  1. That's lovely! Can we get some more shots and maybe see that interior you're talking about? I'm a Trekkie and definitely feel ST is a bit under-represented in Lego, so always nice to see a Star Trek MOC! icm - I totally agree with you on the Megabloks Enterprise. It looks nice, but it may as well be a traditional model kit since it has no creative solutions to the build.
  2. Great looking aircraft and support vehicles! I'd also be interested in knowing the rough part count and seeing some more views. Nice builds!
  3. Very nice shuttle, and that single tooth piece works surprisingly well as a Star Destroyer!
  4. All the components are great, but that AT-AT is outstanding, and I'm impressed by the level of detail on the AT-ST at that tiny scale. Excellent build!
  5. Hi Snowboarder68, welcome to EB! Per site guidelines to which you agreed when signing up, this forum is not to be used for promotion of IDEAs projects; it is a discussion board, not an advertising platform: LEGO Ideas: If you have a great MOC, that is also a LEGO Ideas project, you may present it on EB as you would any MOC, with a single link to the Ideas entry. Make the title about the MOC, not the Ideas business; don't be too shouty, and it is likely to be tolerated. You need to be thinking: 'I want people on EB to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll support it on LEGO Ideas', rather than: 'I want Ideas support! If I post it on EB, perhaps more people will vote!. Besides, if you actually put some info about your MOC here, I'm sure folks will be more interested and you'll get more views than with just that link that doesn't entice anyone to click it.
  6. Awesome! Congratulations and much happiness to you both!
  7. That is surprisingly good at that minifigure size, and a pretty simple build overall. Nicely done!
  8. What a hunk of junk! Er... wait, that's later in the timeline. I think it looks great. Captures all the key elements well, and nice to see the front detach feature included. Nice build.
  9. After 10+ posts you should see the signature option, and it looks like you're at 11 now, Foreman, so take a look at the spot LM71Blackbird pointed you at and you should be set.
  10. Yeah, I think it's really hard to say. Sealed polybags, sure, and I guess it really shouldn't be much different than with keeping boxes, but I think it's more an issue that polybags are small, inexpensive sets by nature so even if the bag increases the sale price by 20%, that's not much in terms of absolute dollars. If it ended up being really rare and exclusive it might make more of a difference... or maybe not at all since if it's really that rare and it's not something about the bag itself that makes it so, there won't be many available and thus the bag won't be a big differentiator anyway. On the flip side, I can't imagine empty polybags take much space at all to store, so unless you really need that half cubic foot of room back it probably doesn't hurt to hold on to them!
  11. Welcome to EB, Marts25! Looks nice. I like how even the mane and tail can be positioned. I wonder how stable it is when built with real bricks? Nice work!
  12. Hi solic! You've got loads of great stuff - thanks for popping in to say Hi to us here on EB! That streamliner is excellent, and off the topic of trains I must say that your minifigs sitting on the bench in your coal mine MOC are delightful as well.
  13. Delightful! Great shaping and overall feel on all of them, and that big burger with all the toppings next to the fry stand is super! Only one bit of criticism: Where did those hotdogs come from??
  14. I'm really impressed with this. The hull shaping is great, especially at this relatively small size, and the sails look wonderful too! The pics on flickr of the ship being build in the yard are a nice touch. Any idea how sound that hull would be in real brick? Doesn't look like there's much keeping those curves together. I really like the overall color scheme, and that spiritsail is a lovely touch.
  15. Those are blasters/guns from the GotG sets: https://brickset.com/parts/design-17010
  16. Welcome to EB, Admiral. Happy building!
  17. Very nice. Great details throughout but, while it may seem a little odd, I think my favorite part is that flower cart! Nice small builds on the copy machines, too, and NPU in several places on the facades.
  18. Looks great, and the addition of "King Kong" on top is a nice touch! That's also for sharing some of those WIP shots. The pics against the sky sell it really well, too. Great build!
  19. Looks like you have a decent quality reproduction/bootleg printed on (probably) genuine Lego parts. The printing is far too raised to be official Lego pad printing (or has highlights included in the print that aren't supposed to be there), and while it does look pretty good it's not as crisp as a legit print (especially the "glow" around the lantern logo on the chest). I mean, at least the head is a reproduction- the eyes of the mask aren't as finely detailed as they should be, the mask should be darker green (though that could be the lighting in the photo), and the print is shifted down (the cheekbone/jaw detail should stop right where the head piece starts to curve at the bottom, and these print down onto that area), and of course it should have the second face which it doesn't... which casts doubt on the rest of the fig as well. Closely compare it to this know-legitimate example:
  20. I can't add much to that, but I'll also chime in to say that the pieces you've built so far look fantastic! Even if the rollercoaster part ends up not working out, I'm sure it'll look great.
  21. Welcome to EB, Dorian! I would say you are definitely at the right place. Happy building!
  22. Hi Andy98, As far as I know (and a quick search seems to confirm), all of the official Lego releases of Green Lantern minifigures (except maybe the John Stewart version?) all have dual-printed heads, so if yours only has one it's more likely to be a fake/bootleg than a misprint. I haven't seen anyone reporting the definitely legitimate minifigs having only 1 face, but there weren't that many released so who knows. It would probably be a good idea to very carefully inspect the rest of the figure (inside the head, and in the head-stud, on top of the head peg of the torso, etc.) for the Lego logo along with the feel of the plastic and look of the printing, etc., to see if it looks authentic. Feel free to post higher-res, detailed photos of the parts and I'm sure folks here can help. FYI on that topic per your question: The paperclip/upload option on Eurobricks that you're talking about is only for very small images to be used in your signature line here on the board. You only get 100K total, so even 1 regular image would exceed that available space. For sharing photos of MOCs, etc., you'll want to use a 3rd party service and I think most folks would recommend Flickr. Here's a tutorial on linking/embedding Flickr images in your posts: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/97921-flickr-tutorial/
  23. Great design! I agree with Smitty500 on the hinge plate longevity, but that can't really be helped and I don't see other good options that will work at this properly-scaled size. Nice posing in your photos, too. Thanks for sharing!
  24. Welcome to EB, Lia! Happy building!
  25. Cool building... and so many curves! I think the vertical masonry/profile bricks work pretty well for giving it a little extra visual detail there. Interesting shape to the building footprint as well. Nice interior details; I like the private paneled room. Constructive criticism: I think it needs some kind of more visible exterior signage to denote that it's a restaurant, and to me it looks like the protruding corner should be the main entrance which seems to be supported by the actual door being obscured by that bench and thus even less visible without a sign or awning or something. Nice build!
