  1. I think that the grey/yellow bricks indicate the average rating left by users, not the stock level. The new sets have it all grey because there aren't yet (enough) reviews.
  2. Yes, that's a shame as it was announced around 35 € and knowing that neighbouring countries get it cheaper. I think I'll go to Lille buy it in the store there to spare 8 € (and spend more in the pick-a-brick wall...)
  3. The only changes made to the station is that I added a plain white backwall (I didn't even integrate the red & green line, it was just to hide the open back), and replaced the 16x32 baseplate by the adjacent 32x32 baseplate.
  4. Really nice, I love the water effect and the trailer hidden in the water :)
  5. Thanks :) Indeed, usually there are fences between gardens, but I already saw neighbours with such non-fully-fenced gardens (though that they usually are bigger), so I thought that it would spare some space not to put the fences. In the meantime I bought several new ones (well, second-hand, they are still 25 years old), I could make something twice as big... but for that I have another problem: where would I do that that requires a lot of space on the ground.
  6. I wanted to make some smaller houses, with gardens, not in the usual style of modular buildings (so I used these only as background around the houses block), with some touches of old 80s city sets. The blue roof of the building seen in background here above contains parts from all the eras, from the 60s until this year, including the disappeared double convex / double concave slope : http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=962 You can find more pictures and comments on this page: https://antp.be/lego/moc/small-townhouses.php as well as the answers about which set inspired some of the houses (but many AFOLs will recognize them I suppose)
  7. As it does not seem anymore on S@H I wonder at what price it will be for Belgium, but I am afraid that it will be the same as NL :/ I hope that at least France will get it at a reasonable price, as the closest German store is twice as far as the one of Lille...
  8. I think he means an active/current license like Cars or themes like that which got new molds as they were produced in highest number. I do not think I would like a custom part though. I even prefer the current style than using new custom parts. It is Lego, not Megablocks.
  9. You could send them to me :D I like using these for windows together with jumper plates:
  10. They would look great together because both cars look awkward? Nice. I'm tempted of taking two: one for keeping the set as it is, and one for modding. They should have added the thin long antenna for the version from the 1st movie, like how the car was at the end when they needed to transmit the power through the clock tower. I do not find it bad, but indeed it is too big. It should be 1/3rd of the width rather than 1/2, and they should have kept 1 stud between the front and the box.
  11. As I don't have any of the trucks (but I have the train) I hope they'll make a new one some day...
  12. I'm back from a day in Lille (France) They also had the dark green 1x1, purple 1x2 and 2x2 column, but no olive green... Thanks to the charming and friendly salesgirl who searched for me a box of dark red 1x2 bricks for me in the stock (it was not in the wall), but as the 2nd cup was already nearly filled I couldn't take so much. In the satisfaction survey of the shop there is an option to thank an employee especially, but unfortunately I didn't get her name for that. When asking what I was going to build, I was a little surprised, since I just put the parts in my stock for whenever I need then She noticed that I liked the transparent blue 1x2 tiles, indeed I got many of these. Amongst other interesting parts: gold cones & grilles, some plants, fences, light purple 1x2 plates, red gem
  13. I got my card after registering on Belgian site of the online shop, and used it in stores in France (Paris & Lille) and in Germany (Köln) both for earning and using points, all without problems (I just checked on the site: the points were added to my account). edit: and I got credited of the points corresponding to the French price, not the Belgian one, so it matches what you actually pay.
  14. What happens in the dark red brick town house stays in the dark red brick town house Partially due to your nice building, I just ordered the 21010 robie house (discounted at 135 € on Amazon.fr) to have a large amount of dark red plates
  15. Was the 70402 box in the large cup, or in one of the small ones ? :D I hope that these purple tiles will still be available next time I go to the shop (as they seem to be available in several shops, including the one I'll go)
  16. Note sure: glued model would really break, making it worth nothing at all. Parts from destroyed non-glued models can at least be re-used.
  17. I see that the topic was moved to "Minifig Customisation Workshop", luckily I saw it from the general forum, as I would never look into minifig-related section for printing on tiles... That could be interesting, but on the bricklink page I do not see info about that, they do not mentions custom printings or costs linked to that.
  18. As Elijah also starred in Back to the Future II, that's still ok for the set :D
  19. The corners of other parts seemed less sharp to me than these panels: these were very thin (less than the thickness of a plate). Also, the other parts do not have their corners as much exposed. But I agree that the change is bad: I also prefer the old panels; I like these parts and often use them.
  20. For the panel, maybe it was for safety issues: these corners were quite sharp. What I don't like in the modern parts is the big hinges old: http://www.bricklink...Item.asp?P=4275 new: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=44302 The old one could be use in so many more ways. But I understand that the old one was quite fragile (I broke a few) and that it cost more due to produce because of the precision level required for a good connection between parts. Same for the windows with shutters: new ones look ugly but they are most likely less fragile (and also needs a less precise connection).
  21. I think that one is supposed to be exclusive of Lego Stores & online Shop (plus possibly some selected resellers)
  22. As I posted on the other topic, it might come from a set of extra random parts as they were making a few years ago:
  23. I got a weird-blue brick that I posted there some time ago: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=67887&st=325#entry1552517 but it is most likely a miscolored one rather than a special color, I suppose...
  24. I regret of not having pictures of some things I made when I was kid (as in that time, taking photos was not free like now with digital cameras, I only have pics of a few things) But for the AFOL-era MOCs the photos I made are enough to me to keep.
