  1. Night dawns, and Morcrass leads the heroes out of Duplovia, across the mighty field to about half a kilometer out of Delfrin. He wishes them luck, the rides back to Duplovia. The heroes creep forward in the grass, and find themselves at the border of the shining white city. In the distance, a group Delfrin guards stand watch. One notices your movement. Who goes there?
  2. So, Benji is almost literally dating catwoman?
  3. Not sure you're posting in the right topic, but that finale was pretty intense.
  4. I've started a character sheet for the TVTropes page.
  5. Well, I suppose we should check the penthouse now. Anyone have particular interest in the loot? Loot: 20 gold to Cronk, Nerwen and Xander
  6. I just realized Aragorn has the exact same legs as Boromir in the Black Gate set. They did the same thing with Legolas and Tauriel in the Mirkwood set - not sure if I find that sort of thing creative or annoying.
  7. Delfrin. I should have known. Sir? Yes, we'll have to move things ahead of schedule. Go on. Thank you, sir. Leaves. As for you, we'll have to get you in secretly. Delfrin doesn't have the large walls Duplovia does, but security has spiked because of the assassinations. If you go at nightfall, we may be able to get you in past the guards. It's a risk, but we'll have to take it. When you're in head to the Delfrin underworld, and be on the watch for any large warehouses there. The Hand of Throngs have been known to operate out of them. Sarge finds no lock on the inside, and Alexander's digging reveals the ground is solid stone, there is no way to escape.
  8. I repeat my attack. Battle Order: Cronk Xander Nerwen Dyric
  9. You tell me your lead, I tell you how to get there. You seem capable enough, so I'll trust you to get there and take out the Hand's leadership on your own. When you're done, just stick around the city, we'll find you.
  10. There is no 'in what'. Like it or not, 'heroes,' you've gotten yourselves involved in a gang war. Oh, fun. Do I get a crossbow to shoot sideways, now? You need us to finish this job, elf. You know where to look, we know where to look for. If you leave us out, you'll be wandering around for years looking for their hidden fortress. By then King Somoril will be dead, and your mission unsuccessful.
  11. Commotion in the market? Please, we offered you the chance to surrender, and instead you fight. I said nothing about helping Duplovia and Delfrin. We would merely like to get an opposing cell out of the way. These men are terrorists, not mere gang members. They are a threat to everyone. You would do well by telling us this lead of yours.
  12. You heroes have absolutely no subtlety to speak of. On the bright side, they don't end their sentences with prepositions. Yes, I captured you. Don't feel so special, it was merely because I hate nuisances like you killing off my men. I prefer to have potential threats where I can use them to my advantage. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, and all that. Besides, there is no way you could help us with our problem. You'd be surprised. I've heard Heroes can be incredibly resourceful. Fine then. If what you said in Newharbour is true, you're here to stop the assassinations. I'm interested in the same task. By killing the target first? I don't quite think you understand our ultimate goal. Our 'assassinations' have merely been bluffs, decoys if you will to expose the true assassins. I believe they stem from a rival gang, one who call themselves the 'Hand of Throngs,' and they are known for their heavy armour, marked with a great white hand. However, I have not been able to locate their base.
  13. QM Note: Fixed. Sorry, I was in a bit of a rush posting that. Task? You are my prisoners, fool! There is no task anymore! I am the Prefect of Duplovia, you will not get away with this. I beg to differ, Rone. No one knows where we are, and no one would expect a beggar from Newharbour to be the leader of the Hidden Skulls, now would they? If you want to get out of here, you'll need more than your demands.

  16. In honesty, though, its been fun working the plot around to fit some of the things you guys have been doing. I'll talk more about this during the final quest analysis.
  17. I wasn't expected them to fight at all, I was assuming they'd all listen to Vastin and surrender. No idea why I thought the players would actually go along with the QM.

  19. It was made pretty clear in Iron Man 3 that the Mandarin wasn't really considered a large enough threat for SHIELD and the Avengers to face, and Stark only got involved when it became personal. I also believe it was mentioned that the US wanted to look strong after the Chitauri attack, and its hard to do that when superheroes are helping out all the time.
  20. For Dyric, probably Getleman Thief, and the Exile, though there's certainly more than that. I think in general most heroes will fall into several tropes. We'll need a pretty big character sheet...
  21. Well now that it's up, I might as well help with the troping.
  22. I've considered it, but I've never registered to TVTropes yet, and I'm scared that if I do I may never come back. I'd think it would have to a collaborative process either way, though. And complicated.
  23. I declare we call this 'Flipzing'. As for the wiki discussion, I wouldn't mind one, although I can see why there are those that'd disagree. I, personally, still want to see a Tropes index for Heroica.
  24. Originally it was to take advantage of Cronk's counter striking and take out the book, but that's moot now.
