  1. That's also my idea. You should use some white and blue across the hull. The stern castle look nice however but the ship looks a bit unfinished.
  2. Sisters of Mercy - Under the gun
  3. Wow, that's one of the best MOC ships I have seen for a long time! If this was a real Lego set, I would immediatly go buy it. The colors are great, the sails look very good. The whaleboats are very original (I hadn't seen this been done before). While reading about how you made this ship, I decided to put a viking longboat on my x-mas list (I still had to suggest a gift to my mother :-)). The overall look of the ship is just perfect! Mr. Phes, Isn't this something for the eurobricks headlines?
  4. I voted for the Eldorado Fortress, but it could have also been the Imperial Trading Post. I don't own any of these 2 sets, but they are on the top of my list for next year!
  5. You're a mysterious man Mr. Tiber :-D
  6. Wow Mike, that looks like a great shop you have. Do you have some pictures of the interior (I only saw a small picture of your warehouse on your BL shop)?
  7. Tori Amos - Winter
  8. Rebel 1. X-Wing 2. UCS Rebel Blockade Runner Imperial 1. UCS Imperial Star Destroyer 2. UCS TIE Interceptor 3. Imperial AT-ST (2) However, since I'm going to focus more on Pirates (and have only limited space), I plan to sell my UCS Rebel Blockade Runner and UCS Imperial Star Destroyer.
  9. I have also been considering to buy the Durmstrang ship. The hull is very usefull for making a MOC ship.
  10. Are those mini-fig guns in the Star Wars sets new (e.g. Imperial Landing Craft)? The fire-station is really very nice (maybe the best ever).
  11. Nice looking ship! I specially like those guns under the wings.
  12. I would be very interested in this kind of sets. But I'm afraid that Lego will never make them...
  13. Ah yes, sister ship. That means they look almost identical?
  14. Now its becoming interesting. So there are 3 colors of flintlock muskets: Brown, Reddish brown, Black. But which ones are available in the old and new version? What I have seen so far: - Black: old (I have one) + new (seen on ebay) - Brown: old (I have) + new (seen on ebay). I have never seen one of the reddish brown color. But Mr. Tiber seems to have a new version of it. Has anybody seen an old versions of the reddish brown musket?
  15. Can you tell us something about the HMS Unclaimable Mr. Tiber. What class of ship is it?
  16. No Mr. Phes, you just wouldn't be yourself anymore. BTW, what is your favorite?
  17. Mr. Phes, you forgot to add the avator from Tully in the list. Or maybe you think we can just see his avatar in the first post in this thread (since it is started by Tully).
  18. Pink Floyd - Us and Them
  19. Here's my top 3: But I can't choose between them, they are all the same style and are all well done ... Good topic btw!
  20. Most of the time I buy old stuff on ebay. But this year I have put "7020 - Army of Vikings with Heavy Artillery Wagon" on my Christmas wishlist. It contains such a nice collection of minifigs.
  21. Not shipping a Greek temple to Greece :-D Looks like a very fine temple! Does it have an interior? If I had the right program to open the instructions I could see more details ...
  22. Nice little ship and a some good pictures. I like those little guns you have on the ship and the colors also combine very well. But if you see a ship-of-the-line, I suggest you try to outrun it ;-)
  23. That's a good idea Sir Norrington. I didn't think of that yet. Thanks!
  24. Nice of you to post this picture Mr. Sting. What a good looking minifig!
  25. Maybe Lego just wants to sell to kids only these days. So they might think that kids won't even notice such details, so why having the extra cost for printing on these torso's. A sad evolution :-(
