  1. Yay! But I won't declare a winner until I'm ready to do the final round of voting... Steve
  2. I was afraid we were going to have a tie vote here... Glad to see my favorite has pulled ahead... Steve, who thinks original Radia looks a bit like a cancer victim...
  3. I like the Dark Red MJ. The torso makes a great evening dress, when combined with the dark red skirt piece from the Large Monster Studio Set. I'm not real fond of the face, but its the best we've got since its the only yellow one. I prefer the pony tail hair and think the other is too big. Steve
  4. It looks bluer than I'd expected... Steve
  5. Me too, but that's an awful lot of arches, that I don't have... Steve
  6. Anyone have any more designs for sculpture style/size flowers? Here's what I've found so far: My creation: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Athos/Misc/flowers.jpg PepaQuin's solution: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=253153 Somebody else's design: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=134848 I know there are other designs out there. A daffodill, I remember in particular. Steve
  7. Decided to combine Spider-Man and Batman into one here. Here are you options: 1. The Toxic Poison Ivy: 2. The Sultry Catwoman: 3. The Exotic Mary-Jane (Dark Red): 4. The Demure Mary-Jane (Green and Blue): 5. The Imperiled Mary-Jane (White and Pink): 6. The Kidnapped Mary-Jane (Fleshtoned): 7. The Elderly Aunt May: Steve
  8. $3 per figure is a little steep, but I imagine the princess will be rather rare as she only comes in a single set and if history is any indication, we won't see her again... Now if only they had armor in the bin, you could stick on her, it might be worth it. It was a better deal for me, who found a new Anakin hair in the bin and managed to snag it, so now I don't need to buy the Naboo Fighter just for that hair. Steve
  9. I'd like a new Gungan. They could make a nice race of froglike people for Castle... Steve
  10. I am. I'll take the winners from all the subcategories and then we'll have a final vote at the end... Steve
  11. Would you like chicken or beef flavored? X-D Steve
  12. That's not what I asked though... I asked if you would buy these sets. Not if for a line you thought would be better... That's like me asking if you want Chicken or Beef and you answering Ice Cream... ;-) Unless of course I was asking: "what flavor of ice cream do you want, Chicken of Beef?" and you answered incredulously, "Ice Cream?!?!?" Personally, I wouldn't like army building sets. I'd much prefer minifig scale architectural sets. Steve
  13. 1. The photogenic Original Cam 2. The aquatic Deep Sea Cam 3. The articulate Original Radia 4. The frigid Radia Steve, who didn't realize Cam didn't like the cold and Radia didn't swim...
  14. No offense at all... I'd have thought the inclusion of the monsters would have appealed the kids enough to get them over their aversion to history. I also agree some of the monster's Lego has done have been terrible. Particularly your examples (though I did like the yeti). Part of what I think might save this line from that, is the monsters I've indicated (minotaur, medusa, sirens and harpies) could be done mostly as minifigures with special heads, like Star Wars aliens. Centaurs could be modeled on horses and the lion could be done similarly. The hydra, dragon, and chimera could pose problems though. I'd much prefer various architectural models, such as temples to various deities. I modeled it on the Viking line, however, because it seemed pretty successful. People v. monsters also seems like the way Lego is going, given the dinos vikings and aquaraiders. Steve P.S. Who voted "You forgot an option" and what option is it? :-|
  15. Too true. I'm not real fond of the silver armor or the skeletons. I like the rest of it though (except the tower in the back). Steve
  16. Click me! Steve
  17. Check it out! Classic-castle! Steve
  18. Need more realism in your Lego city? Police getting bored with nothing to do? Well send them to the City Park and they will find plenty of action, with a drunk to roust. Includes broken fences, unkept flower bed, trash-can (complete with rubbish) and a drunk with his six-pack. Steve
  19. Or maybe desist, cease, halt, end, terminate, cut-short... ;-) Steve
  20. Hey I've been immortalized in brick form! Actually I think this was the second time. But at any rate, I love it! My only suggestion is I usually build on the floor. ;-) Steve
  21. I like the design as a whole and the torso works for me. I just don't like the dark red and brown combination. I think if you switched out the red arms for black, it would be better. Steve
  22. I like all the junk on the horse. Looks really good. I'm not sure I like the Orient hat on the viking guy. Just doesn't look quite right to me. I think its maybe the dark red/brown color combination. I like the pumpkin patch too and that's an interesting use of those sloped pieces for the bridge. Steve
