  1. Wow, this has come together really well. Another great build from you.
  2. Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3) - Attachment - Road Roller I have recently been working on designing and building another attachment for my Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3, this is a road roller. It has one feature, the roller is raised and lowered via the black gear on the top of it. It connects to a worm gear and 8 tooth gear for the lifting mechanism. This use the same new mounting system as my other front mounted attachments. Due to the weight of it, I have had to add some extra bracing to the front of the chassis to brace this and support the weight better. 3. As somebody who see's these all the time on the road, I am keen to see how this comes along for you.
  4. That could easily be an official set :) I would go as far as to say this is one of the best C models I have ever seen.

It connects via the rear tow bar.

  7. Wow, that is a very unique vehicle. I love the level of detail in this and how well the features work.
  8. Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3) - Attachment - Loading Forks I have recently been working on designing and building another attachment for my Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3, this is a set of loading forks. It has one feature, the forks are raised and lowered via the black gear on the top of it. It connects to a worm gear and 8 tooth gear for the lifting mechanism. These use the same new mounting system as my other front mounted attachments.
  9. LEGO Technic Off Road Multi Function Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3) Attachment - Front Dozer Blade V2 Recently I have spent some time designing and building a new attachment system for the front of my Offroad Multifunction Truck MK3, this allows for different attachments to be used and share the same lifting mechanism and mounting points. My first attachment for this was a redesign of my front dozer blade. With V2, it attaches via these standard mounting points and can be raised and lowered via the black gear on the top, which connects to a worm gear and drives a 8 tooth gear. This works well and these standard mounting points will be used for all my front mount attachments going forward. 11. That looks great, the purple really makes it stand out :)
  12. Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3) - Attachment - Rubbish Bin Loader Recently I was able to spend some time working on designing and building a rubbish bin loader attachment for my LEGO Technic Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3). Features: * Lifting Mechanism. Controlled via the green lever on the rear. This also works as a crusher. * Top cover opens via green lever on the side. * Rear Tailgate opening. * Pin from tailgate also used to lock the bin arm in place when emptying the rear area. Overall I am very happy with this. The functions all work well and it has a good play factor. Photos and Video: https://paulbtechnic.blogspot.com/2024/08/off-road-multifunction-truck-mk3_8.html
  13. Has anybody else noticed this? :(
  14. This is simply amazing, I might just buy this set now, just to be able to build this.
  15. LEGO Technic 42165 - C Model - Dragster I have recently spent some time designing and building a c model based on LEGO Technic set 42165, this is a dragster. This is built using only the parts from set 42165 and does not use any of the spare parts. Features:| * Pull Back Motor Function. * Steering connected to the control in the cabin. Overall, this took about 3 hours of rough design work and research and around 5 hours over two days for the building process and to make some improvements. Due to the limit amount of parts, some design compromises had to be made and some areas are not as "finished" as I would like. As a C model, I think it has come out really well. Spare parts left over from the build. Photos: https://paulbtechnic.blogspot.com/2024/08/lego-technic-42165-c-model-dragster.html
  16. it is great to watch some of these reviews and see the differences of ideas and opinions on this. I am still on the fence, it would my first large set in a few years.
  17. Hi. What does it take to call yourself a professional LEGO builder? If you are paid to design and build MOC's, does that count?
  18. It seems to me that most posts are about the new sets, I try to reply on posts about mods.
