  1. Zeph, out of curiosity, how exactly does Alexis have four artefacts equipped?
  2. My pet theory for the past while has been the following: The first LotR wave was huge, in many ways. For one, it was the first LotR wave. LEGO was making a huge step, and a lot of hype was obviously built upon it. Inside this were massive tasks, such as creating the Fellowship in a LEGO form, which was done superbly. Secondly, this wave captured a lot of key scenes in the movies, such as the Mines of Moria (the only time the entire Fellowship fights as one), Shelob's Lair (the main piece of action in Frodo and Sam's half of the journey), Helm's Deep (the action sequence of the Two Towers, as well as the beginning of the War of the Ring) and Weathertop (essentially the culminating point in the first half of FotR) - it was clear big things were happening. Furthermore, around 15 molds were created for this wave. That's a lot of waves. All of the minifigs were brand-new, with lots of leg printing, which before recently was very rare. It is my opinion that this wave is a breather wave of sorts. The 'deep breath before the plunge', as it were. A lot of this wave focuses less on the massive action sequences, and more on the characters, notably ones we might not get otherwise. The Council of Elrond, for example, features characters that are rarely seen outside of Rivendell in the movies. The only other set Saruman is likely to be seen in is Orthanc, which will be expensive. The Corsairs and Oathbreakers also don't see a lot of action, and the Mouth of Sauron was only in the extended edition. It would seem to me that LEGO is taking the chance to give some essential - but smaller - scenes and characters in preparation for big things (Minas Tirith?) to come. Also, this wave has a lot less molds than the previous - less than half, I believe.
  3. I repeat my attack. And by repeat I mean same target, but successful, of course.
  4. Ah, the Gran is amazing. I was considering one of the old Space Police III sets as a stand-in, but that'll do fine. Consider it bought.
  5. Abrams has admitted the amount of flare on Star Trek was egregious. It's bound to be at least dialed down in VII
  6. Ah, Chaos Beasts. Some things never change. I attack Beast A from the back with the Cat 'O' Nine Tails
  7. What madness was that?
  8. Both Black Widow and Agent Hill are confirmed returning for Winter Soldier.
  9. Rone is clearly frustrated by the decision, but gives a nod of acknowledgment in Nyx's direction anyways.
  10. I replace my Jester's Hat with the Cultist Hat
  11. Although that AT-TE doesn't look too different, it does have some fantastic minifigs with it, and the changes to it are fantastic. I'm tempted, even though I have the 2007 version.
  12. Nyx, ma'am, we haven't said many words to each other. But I will say this - this is as suicide as Atramor's mission. We went to fight, and Triad still fell in battle. Nyx, I have said this before and I shall say it again; sacrifices will be made in this war. Sacrifices have been made in this war. Now is a question of when and why to make them. This is folly, Nyx, and a foolish endeavour. This is not a noble sacrifice, it is a costly one. One that will not just cost you, but all of us. We have not gained a foot of ground thus far, every step we take we get pushed back another. We have to cut our losses this time. If we don't, all we have done will be for naught. I down a Nostrum, we all know I'll need it.
  13. Regulus? Regulus, what has happened to you!? Have we sacrificed more to this growing chaos than we could possibly have imagined?
  14. I can make out most the words, but it's largely the same ramblings of Chaos Dyric's used to... just creepier.
  15. But you did fight, didn't you? The Spire has been closed?
  16. Regulus? Friend, what is wrong? I nod solemnly at Atramor. I can only hope her sacrifice was not in vain.
  17. Rone isn't undead, and he has 2,000+ gold.
  18. I target Cleric A from the back with the Cat 'O' Nine Tails
  19. Y'know, if King Guts needs a royal bodyguard or trainer or anything...
  20. Dyric Rone begs to differ.
  21. Speaking as a Star Trek fan, I was just glad that he didn't destroy the continuity altogether. Actually, The Essential Guide to Warfare had a decent retcon, but the fact that TCW went that far is still unnerving nonetheless.
  22. I take a grand potion
  23. As I get up, I marvel at the ridiculous nature of the attack, and attacks Guard D from the back with the Cat 'O' Nine Tails.
  24. Totally agree. My luck doesn't exactly help matters, either. Hey, Zeph, you said we in the cemetery battle would be promised some great loot down the road...
