  1. Welcome, I hope you have a great time on Eurobricks!
  2. Tube out? Is that a particular subway station with special history/meaning?
  3. BeLUG presents its upcoming event, next weekend (on 24-25 November 2012), in Antwerp. This time I won't be there with a display, but I'll be visiting together with Captain Green Hair on Sunday. Anyone else from Eurobricks planning on coming? Discussion topic
  4. BeLUG presents its upcoming event, next weekend (on 24-25 November 2012), in Antwerp. This time I won't be there with a display, but I'll be visiting together with Captain Green Hair on Sunday 25, arriving around 12h. Very much looking forward to this event! Anyone else from Eurobricks planning on coming?
  5. Did you have pain during the last event? I hope you were not tortured by another eventee
  6. The idea of the Munich trip is not to stay late in a pub over there or drive in crowded city centers, no worries. It'll be a relaxing day visiting some of the nicest spots in Munich and some LEGO shopping. It's actually a bit too early to discuss the Munich trip because we'll be talking first with some people to try to work out something special. Depending on how that goes our agenda of the day might look a bit different. More later
  7. We still have to check on the best way to visit Munich. Maybe there is a good train connection from a place on route from Gunzburg to Munich where we can leave the cars. Or we park somewhere near one of the LEGO brand stores (I believe they are outside of the city) and go from there to Munich city center with train/tram/subway. To be investigated.
  8. Super, looking forward meeting you!
  9. I have a big trunk in my car (Renauld Grand Scenic), so I can store sets for some of the smaller cars if needed I'll restrict my drinking to evenings only, no problem to eat (and only drink a coke) at the Hofbrauhaus.
  10. The third official Tournament or Retribution is a fact! This is a contest in which you can win fantastic prizes by making funny comics concerning the epic age-old rivalry between Redcoat and Bluecoat soldiers. The previous 2 tournaments were a big success, so we decided to have another one. Please read the rules and sign up!
  11. We are hoping to have enough cars to drive the group to Munich from Gunzburg. So if you come by car and wouldn't mind taking along some other eventees to Munich that'd be great
  12. Hi Dana, I really hope you can make it.
  13. Yes, I've read somewhere some time ago there was going to be a 2nd brand store in Munich. Maybe we should just visit them both There'll be more details on the Munich day once I had a change to talk with some people, soon
  14. Ecclesiastes is also coming from The Netherlands by car. Maybe he still has another free seat
  15. Yes, we'll ride together
  16. If you set the option to send you instant updates you get the link to the last post. Can you give that a try? But if you set it to provide you daily digest updates it provides the link to the topic. That makes sense as there can be many new posts since you read the topic and the email can't provide you the link to your last read post as that's stored on your PC in a cookie. I don't think that could have been any different before the upgrade.
  17. An amazing and in-dept review! Pictures can't get any clearer than these
  18. I don't want trouble with Bfenz -> first post updated
  19. We still have time, and I expect we'll have enough cars, but better to already ask now to avoid surprises. If you come by car you don't have to worry about driving to Munich alone, we'll fill your car with eventees ;-) Really hope you can make it! Let us know if/when you know for sure.
  20. Thanks! I'm also pretty excited about Munich. I have a book about the 1000 most interesting buildings to visit in the world and 3 of them are in Munich. One of those is the Hofbrauhaus, a very old 'beerhouse' that was frequented by royalty, Mozart, Empress Elizabeth (Sisi), Lenin, and also Hitler how gave here his first 'speech'. Here's a picture:
  21. I was thinking of giving this topic 2 weeks, to have a rough idea of who'll come, before we start grouping people. I prefer to have the non-snoring roommates
  22. Yes, I think so because a EB event is not like other events where MOCs are put on display. It more about having fun and hanging out with other AFOLs.
  23. Forgot to mention to let us know if you come by car. That's give us an idea if we have enough transportation from the Kirchenbauerhof to LEGOland and Munich
  24. Ah, I see you have set it to send digest notifications while I have configured to get instant notifications. I'll try it myself with the 'daily' option to see what that gives.
