  1. This is a C model, which was designed by MELong (https://rebrickable.com/users/MeLong/mocs/) The LEGO Technic Race Truck 42164 C Model delivers an adrenaline-packed building experience and an exhilarating playtime for enthusiasts of all ages. As a proud owner of this set, I can attest to its ingenuity, attention to detail, and sheer fun factor. Firstly, the building process itself is a joyride. The instructions are clear and concise, guiding you through each step of the assembly with ease. The use of Technic elements adds an extra layer of complexity, perfect for those craving a more intricate build. Once completed, the Race Truck impresses with its sleek design and robust structure. The vibrant colour scheme, featuring a striking combination of grey, black, yellow and blue, immediately catches the eye. But the true magic begins when you put the Race Truck to the test on the imaginary racetrack. Its robust construction ensures durability during play, allowing for high-speed manoeuvres, sharp turns, and thrilling races against other LEGO vehicles. The lever on the rear of the cabin controls the steering which I find to be an interesting method and something I will consider for my future builds. In conclusion, the LEGO Technic Race Truck 42164 C Model offers a thrilling blend of building and play experiences that will captivate LEGO enthusiasts of all ages. Whether you're a seasoned LEGO veteran or a newcomer to the world of Technic, this C model promises hours of exhilarating entertainment that will leave you craving for more adventures on the racetrack. https://paulbtechnic.blogspot.com/2024/02/lego-technic-42164-race-truck-c-model.html

  4. This set might just tempt me to get more in to these types and scale :)
  5. You have done really well to scale this down so much.
  6. That is very cool. I am working on an offroad truck and this has some really good ideas.
  7. You should be very pleased and proud of this, it is simply excellent.
  8. I would love something like the unimog, where you can build and add different attachments. It would be great if TLG sold some of these.
  9. I am 100% not buying this set but I am still keen to read the first review and see how good or bad it really is. The price could be accepted IF it was the perfect set.
  10. I am really keen to see how this works out.
  11. Thank you for the feedback. I have ended up pulling this part to use the parts for another MOC.
  12. You have done really well. Not a set many of us will ever own so you have done well to shrink this down.
  13. I was hoping somebody would do this one. Looks great.
  14. You have done really well to get this down so small.
  15. This is coming along really well. I am not going to join in this challenge but I am really enjoying following the progress of all the builds.
  16. This is one set I really regret selling, I am keen to see how you go with this.
  17. Well done, this is awesome. A great design and looks excellent.
  18. MOC - Multi Use Vehicle - Lift and Carry Crane Recently I have built the C model of LEGO Technic set 42138, this is a lift and carry crane attachment. This is based on this: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-103253/Boomdidit/42138-telehandler/#details After building this, I was not 100% happy with this, so I decided to update and improve this. After making some changes, I decided that I wanted to use this as the base for some different attachments. This attachment is a lift and carry crane attachment. This features: - Lifting via the lever beside the cabin It can be easily removed by pulling out the two axels.

  20. I have recently designed and built another C model, using LEGO Technic set 42147, this is a fully functional model of a road grader. Given the limit parts I had, I am very happy with how this has turned out. First and foremost, the design and building process was enjoyable and given the limited parts, some decisions needed to be made around what features were included. These are: - Hand of God steering, via the grey knob on the front of the road grader. - Blade lifting and lowering, via the black gear on the side. One thing I did struggle with was getting the blade to stay up, what I ended up doing was adding a beam from near the rear wheels which locks this in to place via the gear inside the main body. I was hoping to add the rear rippers but ran out of parts. I am very happy with how this turned out and and it another model to add to me 42147 C model collection.
