    I twisted my own arm today...... Unusual design.....a tow truck with no string on a reel and with a hook, but I it......beefy as but still quite realistic.

    Thanks for your kind words 'beeman101' and 'Captain Braunsfeld', one of the reasons why I build stuff like this is to show what such places in Oz are like or at least similar too......i consider it my art and also my madness to keep me sane. I'm not sure if I'll have any visual updates to Monday at the moment because the wife is home for the entire weekend so no Lego building at home unless I burn the midnight oil......keep watching anyway.

    Thanks 'Cagast', I try to use only a small number of stickers.....on the outside just to say what the particular building or vehicle is though on the inside of the shops there is of course a bit more stickering to sell the idea of being a store apart from the standard minifig accessories and brick built items. Working on a pier on LDD.....oop's gave away one of the many things to come.....keep watching !

    Thank you 'Lind Whisperer', I pride myself on selling the real world as it would be in LEGO.....I'm currently working on the corner by the IGA store.....updating again soon. So you know the drill !

    By chance I bumped into the Lego rep for SA this morning, the city range was split in half with the reminder of sets for January becoming available next week sometime. Plus he was sheepish when I asked about Scooby Doo.......hmm....

    After four buildings time to link them together and this topic is where they'll all meet up.....Main Street. Totally different than all my other main streets in the last five years of New Mannum's changing face. Keep watching.....there is more coming at both ends of the street.

    Maybe at NY toy fair perhaps........we'll see, but who knows Lego springs surprises on the world sometimes to keep us on our toes.

    Interesting idea, though I'm not sure if road trains would be that long and with such trailers......we in Oz use to seeing road trains which are main freight trucks carrying goods say up to Darwin or across parts of Western Australia. Brick On Truck On 'erlogerik' !

    Makes sense, since many of Lego's stores overseas are in shopping centres.

    I prefer visiting Sydney over Melbourne, but I'll go where the store is......though Melbourne is only 9 to 10 hours drive from Adelaide.

    And in other news.......Melbourne is to the home of all A-league, NRL, NBL, Big Bash League and perhaps also the new home of the UN ! No, only joking.....but that's the way it seems to a South Aussie.....yeah, we are still a little ticked off the Vic's stole the GP from us......but one day ! Now back on topic, I wonder what the local exclusive is going to be at Brickvention.......man, one of these days I might make it to Melbourne from it !
