  1. This is a great little scene. I love the inland feel! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  2. Congratulations Meiko, Classic-Pirate's Newest Auction Scout! An extra ration of rum for you!
  3. Congratulations! All the entries were very nice.
  4. Welcome to Eurobricks! To answer a couple of your questions, I don't think there is any specific brick as any brick could be used in a creative way to create a nice ship. And Bricklink is probably you best source as far as finding parts at decent prices. I look forward to seeing your creations.

  6. It was actually a find by our news scout, he found it on Flickr and posted it in the Pirates MOC forum.
  7. Very clever parts usage! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  8. Excellent creation! Probably the best Bionicle MOC I've seen. Especially since I'm not a huge Bionicle fan, but I am a huge pirate fan. There is actually a discussion about this in the Pirates forum here. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  9. Excellent find! I can't stop looking at that rock work, it is truly amazing! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  10. Whatever it is, I'm very excited! Now we just need the blog up and running.
  11. Excellent find! Very nice details, I especially like the palm trees! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  12. You have excellent points and have brought great incite into the discussion. I believe what you have outlined is a start in the right direction. This is one thing I really liked about GoH, I love to see people become better builders. I love The University of Petraea Doctorate Program, and would like to see something like that incorporated into this. I think it is a great service to the AFOL community.
  13. I really enjoyed the article on shipping containers. I have made several of them. I was wondering if anybody knows where to get decals for the sides? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  14. I like the idea. Not just like GoH, but something similar, rooted in pirate lore. Count me in! I think this is a start on the right track. Maybe even actual nations of the time, just create different histories. I too found GoH to be a little confusing. I don't think it started that way. As it went along the stories got deeper and more intertwined and a history started to emerge. If you didn't keep up with it for a while, you could easily get lost.
  15. Great update! This is turning out to be a beautiful ship! Really the best small ship I have ever seen. I am glad that you have decided to see it through, and I'm sure will make you a better builder. I often get frustrated with some of my creations, even though, completing a project to the end still instils me with great pleasue and pride. Portland, TN is where I call home. It's a small town just a little north of Nashville. You would think with a decent size city like Nashville there would be more of an AFOL community, but I have yet to find it. You will always have a fan in me, Capt. Stabbin
  16. Congrats! Your entry was awesome! I had a lot of fun and look forward to the next contest.
  17. I'm not sure, but it was new and unused.
  18. I'm no train expert, but I do have a LEGO train setup. I would be interested in parts like these. I'm am unsure about the radius I would prefer. I would definitely go with plastic because it's cheaper and I am currently running power functions.
  19. Looks like one sold on Bricklink in November 2013 for 339 Euro.
  20. Excellent contest entry! I love everything about it! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  21. It's fairly sturdy when together. However, when you take the modules apart is it is a little weak, but with the hinges it is easy to put back into the proper shape. It's true the tavern is a little bigger, but I have to work with the constraints of my own collection. You have presented excellent criticisms, and you have a good eye. Thanks!
  22. Yes, this was a lot of fun. I enjoyed working with and meeting someone I might not have otherwise. Good luck to all the participants.
  23. Nice job! These look just like a set TLG would produce! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  24. This is an awesome first MOC! The proportions are perfect! Great job! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  25. Very nice entry! I love the colors chosen, and all the playable details. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
