    I brought one and I'm very happy with the design.......and if someone does like the nose on......brick build one to replace......we are AFOL's aren't we ? No, seriously the old green freight train end up becoming my SAR 501, so perhaps at the right price buy one even just for the parts and track.

    Might sound funny but I'm an anti-nerd........I build Lego, love watching classic sci-fi and know stuff about Star Wars and Star Trek.

    What I would like to see is a cross between real life medieval and fantasy.......a touch of Merlin and toss in Robin Hood.

    Well, they second most famous of the classic DW villains......of course number one is reserved for....... And who thinks really......that Doctor will be number 13 as a minifig ? The clue is in the very first post......he looks very much like number 13.

    Well, I guess they are either finalising the minifigs so that the show's actors are happy with them or leaving it to NY Toy Fair or SD Comic Con or something ?

    Oh, I was just generalising on Lego Ideas.......WALL-E is not nerdy really, but just about every other approved project is. The question is how big is he going to be and what price will Lego set for our little hero ?

    I would say a more simple Tardis with a collection of heroes and villains.......a cyberman would have to be among the villains.

    Ah, my source was correct...gee, though I'm not sure if all 13 doctors will make an appearance like I was told months ago. Anyway, read between the lines in way and does everyone think that this is Minecraft MkII.......one Ideas set followed perhaps a wave or three of licensed sets ? One can only hope........I really want to get a Tom Baker Doctor and K-9 ! Even more hope that Top Gear might happen too..........so I can have the Stig Vs Darth Vader in a display ! I guess we'll have to wait to see what the set will contain in a few months time......my guess again will be it will be shown at a Comic Con along the way in 2015.

    Well, this was a no-brainer.......the Lego-Disney deal plus add that the designer worked on the original film.......hello, gee it didn't take much to get this one through ! I guess also Lego had to......since the Minion's got tossed in the shock horror Mega Bloks arena.... ! This might actually do well......especially with TFOL's who remember the film. But I hate to say that it appears Lego Ideas seem to approve sets that are for sorry to say this.......Nerds.

    Just remember even with the advances in technology people still want to do things old school........point to note is music.......lots of people have iPod's and still lots of people have record players and tape decks. So Lego shouldn't be worried about 3-D printers......heck, they might use them in the prototyping of new parts. I also wonder if Lego is going to release a large scale city set either once a year or every two years......if so are they going to get even larger ?

    Detailing and action/movement......that get the kids and grown-ups attention......that's what I do. I have a train that runs around my town layout......so trains and Power Functions really draw the crowds in.
