  1. Suppose you can buy a secondhand set with and without the box on ebay/bricklink. Would you be willing to pay more for the set when it is still in the original box? Howmuch more? How important is this box for you? And why is it important/not important? I ask this because I plan to buy some old sets on ebay and there are huge differences in price when a box is included. Now I'm doubting if it is worth to spend all that extra money to have boxed sets.
  2. I have printed some more torso's and applied them on some figs. During the weekend I'll print the Czar Alexander I fig and take some pictures.
  3. Your's looks just right since it is an evening scene. I might have spoken in haste about your avatar's face oo7. The shade on the face seems accurate (and necessary) because of the hat.
  4. It's a very innovative idea! Again you have proven worthy of your title Mr. Z.
  5. Thanks for answering, because I had no idea who was the original owner of my Napoleons face :-D .
  6. Great idea to make the windows like you did! This is something I will remember for one of my future creations.
  7. I dont' really mind the different colors. It gives me the impression that this AT-ST has seen some battle and is field proven. To me the scale looks right, but I'm just a moderate SW fan. Good idea to share this MOC.
  8. It's rather late (I know) but... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  9. Congrats to the winners and the Brickster for the perfect organization of this contest!
  10. This is one of the best reviews I have ever seen! Man, this set is good. The beast looks good, but then there are all these droids, weapons, ... TLC is learning what the fans want and they start providing it!
  11. Yes, you are 100% right. Won't happen again!
  12. When I discovered the EB forum, I had just finished the first part of my Napoleonic army. That same day I wanted to start a thread to show some pictures of my army. I had to choose a name, so I just took "bonaparte", since he is the commander of my army. If I had started with my English army, my name might have been Wellington :-D.
  13. I like those green sails and the "big" windows. Well, this proves that a ship doesn't have to be big to look good. And a good color scheme can do a lot. Pirates often used small ships that were populated by a large crew to have enough manpower to board larger ships.
  14. I like historic accuracy, but there are some exception. This is one of those exceptions, because you've put great effort in presenting your factions in a believable manner. And its nice to see you have been playing with the colors of some of the torso's from the library. That bird (is it an eagle?) on the Napoleon torso looks really good.
  15. Looks very good. I even like the green seats. The ramp is my favorite part. What an army you have! I'm impressed.
  16. Metallica - Until it sleeps
  17. Yeah, I deleted my post because writing how expensive and rare the shako's and imperial soldiers are becoming was depressing me a bit. Sorry to make it look like you double posted ;-)
  18. I'm impressed every time I see a new update of this ship. My mouth spontaneously opens and my head moves closer to my screen (to better see the pics).
  19. Mmmmm, it will be a bit different. Mine is a bit more modest . Besides, this garden is too big for Joshua to maintain ;-). You might accuse me of something :-D .
  20. Wow, more birthday presents! Shako's are expensive indeed. Last year you could find them below $2 on BL. But this year the prices seem to go up. Some ask really crazy money for them. I still have a small supply of 10 pieces for future needs.
  21. Your army is growing nicely! Getting new soldiers is one of the best birthday presents I can imagine. How big would you like this army to become?
  22. Thanks! I've read the article during my work break. Interesting to learn something new about the history of Mexico.
  23. Wow, I didn't know that Playmo was also used for army building. These Alamo pics are impressive! I wonder if those figs are as expensive as the Lego Imperial Soldiers ($5) and if they are also very rare/hard to find.
  24. This is an incredible result considering the hull that was used to build this ship. I have never seen this been done before. Very original idea. Was this the one you used?
  25. It's the first time I hear about that battle. Do you have some more background information? Good use of b&w to give this MOC an historic touch.
