  1. This set looks very cohesive as Mr. Phes pointed out. And it's very colorful and alive. It has green (palm tree), red (parrot), ... I gave the review a 4/5! I do have 1 technical remark. The part the arrow is pointing at looks a bit artificial. The line is too straight. I'm no expert, but I hope you get the idea :-D
  2. That was also what I was thinking about when I saw your MOC. Lots of details for such a little MOC *y*
  3. Is your Black Pearl just a computer design or did you actually build it?
  4. Very useful index Mr. P.! I'll be posting some additions from time to time, but I'll let you manage the index. Is the technique of Mr. ZCerberus to make a mast higher also considered an accessory in some way? It's discussed here.
  5. Nice commercial and find! It will do a good job in convincing some to buy the MTT.
  6. Because of the discussions about the movie "The Ten Commandments" I just bought the DVD on ebay. I hope more historical vignettes are following Steve!
  7. I hope this won't happen to Mr. Hobbes! There will be hair all over the place :-D
  8. ImperialScouts showed us a link to an excellent Lego version of the USS Constitution by Ben Fleskes. Since this ship really deserved a separate thread, that discussion is moved to USS Constitution, A MOC by Ben Fleskes.
  9. I like how you create an island to give your MOCs a place in the world. It looks like there is still some room on that island for some great MOCs. You have pretty good MLCAD skills. I fully agree with what Hobbes and Starwars4J said about the fireplace. This design is also very useful for a present-day house. PS: I'm happy you didn't stay away for too long Mr. Tordenskjold ;-)
  10. It's very convenient to have all the Star Wars topics grouped in 1 forum! This is a great day for Eurobricks. You can count on me to give my thoughts on those beautiful MOCs that will be discussed here.
  11. This town has great potential, but I still needs some rebuilding after the last war ;-) But the building are looking good. I have a feeling the Imperial Soldiers are winning :-D
  12. That's a big MOC oo7. I like the shield generators. Not sure about the size (it's been about 2 years since I last saw those old SW-movies). Maybe I should plan another SW-night with some friends :-D Or even better, replace them by some snowtroopers!
  13. This looks impressive with those wings. So like a dragon, this battle machine has the ability to fly?

Normally we try to make the pics 800x600 (or 800xSomething for keeping the aspect ratio). This way they fit nicely on most peoples monitors. Here you can find a link to a "batch image resize" tutorial. Seems like a very flexible design and the colors are just perfect. The head is really well designed!
  15. Here's a good example of an American Pumper: The brickshelf library
  16. You're using a dynamic link and that's not allowed. This is the one you should use: http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/9126/spa0467yk7.jpg I would suggest resizing the image because it is rather big.
  17. The laundry is so funny :-D Great find. The balcony and the entrance are my favorite parts. This might happen because the Cafe Corner (when successful) is supposed to be the first of an entire line.
  18. The city fans are being lucky again. These truck are very decent and have some nice details (e.g. the sleeping compartment of the green truck). Is it to late for me to become a city collector? :-D If I had children, I would buy them these trucks.
  19. Rage against the machine - Killing in the name (a good song to start the day!)
  20. You're right Simon he never saw its completion, but the Arc was commissioned in 1806 after the victory at Austerlitz by Napoleon. Anyhow, this thread was about the Eiffel Tower. These pictures, taken during its construction have always intrigued me:
  21. Damn, I really like the Eiffel Tower, but Gustave only build his tower after Napoleons dead. So it's useless in a Napoleonic city. I want an Arc de Triomphe. (just following Asuka's example :-P )
  22. I'm afraid he lost interest in Lego (even stopped paying for that beautiful website). Maybe I can ask him to sell his army to me :-D
  23. I still can see the picture Joe. I only get the top part of it. Anyway, not being able to see those pics made me very curious to find out what's on them. Here is a resized version of the Golden Destroyer:
  24. Since this topic was recently revived by Mr. Mandalorian it came to my attention. Those new colors make these ships look much more realistic. Don't understand why TLC decided to add the blue. Other model-companies went for the gray-and-black scheme. Anyway, nice job Yoda! Looking forward to see the entire Armada.
  25. This would be an excellent pirate ship for a quiet sea like the Mediterranean sea. Very nice color scheme and I love those white hull sections.
