Thanks for this explanation Jipay! Nobody is in a hurry to make changes to the pirate forum, but it is good to know that future improvements are possible.

Nathan, with castle and space you can really talk about "classic" for the early sets, but I never heard the term used for pirates. Or is this not correct?

For Bionicle and Exo-force I really have no idea, so I voted for the ones with the least votes (not to influence the vote to much). For castle, there is only one set that I would buy from the list: Classic Castle - 10176. Lego did a rather bad job with castle this year :-(

I voted Ferrari Finish Line. Not my favorite theme, but the best from the list.

Moby - The great escape

Currently I'm doing Network Design Consultancy for Telecom operators Designing their networks to be ready for Triple Play (internet, voice and video), support future services, business services (for banks, big companies), ... Currently I'm working for Jordan Telecom, so I have to fly to Amman from time to time. I do need a bigger place. I will have a special hobby room (=lego room) in my new house. I will certainly do my best not to disappear from the forum Mr. Phes!

Indeed we have. I didn't notice :-D . Thats what I like about eurobricks, you can go a bit off topic (not to much of course like this time). I noticed that on CC everything is much more formal (not that I'm posting much there, but I'm following some discussions).

I started a topic like this in the pirate forum some time ago. Well, my average monthly spending on Lego is $150. But this month it was over $500, so I will not be buying much the next months.

That building crane must be every kids dream. I'm not into city but still I would buy one.

You have been with eurobricks much longer than myself and you have the best judgment/view on this "political" stuff. Well, you already achieved something to be proud off ;-)

I know some users have a wrong idea about the pirate forum and even might have some negative feelings out it. But what's there motivation? Is it just of not? Have they given it lots of thought and are they fully objective? The move to a separate pirate forum was a major one. Afterwards, there came a separate Pirate MOC forum which was another step forward. Compared to all this, this last step is not so big and it could be seen as natural evolution. It will also prepare the pirate forum for having a pirate portal site.

I think the pirate forum is a very unique forum on the internet. So for eurobricks, it is in its best interest that it has the best possible structure to grow even more. Because the extra users that the pirate-forum will be attracting (by having a pirate portal website,...) will also find their way to the rest of the eurobricks forum. From the main eurobricks forum, the pirate forum will just look like the rest, with just 1 link. The Star Wars fans, Bionicle fans, .... will not be harmed in any way by this and we are not trying to get extra attention on the Eurobricks Main forum.

Why do you think that Mr. Phes? Have a better structure would be good for the entire Eurobricks forum!

I always found the stairs (2nd one) very intriguing. First time I see it in lego form.
