Well there he is, in all his flesh-toned crappiness. I like the new hat. The whip doesn't look like anything special; they could have easily done without that and used the old whip and made a new mold for something else. That pouch looks intriguing. Actually, other than the fleshtones, he looks pretty good, RIP Johnny Thunder... :'-( Steve

When I'm in a dilemma like that, I always consider the following: Which combination comes with more figures? Which combination comes with more parts? Which combination gives you more complete soldiers (i.e enough weapons, shields and equipment for all)? Which combination comes with the most new stuff? Which combination avoids having to pay TRU premiums? Steve

How large is it? I'm not sure I like the long shape of it. I'd rather it had more evenly balanced dimensions like a proper poster. Steve, who thinks someone with photoshop talents should design us up some nice Lego posters...

Hard to tell what's going on. And the house doesn't really look all that trashed. A good first effort. I bet its hard to do detail work in LDD... Steve

They had it at either the store in Ontario CA or Glendale CA. I can't recall now which one it was at. I'd never seen it before then. And probably wouldn't have noticed it then, except someone (I'm guessing a train guy, I was in a hurry, so I didn't talk to him) was filling one up with green and brown. Personally, I'm not sure, given the rather poor selection at the PaBs, I'd be able to fill one. Sometimes its hard to fill a cup... Steve

Looks great. Makes me pine for new Wild West sets. My only complaint is the ranch house looks too colorful. You've got brown, white, red and green in there and personally, any more than three colors (black and grey don't count as colors) makes me feel a bit overloaded. Steve

Those are nice. My only complaint is how they hang. They should have the chain attached from the top, so they'd hang level and not point face down. Steve

I wouldn't mind them in a separate set. Maybe as an add on. I wouldn't like them in the actual model set itself, since that would make them so pricey. Steve
