  1. Done! Those Russians look awesome! Btw, did the Mamelukes have a special uniform in the French army?
  2. They need to be adjusted to the right size. But that only takes a minute. You never tried one of the custom decals? I recommend to give it a try.
  3. Very recognizable and frighting! :-D
  4. I never did any sculpting, but seeing your works makes me wanna try myself. These customs are really top quality!
  5. Voyna i mir is now on top of my list and I'll start searching on ebay for the movie. I finally put all the torso's in the Great pirate torso LIBRARY. Let me know if I have made some mistakes.
  6. Welcome Back Mr. Tiber! Did you work on some pirate MOCs last month?
  7. The HMS Victory (Nelsons ship) is also still in active service in the British navy. Nowadays it is used as a museum.
  8. That white/brown ships look very good. I would like some close-up pics but I guess they don't exist. The mansion is a bit bigger than my version :-D. And it has such an impressive garden.
  9. Maybe the browser is unhappy with the long name of the .jpg. Anyway, I've made the name shorter and put it in BS. Now it should be visible.
  10. Do you mean that yellow parrot?
  11. Should the Trading Post be seen as a historic building in your modern town? Like a tourist attraction?
  12. You are a real expert in presenting your MOCs! The way you add these backgrounds makes them look like they are official sets. About the MOC, it looks very good. Nice design, colors, details!
  13. Welcome cpt.cool! You've made a very original MOC. Showing the surface and bottom of the sea in 1 MOC is not easy to do. We see these hidden treasures of the sea while the minifigs in the rowboat are not aware of what lies beneath their feet. I love the concept! I took the liberty to put an image in your first post.
  14. Welcome here Mr. Wyvern! I've already been 3 times in Singapore for my job. Great country/city! What can you tell us about yourself?
  15. This is really an interesting thread! While we wait for the Russian torso's, we have a chance to learn how we all got interested in the Napoleonic wars and history. It's great to read all these stories!!
  16. Someone has invested some serious time to make this. Nice find!
  17. But there is still a problem with the links to the tutorials from Classic-Pirates.com. Maybe the site admin can have a look at this? Not bad for a first ship. My first ship didn't look this good :-D . Will you post some pictures with the crew on the ship?
  18. I thinks this is a rather good start. The MOC will look very different once you have more blue plates for the water and added some vegetation (as suggested by Mr. Phes). I don't really mind the mixing of gray, bley or yellowed gray. It gives the MOC a realistic touch.
  19. Seeing these old space sets bring back lots of good memories. I still have many of these old sets, but the pieces are spread over several boxes. That's a nice gift you got. It even has the original box and instructions. I like those very big engines. It makes this ship look very fast. The space-logo on the minifig is exceptionally well preserved, most (all?) of my old space minifigs are not in such a good shape as this one.
  20. Very good review! The pictures are very sharp and the light is perfect. I won't have any money this year to spend on SW (building a house), but this is certainly a set with a very high playability factor and a must-have for the SW-fans.
  21. Welcome at Eurobricks Mofo Jones! California is a place I hope to visit one day. Having you here makes it feel a bit closer ;-) B.
  22. Radiohead - No surprises
  23. No need for apologies ;-) So do you recommend buying Voyna I Mir? Does it contain some realistic sized armies? Are the actors doing a good job? What got you so interested in the Napoleonic period Mr. Mosana? I'm still waiting with great anticipation to see those pictures of your army Mr. Fordo.
  24. I have this movie (seen it any times), but not the extra's. Are they worth buying the DVD? I've always been interested in the Napoleonic wars (and especially the British navy in the same period). Since I only live 1 hour drive away from the battlefield of Waterloo, I make an excursion nearly every year. When I was younger, my grandparents used to go there with me on Sundays to visit the "Lion". I also visited the "L' Hotel des Invalides" when I was on a school trip (in Paris) where you can see all those great uniforms of the Napoleonic wars. And next to it is the "Dome des Invalides" which contains the grave of Napoleon. Those visits made a big impression, so I started exploring more and eventually started to use Lego to recreate some of the battles and armies. When I search the Internet Movie Database for this movie, I got several versions that are made in different years. Which one are you referring to? What languages are spoken in the movie?
  25. Yes, I'm also a member of the MCN. I already gave Mr. Mosana the link to their color guide. But there are no Napoleonic war fans like you have here. This place is where the spirits of Wellington, Napoleon and Blucher still live. This forum is as close as you will ever get to meeting them :-D . Besides, soon I'll ask the admins to rename this forum the Mosana Customisation Network. ;-).
