    Now I compared the MOC'ed gas station from last years display and this years one on display......they are a bit different, less parts to this one with a colour patterning of current Octan sets......question is.....is it real or another flight-of-fancy by the city designers ? (my hope is it's real, but our hopes were dashed last year ) One interesting thing is new stickers, but same old price board stickers ? Scanning over those images....I haven't finished doing yet , I see no new sets apart from ones from current ones to a few years back. Edit - I just spied what sadly would be a MOC from the designers, but so cool........a heavy duty railway crane/digger with wagon on the back (battery box)....it's PF'ed.....man, I need better pictures of it !

    I noticed on the ice breaker there is a swing-out ladder just in case they get stuck in the ice and need to get off the ship.

    Yes and the windows across the front of the bridge are smaller than the ones on the side ? Now that Octan station is not the same MOC from one of the actual city designers from last year ?

    From that one image I couldn't see a number......fingers crossed it's not another flight of fancy by one of the city designers like last years Octan station. Do they have the trains on display yet ?

    Thanks and bingo .......ice breaker based around the stand ship haul....okay, and it's purpose is supply ship though that chopper is a little odd looking. Plus a twin propeller plane......but is that an additional snow vehicle to go with ? (it's towing a sled with supplies on it)

    Very nice layout 'keswandhana', a cool collection of classic town, a few city and a couple modulars too. I like the MOC two storey shops/offices next to the bank......any other images of those ? Brick On 'keswandhana' !

    Yes, the Arctic ice breaker and another sneaky set they stick in the city layout as well.......ah, well......play the waiting games we must.

    It's not uncommon to see in some stores in Oz to see Halo sets sitting near Lego Star Wars sets. But we all know who has the power.......Lego is a huge global brand like many others like Coca Cola and Microsoft.....which in a way they can call the shots......though the last two are bigger than Walmart.

    Thanks 'Legogal', actually many of the old school country pubs are still the same as they were basically a century ago......apart from TV's on the wall showing the races, footy and cricket. Hopefully I can start on the pub next week......cash has run out today......no money , no new parts and I'll have to start with what I have in stock. Keep watching !

    I'm full of surprises.........someone has gone on holidays after becoming famous outside of the U.K.......he's just a little confused about being in Australia. Still even more to come......keep watching !

    Funny, the only images are of the fan zone set up......not the Lego City layout......now unless the fan zone folks talked to the City layout folks......then I'll wait and see what pops up over the next two days.

    What ? No ice breaker or surprise city set ? Thank goodness we are getting trains this year otherwise I won't be buying much Lego this year. Edit - Wait a minute......it's early morning in Denmark.....the show hasn't even opened yet - how does 'eiker86' know this ?

    Now remember trains were removed from the town forum and it hasn't cause the train forum to collapse.....has it ? Ah, I knew I would throw a cat amongst the pigeons by suggesting splitting the forum up.
