  1. Yeah, the city I live in is next to the Southern Ocean.......cities in the ocean......Atlantis !
  2. After finishing the helicopter set I decided to buy this......
  3. Since I got lucky with one dollar yesterday (won 150 bucks with one dollar) I decided to buy......
  4. Thanks 'Alasdair', I have some surprises coming and one you'll like being a technic inspired builder. Keep watching !
  5. I too am a diehard city collector or maniac, the Arctic subtheme.....I'll say it again.....this subtheme doesn't go with city at all. As an action subtheme, yes. Look I study geography many years ago and have an interest in my own state......we have farms just thirty km's from the CBD and once had mining in the 19th century in our foothills, some things not city-ish can work as a city set. Though now space and polar research.....ah, no.......for some fun Lego could release an ATM set for the polar subtheme.....there are ATM's in Antarctica - serious....... there are two Wells Fargo ATM's.
  6. Now that raised a smile on my face...........but who and where is that lion ? Their off to see the wizard...... Brick On 'AC Pin' !
  7. Very nice modular indeed 'thomassio', I can see a little inspiration from the green grocer coming though......though this is much bigger ! I really do like it.........Brick On 'thomassio' !
  8. Excellent looking creation......so many characters visiting the petting zoo even the local butcher......looking for fresh meat ? Brick On 'L-space' !
  9. Today I discovered a problem, the street is so long and joined together that I forgot how I'm ever going to transport it for shows. Tomorrow I'll have hopefully the footpaths, curbing, etc., done......as long as I can get more 2x4 tiles. Any suggestions for a new old hotel/pub are welcome......that's next on the NM build list. Keep watching !
  10. Thanks for the review 'TomatoSoup', I like this version of this fighter and a new Skywalker.....my son is holding out for another ROTS Anakin. I'm trying to think back, but does this one seem more detailed ? Anyway, it's on the shopping list for my son's birthday.....Brick On Review On 'TomatoSoup' !
  11. I agree, excellent engineering there 'Lok24'......makes me want to design my own automated crossing too. Brick On 'Lok24' !
  12. Well, we might be both assuming at the moment......we all haven't seen what's around the back yet, so maybe it's best to leave any judgement on the set till we see more of it....not one frontal image.
  13. It's not, my point was detailing......not worrying about the inside only the outside is what it seems the creator designers are worried about.....though it doesn't stop us AFOL's for doing a better job right ?
  14. Now that's what I call UCS scale ! The detailing is fantastic.......I wonder what Mega-you-know-what think about eh ? Brick On 'Mark' !
  15. Mission Galactica.....ah, old school BSG......yes, please ! (not that 2003 family-UN-friendly series stealing ideas from so many other shows ) We could do with a Lloyd Bridges minifig......a sci-fi version of General Patton.
  16. Which is not really what the expert series does now......full on detailing both inside and out are the call of the day with the creator expert range. Though I get the feeling the bike shop/cafe is inspired by the old ideas book town building suggestions........a bit of back to the future.
  17. Ha, I like it......someone going for a spin eh ? Brick On 'capkalu' !
  18. My gut feeling the ice breaker will appear at Legoworld like if memory serves me correct the coast guard plane set was featured last year.......plus I hope a surprise city set like town square or parking station.
  19. A fresh street view now.....still as you can see a lot to come so keep watching !
  20. Thanks 'henrylego', I have installed the bank in the street scape......the rest of the detailing will come later......I must get the some more footpaths down now.......more parts....oh, well, keep watching !
  21. Thanks 'LWT' and 'Dayton' for your kind words......now I have done the extra work to the exterior.....still I must do a little bit on the inside......keep watching !
  22. Thanks 'sin' for your kind words, I'll be finishing this off today so I can start on the next NM building.......keep watching !
  23. Remember before city was town hence a beach set or the Canyon Creek set can be tied to a local town or very near a city.........but rocket launch pads and polar research bases......not really found with in the limits of city or just out of ? Anyway it's only a week or so before Legoworld and we find out what surprises the City designers have install for us.
  24. Excellent designing there 'ScotNick', looks a little too quiet though.....some people visiting the gravesides is my only suggestion. Brick On 'ScotNick' !
  25. Great work 'PeterPNL', the pickup truck is the best one in my opinion........Brick On !
