As far as the TMNT and MB thing goes, SIgn me up!!! If what they make is half as good as what they did to the SB line, my wallet will be open for business. As far as the CMF's, i used to be mega addicted to those things until i realized that i was buying buying buying and not doing anything with the things besides mostly display! So i got rid of most of the excess in a trade with a guy and i still have a bunch left over. *adds memo to self on to-do list*

i'm thinking about looking into MM3D once I can find it for a way better price. But for now i'm doing some with LOZ: OOS and i'm waiting for LOZ: ALBW to get here(would of been here TODAY if it wouldn't be for presidents day)

Depends. If lego finally gets wave 6 friends out to the states, then i'll be swan diving online to get a complete set of wave 6, checking out the clearance and keychains, and checking the pab section also. if not? Then my wallet will stay sealed.

Quality may not be the same but the quality is WAY better then stuff like blok tech and best lock. Plus the quality to part to price ratio is really fair while lego isn't. As far as the licensed thing that MB does, they don't really do much outside of licensed. Plus with lego snatching up so many ideas, how is MB supposed to do anything original?

I think you missed a third point. Lego has a major threat from clone brands, namely the big 3: MB, Ionix, and kreo. the clones quality is climbing while the prices are remaining pretty fair for the most part. They are also coming up with sets that look REALLY good and are thinking outside the box. on the other hand, lego is having increasing Quality problems, the prices are jumping up, and it feels like they've kragled themselves into a rut. They are spreading themselves way to thin with themes! According to the wikia, the new things for this year are "Bionicles"(that look more like HF), city swamp, classic, duplo sofia the first, elves, jurassic world, Pirates, scooby doo, AND speed champions. And that's on top of existing themes getting new stuff. and on the D/C list? HF, hobbit, and lotr. And i heard that chima will be getting its last wave this summer and TLM is status unknown. if i'd have to make the call on TLM, i'd call it game over since most licensed themes are lucky if they get a few waves. i don't see a problem with them doing movies IF they started off slowly doing it. But no, they get over confident from the "success" of TLM(success is in quotes since it's a debatable topic) after the thing was out for less then a WEEK and now they've got batman, ninjago, AND a TLM2 lined up.

Today at the flea market, I bought a sealed( but a little roughed up) 1549 set, copyright 1992, for 5 bucks. To my surprise, one of the countries that the contents came from is the USA!!! am wondering if anyone knows when the "contents include parts from the USA" situation ended.

What I do for the oddballs is a try to categorize them by like items. Take a the images you posted for example. Number 1 and 4 would go in the misc container I have in a sterelite drawer until I get a chance to figure out what they are. Number 2 would be in my curved bin with other 1 and 2 wide curves. Number 3 is technic and I could see it in one of 3 containers in the drawer. 5 and 7 are shooter type things so they get stored in the cannon/catapult/shooter bin. Number 6 is the doodad for number 5 but since the doodad is so narrow and could slip out the basket in the drawer, itd go in a stack-on with other really thin stuff. As far as the extra batman parts, unless I was going to change things up, thats easy. The head would go with mini figure heads and the cape would go in my "between the torso and head or on the feet" container

My Theory is b/c lego friends is fire and police set free, lego is able to actually focus on making a variety of stuff that can be found in citys and not yet more police or fire guys. My story is an on going i'm having to get straightened out. I recently won a small lot of parts from ebay and there was a mix up. I got an item meant for someone else so i had to email the seller. They emailed the guy who's item i got to see if HE got my order(he did) so i had to go mail the item i got meant for the guy back to the seller, the guy who got my stuff had to send it back to the seller, and now i'm Going to be in a waiting game for the lego to get back to the seller and then for the lego to come to me. That now means that most of the minecraft moc'ing i was going to try doing is now on hold since i need the 16 X 16 plates that are in the won lot. not my day i tell ya!

I got lucky. While cleaning up in the room, i found a baseplate that Was broken in half i got from helping hands a while back(it was like that when i got it) so i'm using that instead of one of my 16 X 32s that aren't busted. Started the process for the first half and i'm at the "wait one hour" step with about 10 minutes left EDIT: first part is up, second is also up. Upper plate has 3 friends on brackets with mega blok gender benders, lower has 3 minifigures.

Managed a pretty neat score. Was surfing on eBay and found a lego auction that had four 16 X 16 plates and some random parts. . No box or instuctions.I decide "hey, i want to bid on it since i can use the plates for a moc i want to do". i throw a bit of money at the auction and get it for $8.20 including shipping. I go poke around bricklink since it only occured to me then that it appeared to be a set of some sort. I discover its a big part the lego ninjago board game that average used price is 16 bucks and shipping isn't always cheap! i doubt that i will reassemble it as a board game but it's a great deal for a parts pack

2013 brought 3 amazing waves of animals that left me wanting more. 2014 brought 3 amazing waves to many areas with the states STILL WAITING to learn if we will get wave 6 on top of being subjected to problems getting 4 and 5 in many area. It is now 4 months since Lego bothered to FINALLY get wave 5 into the online shop and yet I'm hearing nothing on when/if we will get wave 6 to finish the series up. Nothing on new elementary, nothing on 3 separate friend forums, nothing on the Lego site, brickset/bricksetforum, brick blogger, Lego utube, and asking Lego got me nowhere. And asking on the friends thread here on EB is not getting me anywhere. I've asked on the Lego town forums friend thread at least 3 times and everyones so wrapped up in drooling over the new çmfs coming out and 2015 sets that no one besides me is even thinking about the final wave coming out anytime soon. Can I recreate the wave with a little effort? Sure, in fact I am working on that now. Made the sets the best I could and I have a few parts in from a BL that's processing to start making the improvements to the colors. Problem is that its impossible for me to recreate the magic of opening genuine series 6 packs, feeling the crisp instructions, and opening a bag of shiny new parts. Only friends Lego sets on the upcoming list are pop diva stuff, no animal packs. Is there anyway that an ambassador can talk to Lego to get an answer to whether or not they will get series 6 to the states? If they will in the near future, that's great. I'll wait on my lego shop order to add these in. If not, then fine I'll still do my Lego shop order but at least I'll know how to start plotting out my order

At the current moment, my game of choice is I'm playing donky Kong country returns for my 3ds. B4 that was super Mario 3d land. Not thing on the menu is going to be the cube creator 3ds free demo I got.

that would such an epic project. Honestly my lego room used to be a bed room but since i prefer sleeping on the couch to have access to the dvr, i got rid of my bed XD

Seems like more people should do that instead of wanting lego to make more TLM sets. Come on guys release your inner master builder!

i managed to secure a pack of strips today. I'll have to wait until it warms up since we have a cold snap and it's a safe bet that my room isn't warm enough to get the things to secure properly. My room is basically a mess of lego stuff and random stuff so i have no room for a space heater. i could keep that in mind. From time to time i do like to hit Goodwill and salvation army to check for stuff so that could work great in a couple spots that needs color but it's super easy to access.

Got an email back from lego. They are neither confirming nor denying that there may or may not be a 4th wave of stuff.

Perfect! We are going to be hopefully hitting Walmart today so I could grab some today. I am mostly going to just stick a fee random figures and parts up so no heavy duty antics for me. We have wood panel walls that should work great.

If these are nothing but figures created by a customizer, i think they are pretty good. If these are real leaked images, then I'm concerned that Lego is running out of ideas for the cmfs. The zombie cheerleader looks interesting but exactly how useful is a z.c. in projects? What's up with a rock and roll style frankenstien? Am I missing something here?
