Dammit! I just got bad news regarding the ebay auction I won for the Imperial Trading Post. Here's the email from the seller I received: I hope I get my money back as promised. I've paid 100 euro + 17 euro for shipment. Not really on-topic, but I have to get this out of my system.

First of all, great review! I voted 5/5 for this phenomenal set. This was the first pirate set I bought when I returned from my dark ages. During my youth I never had the funds to acquire this set so I was happy to finally get one. Some months ago, I bought a second BSB on ebay which is still in the box. My conclusion: This set is one of the best Lego sets ever!

I'm also interested in a Nelson torso, but would prefer a 2 arm version.

Wow Captain! This is a very refreshing design. And even better, you plan to build an entire port. This looks great, almost perfect (but I would also remove the shield). What other buildings have you planned for the port?

I changed the names for the links but I never use a thumb as a link for an entire gallery. Wouldn't know which picture to choose.

Right now, this thread only contains 1 link to the instructions of a pirate MOC. If we could find more instructions, it would be worthwhile developing this index like the others. Especially for smaller creations, users might be tempted to try some instructions. You sentry box is a good example. So, does anyone have instructions that could be added to this index?

You did a good job integrating the house with this baseplate. In which official set was this baseplate used? Anyway, nice creation and lots of details in the facade of the house. Do you have plans to build this MOC with real bricks?

The box does have some value to me. And I don't have enough space at the moment to display all my sets, so it is convenient to store them in a box (preferable the original box). But sometimes I doubt it is really worthwhile spending all that extra money to get the set including the box. What do you think?

Jep, that's exactly what happend :-D . I was actually looking at all the newest MOCs on BS and suddenly discovered this fortress. At first I just wanted to put it in the Islander Index and keep quiet about it, but we didn't see many Islander MOCs lately, so I just posted it in the MOC forum.

It will be shipped with DHL from Germany. I might have it in about a week from now. It was rather expensive but I won't mind as long a it is in perfect condition as promised. Now I'll start hunting for an Eldorado Fortress (including box).
