Grats on your purchase. I got it at 7, best set ever. Sadly lost the rubber tubes many years ago. -

My comment is just a general observation to explain de few millimiters of clearance in the front -

About the suspension range, I don't know if it has already been said. but the model looks to be screwed to the platform so perhaps it was a bit too tight and the suspension was already compressed. -

You are going to need a ton of buckets -

I'd like to build a thrust ball bearing using the new parts by sandwiching some steel balls in between. The groove looks too deep and narrow for a steel ball small enough to fit for a two stud high bearing. Do you think 9mm or perharps 10mm steel balls (to achieve 3 stud heigh) could roll over the groove without getting loose? -

The weak point is probably the hubs, those look just like 42039 hubs, not 8880 worthy. -

Any speculation on the knob gears? Strange location. -

I don't see those rubber studs that "70317 The Fortrex" has on its tracks. Disappointing -
My preferences are Dark blue, White, Orange, Black. However beyond the color of this set my concern is whether the wheel arches will be available just in the color of the car. No more sets that can take advantage of that part until 2017 -if any by then- so white is probably the better option given the high number of white panels currently available.

I don't think it is bending, it looks like wide angle lens distortion. -

Just not AFOLs if they make something like the box shown every kid will want it. An even parents will feel more compelled to buy such a set even if expensive rather than the BWE for example. It just looks amazing. -

I see two new panels, the wheel arches and the 3x7? curved ones. I hope we get color options on those as soon as possible. Anyways this one is screaming vinyl customization. It is a NFS Most Wanted wet dream. if those stickers aren't included in the set TLG should release a template so anyone can make their own. -

There is not much room below the archs so suspension must be short travel and quite stiff. 1 stud travel? Perhaps even less as the chasis seems to be 1 stud over the ground but the body is almost touching it. It indeed looks to have two XL motors at the rear but cant see battery pack or receivers. 30 studs wide? 62 studs long? 19 studs tall? -

I wish. And If not just make it available as a pre-order for those willing to get it before the final release is out, as a special edition -

The box looks amazing like that. Now I am worried that any change they make might not be an improvement. And mind you I like those stickers and the black color.... go figure. I hope a 41999 style box, this looks so good... -

BTW those rims...does the pivot seem to be way inner than in previous lego rims? The price I am not sure hos is justified without more details, perhaps there are some motors in there...
