  1. Time to invite Ben Fleskes. I dropped him an email a minute ago. Let's wait and see if he will join our discussion.
  2. Why not, but where will you draw the line with the "links" page? In general, I suggest to try to limit the number of items in the "Menu".
  3. Maybe it is a good idea to put The Wikipedia Links on the pirate portal. Under Links --> Historic Reference?
  4. I never watched the Deadwood series, but that general story is a good looking MOC.
  5. Good to see the Lego version of John Locke :-D Reminds me I still have to watch some recorded episodes.
  6. Thanks! It's now part of The great pirate torso LIBRARY. Here is an example of a royal French soldier:
  7. The INDEX: Cannon MOCs and Index: Accessory MOCs both still need to be added to the portal. Question is, do they belong more into the MOC Galleries or Tutorials-sections? Well, they don't contain actual instructions, so my first idea would be to put them in the MOC Galleries. But I understand why Mr. Tedbeard would put them with the Tutorials. The smaller the MOCs, the easier they are to reproduce. I'll leave the final decision to the webmaster X-D
  8. Thanks for taking these pictures. The sphinx look greats. I might try to build a smaller version.
  9. Good idea, but it won't be easy to select them. Will we give preference to MOCs from our members when possible? Or do you want to be completely objective in the selection?
  10. I've no suggestions nor critiques. I see no way for improving this MOC and agree with everything that's already been said already. It is very well designed with lots of details everywhere and I like the overall look and feel!
  11. Could you elaborate a bit more on this Mr. LBaixinho? Currently we have several indexes for listing MOCs: Indexes - Libraries - Tutorials. I'm very interested in your feedback and suggestions!
  12. Happy birthday to the both of you! And Jipay, life can be great without a girlfriend. You have more time to do fun things.
  13. I didn't start yet with the interior, but the new Accessory Index will help me a lot . I plan to make some of those small MOCs by JoJo. But I need to order some parts to get all the pieces I need.
  14. Wow, that's an impressive MOC. I enjoyed watching those pictures. How long did it take to build this cathedral?
  15. Oeps, I didn't read the small letters... I rate the set 3/5! But what to do? I already voted!
  16. It was no trouble at all. But I also don't see much resemblance. It must be the "arms" :-D .
  17. I've solved the mystery. My Firefox gives the msg "The image http://www.tfu.info/protected.gif cannot be displayed, because it contains errors." (right click on the "www.TFU.info"-image --> Properties --> The alternate text contains this msg). But with IE it works. So I could finally see this mysterious image :-D I converted it from .jpeg to .gif so all problems would be fixed and uploaded it to my BS:
  18. You have a serious crew waiting. It will be hard to board this ship when there is an entire army on board. You have some great details here. The anchor, the mechanism to lower to small boats, ... Is it still possible to lift (move) the ship with that special Z piece in the hull? I mean: Is the hull still strong enough? The quarter deck is the part of the upper deck abaft the mainmast, including the poop deck when there is one. Usually reserved for ship's officers, guests, and passengers. (source: Wikipedia Ship Deck).
  19. I also like them and posted some comments on CC.
  20. That's also what I see. What are we supposed to see Mr. Brainbox?
  21. Nice army Mr. Dreamweb. Those prints seem of a very high quality. Did you use a laser printer? If I would have to guess (without starting an investigation) I would say they are Austrian. Would you be willing to share that torso design so I can add it to The great pirate torso LIBRARY. I've resized the picture a bit so I fits directly in the thread. Hope you don't mind.
  22. Ha, that Joshua. He's an ex-slave that was freed by the British. He now works in the garden of the governor as a free man. Joshua has 9 children, so although he's rather old (67 years), he still needs to work to earn money for his family. But the governor promised him a small piece of land where he can retire next year. So don't worry about him Mr. Phes ;-) . But what do you think about the house?
  23. The Governors House (WIP) - phase 1 (front): I'm finished with the changes on the front of the house. Here are the pictures: Just to have something to compare, here is a picture of the original creator set: Next I'll start working on the interior and the back of the house (which is just a big white wall at this moment). Let me know what you think!
  24. Sure! It's been in the Wikipedia links for some time now (under the title: United States of America).
  25. It a cash thing and I don't have enough space. My UCS Imperial Star Destroyer is stored at my grandmothers place and my UCS Rebel Blockade runner in somewhere in the our cellar :-/.
