largely takes the Master's words in his stride - it was nothing new. Already he had learned that these regrets would be feelings that clung to him for most if not all his life, and he had accepted that fact and continued on. Still, he could not help but over a pained look as the mighty Cronk collapsed to the ground. He knew that feeling. It wasn't pleasant.
  8. Well, it's entirely possible to make it one cape. General Grievous' cape from 2005 was grey on the outside with black-printing, and maroon on the inside.
  9. Dyric listens to the argument between Arthur and, well, everyone, and nods. Fine. Fine. I'll do it. But if this is a trap, if this goes horridly wrong... I will not live with that 'regret'.
  10. I think you guys are putting too much faith in the prelim. I have little doubt the orcs are going to look a lot better than they do now.
  11. I know the feeling. Arthur and Dyric contiune to follow same paths with slightly different motives.
  12. I... I... I look back between the Master of Regret and the heroes, pained and conflicted. I have given all I am to protect Heroica and Eubric. To bring them peace. Yet here we are, on the knife's edge, called upon to either oppose all that I wish to protect in order to save it or to rejoin it in a potentially vain defense. How can I make this choice in good conscience? How can I willfully turn my back on everything, to potentially fall in to a trap? So many here speak in lies and half-truths. Nothing is certain, nothing. I... I have seen a city sacrifice its beliefs, and it cost everything. How can... Skrall. Friend. I can't... I don't... this is wrong. Everything about this is so extremely sickeningly wrong. I... how? ...How can I choose between two vague deaths? This is not my way. I cannot let this be my way. There must be some other option, any option!
  13. Anyone have an Eye of the Beholder we can borrow?
  14. I bet Masked could help
  15. Ditto, to some regard. I know a while ago Dyric and Phil were talking, and then Phil just sort of dropped off the conversation.
  16. We are closing in on a winding path. There is mystery growing all around us. Deception and screcya bound. Yet it is times like these, Felton, that make us who we are. You remember how I was at Haddon; I was all over the place, stucl-up, and so on. But we saw horrible abttles and treachery face to face, I became better for it. A wiser, more mature self was found through the brink of death. I grew, there, out of my self-pity and loathing. You say you have found your destiny, Felton - and perhaps you have - but maybe that destiny is leading you to a larger one. Perhaps what we encounter here will grow and shape you in ways you can't imagine. Perhaps this Master of Regret will be part of that path - I know I am not looking forward to him myself, many regrets still cling to me from Duplovia, despite my efforts - and perhaps he will only be a step in that direction. I know not. What I do know is this - things are changing, and I am honoured to fight at your side while they do.
  17. I gladly take the Nostrum. Tell you what, Regulus. If you can convince Atramor that scarf of his, I'll lend you my Lucky Die. Be careful with it, now, it's in mint condition.
  18. I trust Hans and Felton - Haddon was more than enough to show them in their true colours, and Bennenton seems like a good man. As you said, it is mainly this wizard and these mysterious chaos users I find disturbing. All my life I have searched for answers of one kind or another, but these only bring up more questions. I can not help but be wary, yet at the same time I strive for unity. 'Tis a most irritating paradox. As Dyric shakes his head, he sees Arthur, who looks troubled. Regulus, is there something you need? Anything I have is yours, for the duration.
  19. Dyric would be Elladan Sillimaurë
  20. So we have failed after all. Dyric resists an urge to glare at Thothwick, and instead moves to stand beside Skrall. This is folly. I fear we're being played for fools, even as we speak. These men seem inclined to tell only have the truth, and even that distorting it for their uses. Do they not see we must work together in this war?
  21. I highly doubt it. There are plenty of examples - like Indiana Jones and Toy Story - that LEGO stopped releasing sets of after the newer movie came out. A lot of these lines were really effective. I've heard that Indiana Jones was selling extremely well, but they cancelled it anyways. There's no reason to believe the same won't happen to Lord of the Rings.
  22. If I remember, Dyric Rone really just came around because it sounded like a cool name. Afterwards, though, Doc noted a similarity to the name Daric LaRone from Allegiance, by Timothy Zahn. Not sure how that came about, but I guess the name was just in my head and I didn't realize it. As such, a lot of the names from Dyric's past are slightly different versions of characters from the book.
  23. Because frankly, we may not have two or three more years of LEGO LotR. From what I remember, Indiana Jones was a line that sold really well, but after Kingdom of the Crystal Skull came out, they only released another wave or two of sets. I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened here. If we do get another wave of LotR sets, we absolutely need at least one Gondor set, preferably more. If that Witch-King set doesn't come this year, it should definitely come then, as the Witch-King and Eowen are both key characters. Either a Treebeard or a Balrog set would also seem necessary but I doubt we'll see either in the same wave. If possible, I have confidence they will release some kind of Minas Tirith set. Amon Hen, although not completely necessary, could also make a great set. This doesn't leave a lot of room for Arwen, who is one of the main characters in the movies, and the overall Middle-Earth mythos. Frankly, it is much more crucial she comes in this set than Old Gloin.
  24. I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't know which instance to post.
