  1. Well done, that is well built and has a very professional look about it.
  2. For the price, this seems like "okay" value. I might grab it as a parts pack.
  3. I saw this in person this week, not a fan at all. At least last year's had something decent about the looks.
  4. I just got this the other day, built it and have written a small review. https://paulbtechnic.blogspot.com/2025/03/review-lego-technic-42203-tipping-dump.html
  5. I’ve been an avid LEGO Technic fan for many years, but my journey with the theme has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Over the last few years, I’ve come and gone from the hobby a few times—what I’d call "mini dark ages"—where my interest has waned. During those periods, I’ve focused more on other hobbies like radio DXing and electronics, but I’ve always been drawn back to Technic for the creativity and engineering challenges it offers. Recently, I decided to take another look at what LEGO Technic has been offering, especially with the 2025 sets being leaked/revealed. Honestly? I felt sadness. This is what the theme has come to? The lack of innovation, repetitive designs, and questionable choices for flagship sets have left me feeling completely disheartened. The excitement I used to feel when a new Technic wave was announced just isn’t there anymore. I had been toying with the idea of picking up the 42177 or revisiting one of the classic Unimogs as a sort of final Technic adventure. The thought of building a Unimog—a proper, functional model—still holds some appeal. But even now, I’m unsure if it’s worth it. Should I put in the time, effort, and money for a theme that no longer inspires me? It feels like the magic of Technic has been lost, and I can’t help but wonder if this really will be my last hurrah. Maybe it’s time to accept that the LEGO Technic I once loved has changed, and move on to other projects that excite and fulfill me. I’d love to hear from others—are you feeling the same way? Have the recent and upcoming sets been a letdown for you too? Or is there something I’m missing?
  6. That is very cool and very well designed.
  7. Wow, this has come together really well. Another great build from you.
  8. Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3) - Attachment - Road Roller I have recently been working on designing and building another attachment for my Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3, this is a road roller. It has one feature, the roller is raised and lowered via the black gear on the top of it. It connects to a worm gear and 8 tooth gear for the lifting mechanism. This use the same new mounting system as my other front mounted attachments. Due to the weight of it, I have had to add some extra bracing to the front of the chassis to brace this and support the weight better. More photos and a video are here: https://paulbtechnic.blogspot.com/2024/08/off-road-multifunction-truck-mk3_13.html
  9. As somebody who see's these all the time on the road, I am keen to see how this comes along for you.
  10. That could easily be an official set :) I would go as far as to say this is one of the best C models I have ever seen.
  11. Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3) - Attachment - Disc Plough I have recently been working on designing and building another attachment for my Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3, this is a disc plough It has one feature, the discs are raised and lowered via the black levet on the top of it. It connects via the rear tow bar.
  12. Should be soon, I have made a video with what I would like to see come out ;) https://paulbtechnic.blogspot.com/2024/08/lego-technic-2025-my-wishes-and-ideas.html
  13. Wow, that is a very unique vehicle. I love the level of detail in this and how well the features work.
  14. Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3) - Attachment - Loading Forks I have recently been working on designing and building another attachment for my Off Road Multifunction Truck MK3, this is a set of loading forks. It has one feature, the forks are raised and lowered via the black gear on the top of it. It connects to a worm gear and 8 tooth gear for the lifting mechanism. These use the same new mounting system as my other front mounted attachments.
  15. LEGO Technic Off Road Multi Function Truck MK3 (ORMFTmk3) Attachment - Front Dozer Blade V2 Recently I have spent some time designing and building a new attachment system for the front of my Offroad Multifunction Truck MK3, this allows for different attachments to be used and share the same lifting mechanism and mounting points. My first attachment for this was a redesign of my front dozer blade. With V2, it attaches via these standard mounting points and can be raised and lowered via the black gear on the top, which connects to a worm gear and drives a 8 tooth gear. This works well and these standard mounting points will be used for all my front mount attachments going forward.
