By the time I was able to get to the stores, the Advent Calendar has sold out. Does anyone have an extra one they'd be willing to sell or trade? Preferably from the U.S.? Steve

I don't want a lot for Christmas; There is just one thing I need; I don't care about other presents; Underneath the Christmas tree. What I want just for my own; More than you can ever know; Make my wish come true; All I want for Christmas is Lego... Steve -

Lego 10000--OMG! A Very Strange Set!
Athos replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I got that too, when I ordered that set. Personally, I was happy to get an extra Indian style horse, as I have dozens of the plain white ones. Steve -

My experience at Brick Slopes 2014
Athos replied to landoandrews's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Wow, another EB'r attended. Next time we need to have some activity that will let us make the real-life to forum connection. My pictures are in my announcement thread. Steve -
For all of you who didn't make the event, here are some photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/37777874@N06/sets/72157644108124809/ We had 5000 paying adults (not counting their kids under 9 and since this was SLC, there were a lot of kids) come view the creations. Super talented builders were showcased. Two master builders were in attendance. Prizes galore were awarded, with most registered attendees receiving at least three. I think this could become the big event for those of us living in the mountain west (I'm looking at you Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Utah (obviously), Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming). I'm practically gushing about how great it was. And, its not my first con, so don't think I'm just a hyperactive newbie... Steve

They did do a poll a little while back for kind of a special re-release of the previous figures. And then based on that poll, they gave us this mess, which really feels like they just ignored the poll and threw whatever stuff they had leftover into a box. That's about as close to your idea as they've came. Classic-castle has a massive thread of all the suggestions and fulfilled suggestions, if you want to see how many ideas people have had. Steve

Thanks all! They're really easy. If you look closely at some examples, you can figure it out. Or there is a guide in the Unofficial Lego Builders Guide. Alice is a bit more complicated, as I've SNOT'd her dress. But once you get that figured out, you can SNOT out all kinds of dresses. Steve

I'm expanding my Alice in Miniland MOCs, to include scenery. Here is the first: Steve

REVIEW: 71005 LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO Simpsons Series
Athos replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nice review. I especially liked seeing how regular heads look on the Simpsons' bodies. I'm not really impressed and probably will skip the series. Is this the most equal distribution we've had in a series? Steve- 118 replies
