This is one of the better ports/city's I have seen on this forum for some time now.
It all looks very good, I love the harbor with all it's details.
But the city/street behind the harbor is even more impressive.
If I have to make one suggested for improving something, it would be that white tower of the fortress.
It needs some more details, maybe some vegetation, a window, ...
Time to say something about this little set before this review gets moved to the Set Review-forum. This is a very small set that would only be useful to me because of its parts and most important, the mini-figs. That islander fig is awesome, but because of the price of this set, it is not very useful to collect a large amount of these figs. I've never owned this set because it was release when I was still in my dark ages.
Mr. Phes did an awesome job with this review as always !
The first one is my favorite of the 2 fortresses.
Nice color combinations. The same as the Eldorado fortress but you added red to the color scheme.
The second one is not bad, but I'm not a big fan of those black walls.
On my side, the load time is not a problem. It's very fast.
Mr. Tiber is updating the torso-library since a month or so, but that's certainly possible.
The functioniality is certainly ok.
I'm looking at this version of the generator btw: http://members.cheese.at/woody/minifig-gen...nifig-gen3.html
I hope that's the correct one.
Is it possible to make the area of the minifig (the combination image of the torso, head, ...) a bit smaller?
There is a lot of room around the minifig that could be better used to make the middle field (the one with the torso's) a bit wider.
I think that can be arrange, but I'll get Mr. Phes into this discussion since he's owner and creator of classic-pirates.com. I would like to hear his remarks and suggestions on all this and the way forward.
Your ship is looking better and better!
Really, those changes you are doing improve it a lot.
I even think we should headline it on www.classic-pirates.com once it is finished.
I really like your harbor/dock.
Its a good idea to make the part in the back a bit higher.
Looks very realistic that way. Like it is build against a hill.
And those building also look very nice.
Especially this first one on the left (the stockade) looks good.

I must have misunderstood David's explanation.
Anyway, the ship looks much better after the color modifications.
You found the right balance between red and black.
I did, but my graphical skills are still rather limited compared to some others on EB.
But I'm improving... slowly... :-D
If he doesn't find this thread by himself in a few days, I'll leave him a PM.
